I bought a grill from them many years ago and still use it to this day! Great service and their product line is top quality, which means they're not cheap. It's worth the extra cost as in my experience, cheaper grills have cheaper parts that need to be replaced far more often. I highly recommend these guys and gals! read more

Staff was incredibly friendly. They gave you a few minutes to walk around before jumping on you. At no point did they try to sell me anything that I really wasn't looking at. At no point were they trying to upsell me, rather just make sure I got what I was looking for. They were really accommodating, even taking the shelves off of floor model and loading it into my car for me. They tolerated my four and a half year old who ran around the store touching everything and were nothing but friendly to him. They even helped find his lost toy on our way out. I've been to the store a few times over the years and found it to be overpriced with rude customer service employees. Well, nothing has changed. Called earlier today looking to purchase a $2,000 BBQ and all associated accessories. Johnathan took a message for me and advised a sales associate would call me back ASAP. After waiting three hours, I called back and was greeted by an exceedingly rude associate that seemed to be angry right out of the box. When I asked to speak to a sales associate, he didn't even acknowledge my presence, and hung up the phone on me. Will be spending my 2K directly with the manufacturer now and will gladly wait the two week shipping time just so I won't ever have to deal with those clowns ever again. read more

Visited the Miami location at 9621 S Dixie Hwy, Pinecrest, FL 33156 on August 30th during the threat from Hurricane Dorian to purchase 3 filled propane tanks. I returned a week+ later on a Saturday with the completely full propane tanks (I never used them) to try and return them and they refused, but the staff said they would ask the owner to give me a call on Monday September 9th. Marcie (not sure if she is/was the owner) did call me on September 9th, but refused to take the tanks back because the store "can't store full propane tanks". Marcie wasn't rude, but just intransigent. She was unwilling to find any other solution other than "it's a hurricane supply item, so you have to keep it" despite the fact that their receipt clearly states that they will take refunds but charge a restocking fee. I even offered to take store credit, which again, she refused. I'm living up to my promise to Marcie, to never shop there again. Any small business that operates with a complete lack of inflexibility and an unwillingness to find a solution to keep/make a customer doesn't my business. read more

I bought my grill from Evening Delight. My husband refused to go into the store as he stated how rude they were. I went in and got what I thought was help. The employee NEVER came through with what he was to do. I returned again and a guy who states he was the manager so called helped me. HE WAS RUDE - NASTY and unhelpful. 4 years ago we stepped into this store and received great customer service. The staff was ready to answer any question we had. We ended up spending over 5k. Today I walked in with my mom to buy several things for her outdoor kitchen. Staff could not care less that we were even in the store. I approached a young sales man who did his very best helping us. Before finalizing my purchase I came back with my husband to get his opinion. We modified the order and was about to pay. While reviewing the final invoice with the young sales man the other staff members turned off the lights and literally kicked us out of the store. The young salesman was very apologetic but could not help me any longer. Besides the young sales man the rest of the staff is just there to pick up a paycheck. The service was terrible!!!! Used to be a go to place for great service and fair price. Sadly neither. Mark ups seem to be 200% and though some of staff are rudimentarily friendly there is no genuine desire to be helpful. They've definitely not kept up with the times and I've found Lowe's and Ace to be more helpful by quantum amounts, with really competitive prices and surprisingly equal if not better knowledge on the bbq/smoker/grill/fireplace etc. (never got a hot tub so no comments on that). Even a propane refill is cheaper at Costco and amazingly at my local Shell gas station.one good thing is the guarantee on replacement parts which is what brought me back to the store. read more

Came into the store to buy a wall mounted fireplace. My husband and I were quoted $500-$700 for the installation. David came out to my home to do the surveying and had an attitude the whole time. Neither him nor Jeff followed up afterwards. When I called to get the install date David gave me more attitude which was ignored. Jeff was on the call as well and said a bump out wouldn't be necessary and the fireplace will be flush against the wall. I asked for the final price and they still didn't provide one. Mind you I have already paid $1500 for the fireplace itself. I get a call the next day from Jeff first to my husband and then to me. He gives my husband and i contradictory information which makes no sense seeing as the calls are minutes apart. He comes back with a $1500 quote for the install negating what he said yesterday and saying the entire wall needed to be built out. When I explained this is not what we agreed upon and not the information he provided he said he could lower it to $1100 to just do a bump out instead of building out the whole wall. Let me explain a bump out is putting less than an inch of drywall to frame the piece so the sides are not exposed. That is not an $1100 job. I respectfully told Jeff $500-$700 is far off from $1100 to $1500 and to please refund me for the fireplace. His attitude was very condescending saying "well I understand you can't afford it." It's obvious these people are crooks and are either price gouging or simply do not want the business of someone not In a Pinecrest area code. I also noticed all their negative reviews on google are strictly from Hispanics so we may even have a boys club in our hands that is racist towards Hispanics. If that's the case they are doing business in the wrong city. We could afford the fireplace but I am not going to overpay simply for the sake of overpaying. Please DO NOT buy a bar b que grill from this place if you value your skin or face or your money!!! We purchased a very expensive stainless steel grill which has not worked very efficiently since the day we bought it. Due to inconvenience I never insisted that the company replace it. After an episode of it almost catching my hair on fire and now another occurrence where I have 2 nd degree burns on my finger tips from the knobs getting too hot, the company wants to charge me $125.00 for a service call and more money for parts... Never mind the money that I have to spend on silvadene cream and DR. Bills!!! I don't know which is worse, the company's products or their customer service! In talking about this, I also learned of a friend who had to be air lifted after using a grill that they had bought from this company! Do NOT purchase a grill from evenings delight..
