My sister and I visited this location a couple of months ago for brow services and had a fantastic experience with a sweet young girl. She was kind, professional, and did a great job on our eyebrows. Today, we were excited to return for a fun self-care day, but unfortunately, our experience was completely different. When we walked in, the store was empty, and the employee on duty was laying in the waiting area chairs with her legs hanging up over the arm of the chair, talking on her cellphone. The unprofessionalism caught me off guard, but I brushed it off, thinking maybe business was slow, and she was just relaxing. However, she didn't greet us or acknowledge us at all. Instead, she stood up and gave me the nastiest up-and-down look (and I'm truly not exaggerating), which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. She then turned her back to us, still not acknowledging us in the slightest. Confused but without saying a word, I turned to my sister--who must have noticed the same thing--because she immediately said, "No, let's go." So, we walked right out. Unfortunately, the whole situation really caught us off guard and put a damper on our day. I came to this business for several years on and off, even through the pandemic. They close early, open late and have long waits because they only have one person working at a time, yet still I supported them. Today I came in to get threaded and renew my 3 month membership. I was told that I couldn't. The threader said "No YOU can no longer get a membership, only pay each time." When I asked why, when I had been getting a membership for years. I was told."You have too much hair, come too often and it takes too long to thread. The owner said we have the right to refuse service to anyone." She further stated that I take 20 mins to thread as opposed to the woman (white presenting) that left prior to me; who had what she referred to as "peach fuzz" and only took 7 minutes. I said I was never told there was stipulations to membership. She replied, "I'm just following the rules." I asked for the owners information and she said she didn't know it. I was so embarrassed and humiliated I didn't even want to have her finish my threading. I just paid and left. I have PCOS and suffer from Hirsutism, this the reason I go get threaded. I feel so completely discriminated against. Just a warning, if you are "too hairy" you may be denied service as well. read more

They let the Latina girl before me pay at the register like a normal person would but when my service was done they asked for payment while I was still laid back in the chair. I've always gone to Brows Arch at either Morada or Trinity Parkway. Both places provide awesome customer service and they always do a good job. I always purchase the 3 months membership for both eyebows and upper lip and it's unlimited visits for those 3 months! I just moved into the area about two months ago. Being caught up with getting the house together, my eyebrows definitely had been neglected and needed a good cleaning. For eyebrow threading going once a month is the normal maintenance. I searched Google and Yelp to find some good places to try out so that I can find my new eyebrow threading haven here in Stockton. Of course, a lot of search results came up including Brows Arch. Because of the high rating, it was definitely going to be one of the places I tried out. Well this is the first place I went to after neglecting my eyebrows for the last two months. The location of the store is great! It's located in the Trinity Parkway hub with the rest of the stores and fast food places. There's plenty of parking so you won't have to worry about that. After you park, you walk to the storefront and into the store. The store is very clean and welcoming. There's about 6 seats in a "L" shape to sit and wait in. Against the far back wall are shelves holding purses and wallets. Against the bigger wall is Indian jewelry and some regular jewelry. I love the added extra! Definitely a place to check out for Indian gatherings! Now to the main event, I didn't call and make an appointment, I actually don't know if they take reservations, but I walked in. There was only one person working that day. When I walked in, the woman already had someone sitting in her chair receiving serviced. There was one person ahead of me and then I would be next. I was expecting for someone to come out from the back and help since after I came, another two people came in, but no one ever came to help the woman. The woman works fast and I was thinking to myself as I was watching that all she did was the eyebrow threading and nothing else. I'm used to from my previous eyebrow threading place for the eyebrow hairs to be trimmed and an aloe vera eyebrow massage, I didn't see the woman offer any fo these things. Soon enough it was my turn, and mind you, my eyebrows were horrible due to the neglect of two months. I'm used to the threading since I have had my eyebrows threaded for years. The woman motioned for me to sit in the chair, the chair wasn't sprayed or wiped down (mind you we're still in a pandemic) I reluctantly sat down in the chair, she asked if it was just a clean up. Since it's been two months, I asked for a clean up and shape. She cleaned my eyebrows and was done in less than 5 minutes. She asked me to sit up and handed me a mirror. I then asked for her to make my eyebrows a little thinner, she asked by one or two lines, I said one. She removed one line of hair from the bottom of my eyebrows and didn't bother shaping the top. When I asked her to shape the top of my eyebrow, she said that she did and that was all she can offer. She didn't even say she was done with my eyebrows, she asked if I wanted witch hazel, handed me a cotton ball with it and walked to the register. When I asked her about trimming my eyebrows or an eyebrow massage like other places offer, she didn't provide me with an answer. Just for the eyebrow threading it was $13. At my old eyebrow threading place they only charged $10 even through the pandemic and they offered trimming and eyebrow massage. I will not be going back to get my eyebrows done there. I didn't get a full service or get my eyebrows done the way I wanted them. If I'm the one paying for them and the eyebrows are on my face, I should be receiving what I pay for and ask. The woman did an okay job cleaning my eyebrows but at the end of the day she did not do as I asked. read more

