I went to The Sycamore last weekend for a friend's bachelorette, and it was truly a 10/10…read moreexperience--from the service to the food to the overall atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a relaxed, drawn-out dinner where we could enjoy drinks, take our time, and really soak it all in. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which set the tone for the night. Everyone ordered cocktails (I've heard the espresso martini is one of their best, even though coffee isn't really my thing), and honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the drink menu. We started with the Meze, which included house-made falafel, tzatziki, hummus, sun-dried tomato couscous, assorted vegetables, and naan--everything was fresh and so flavorful. They also brought out complimentary focaccia right away, which was such a nice touch. For my main, I ordered the seasonal scallops, and I also tried the chicken thighs with fig, goat cheese, asparagus, parmigiano reggiano, and couscous--both were absolutely amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat just to try more of the menu. We were there for about 2-3 hours, and at no point did we feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing the staff. The entire experience felt thoughtful, welcoming, and just really special. Highly recommend The Sycamore for your next date night or girls' dinner!

We ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share and some stand outs were the scallop appetizer, Jamin appetizer, and the Caesar salad (one of the best Caesars in Columbus)! Food was a bit pricey for what it is but standard for the ambience and location and a fantastic time with friends.

Heard they had good wings, and they are kind of on my way today so I stopped by. Nice neighborhood…read morebar atmosphere. Some street parking available on a weekday afternoon. Pretty big menu of bar classics plus a lot more. Wings are up under the appetizers, and they are pretty basic: Buffalo or barbecue, baked, with blue cheese and celery. No other options. But, simple is sometimes best. They came out steaming, 10 pretty good-sized meaty wings. The sauce was heavy, but not dripping off, although you are going to need the napkins and wet naps they bring. The barbecue was tangy and sweet, but not overly so. I really enjoyed them. Could've maybe used a little more celery to give me some kind of a health balance. Service was excellent. Prices are decent. It's hard to tell what's high anymore, but they are competitive. The atmosphere in the place was cool. People eating, drinking, talking, watching games. I would definitely come back.

The bartender my friend and I had was very friendly and made a good aviation. I had a build your own macaroni bowl with chicken, buffalo sauce, and broccoli. It was pretty good. My friend thought the burger was pretty ok. It is a bit cramped in there so I wouldn't bring a bunch of people. But it is totally a nice little addition to the east village.

So we pivoted and got the breakfast items. We shared the egg sandwich and the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Both were delicious. I loved the burrito just a touch more. Opened my mind to bubbly, learned a lot and met some cool people. Most recently stopped in for wine Wednesday. Grabbed a smashburger, tiny tini (the olive) and some wine. Smashburger- good. The sauce was really tangy/pickley added ketchup to balance it out for my liking. Fries fire! Cocktail-The olive- not my thing, was trying something new since I'm coming around to olives, but no. Speaking objectively it felt like it was well balanced but I could still taste too much of the olive food my preference. I'm late writing this and they now have a dinner and new drink menu, so I'm overdue for a visit back :). Super cute.  Amazing customer service. Special shoutout to Jeff, Syn? And Marco who took care of us in some capacity. Drinks-  collins angel hot latte 5/5 and a matcha latte (Collins angel version) 4/5 Food- egg sandwich w/ bacon- soft bread,  thick bacon,  moist. 5/5 and vermonter- turkey apple and cheese pastry. 4/5 flaky,  good filling.  Not the biggest fan of the sesame seeds. Overall clean,  cute,  great music/ vibes. A bit pricey, paid $23 for a pastry and drink. But I look forward to returning and exploring the wine/ bar and live music & after work ambiance.
