After several different chats, Chelsea Pet control accommodated me right away and saw me briefly after. We had an exterminator come over and spray the first two times, but the issue still did not seem to go away. Although he was extremely friendly and we loved his personality and kindness, we knew we needed a more advanced technician. We were not satisfied yet, there was definitely a lot of questions left unanswered. I messaged Chelsea Pest Control to request another technician to have another look themselves and see if someone else can figure it out, and then they sent over Sammy. In a matter of MINUTES, Sammy was able to detect the problem and what was causing this infestation! He was confident and diligent, not afraid to get his hands dirty. You can tell he works hard and is extremely determined to finding a solution NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES. He took the extra time to spray our apartment extra, give us a clear explanation on how to stop it, and answered all my questions and concerns confidently and patiently. I have a very tight schedule due to my hybrid job and Michael made sure to confirm his visit the day before and keep me updated throughout the day on timing. He was able to identify the opening and and offer long term solutions. He sealed the opening, replaced old traps, check the radiators and vents and closets for any small holes. Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family.