I have gone to both Trinity Parkway and Morada. If I could find the Morada yelp page, I'd write one for them too. I've had nothing but good visits and always leave happy with my results. I've seen many reviews about their "horrible service" and the staff being on their phones when there are no customers. It's their business and if they want to watch tv or look at their phones when there's no one around then oh well. If you go to an empty restaurant or department store, trust me they're on their phones. Everyone does it. But once you come in, you are immediately greeted and their attention is focused on you. I've seen some reviews about how staff doesn't talk to you. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I don't see an issue with it. I'd rather have someone not talk then be rude or fake with me. They are very pleasant ladies and when they do talk to you, they carry on good conversation. For me, all it took was one visit and I stopped getting eyebrows waxed. I've never had eyebrows shaped as well as they look now. It hurts less than waxing. Sure waxing can be cheaper but I'd rather pay $12 for beautiful brows versus $7 for mediocre brows. I have the membership card, where I spend $50 but come in as many times as I want for 3 months. I go maybe once a week or two weeks. They're not so busy in the morning but tend to be busy in the afternoon and weekends. Don't let the amount of people in the store phase you. I've never stayed longer than 15 minutes and most people in chairs are people that a customer brought. When they are done, you'll see about 3-4 people leave with them at once. I don't get why anyone would give low ratings to fast and sincere service but oh well! read more

This review is specifically for the Morada location. I had been growing out my brows for a couple of months or so, and wanted to get them cleaned up. I came in, sat down, and told the lady what I wanted. "Just a clean up, I like them thick." She gave me a short "mmhm" so I figured she heard me. I should have said something when it started to feel like she was taking a lot off, but I trusted her. She finished up, gave me the mirror and asked me if it was okay. I looked in the mirror to see that half of my eyebrows were gone. The urge to yell was real. These are my family heirlooms, passed down from generation to generation and they've been butchered! I held it in and said yes this is fine, paid her and went to cry in the car. Granted, I should have said something right then and there, but the hairs aren't going to magically grow back just because I'm pissed off. Moral of the story: PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY HEAR YOU! Or just don't come here. Either works. She had been watching a soap opera when I walked in and was still watching when I sat down. Normally I don't care, it's just hair and it grows back, but half of my eyebrow because you weren't paying attention? Not acceptable. read more

UPDATE: I highly recommend Sukhdeet (I probably spelled her name wrong). My sister and I came in for a clean up and oh my goodness our eyebrows never looked so good. She took her time and she even trimmed our brows. I've been to Brows Arch many times and never once have they trimmed my eyebrows. We love Sukhdeet's attention to detail! Not a stray hair in sight. My sister and I are definitely coming back for an appointment with her. She is also very very nice. Previous review: This place does a good job. I consider $12 for an eyebrow threading pretty pricey but it works. They work fast. I feel a little pain sometimes compared to the other eyebrow threading place I go to but beauty is pain, right? After eyebrow threading, they do offer complimentary witch hazel, which is a great treat especially considering all the redness and slight swelling. I took off 1/2 a star because the clean up isn't as "clean" since they sometimes leave some stray hairs. But that's easily fixable with a quick pluck at home. I hate going to salons & other eyebrow places because they'd constantly pressure me like "mustache too? U want tinting too?" They get straight to it & not in a hasty mean manner but in a kind way & their work is quite decent as well! After she did my eyebrows she didn't say anything to me and she didn't even offer witch hazel to soothe my skin (and the bit of bleeding). I've had better service elsewhere. But, when I told the lady if she can shape the bottom and just lightly clean up the top I expected just that. I came here because I was recently told my eyebrows were uneven. I've been getting waxed at the same place for years, and I guess you get what you pay for which is uneven eyebrows for $7. I have been threaded before and said I'd never do it again because it hurt worse than waxing, but I took a chance and went for it. I was in and out within five minutes. Went in on a Friday afternoon and it there was only one person ahead of me and one girl working. The employee had her headphones connected and was having a full on conversation on her phone rather than with the customer. When it was my turn, she just nodded at me to sit down in her chair. She did not speak to me the entire time I was in the chair, but continued her phone conversation. She finished my brows pretty quickly and cleaned them up nicely, but she did not trim them at all nor do any touch up tweezing. She DID say thank you when I paid, but because I work in customer service and was so dissatisfied with hers, I just couldn't bring myself to tip her a dime. -1 star for not trimming or tweezing -1 star for terrible service -3 stars for quick service and decent threading. read more

First visit: 07/31/2015 I give 5 stars for my first experience at Brows Arch. There were two people ahead of me, about 15 minutes prior to their closing. I took a seat and waited my turn, about 4 for girls walked in after I did. Anyway, I only had to wait about 10 minutes. My eyebrows were looking WILD lol, I was long overdue. I sat down, was asked if I just wanted a cleanup to which I replied yes. I do not like my brows thin at all. Laid back, and in 5 minutes I was looking like my normal self again. Super quick but very precise. My eyebrows are perfect, they look exactly like I prefer. I was offered some witch hazel on cotton balls which I took. Paid with my credit card at the counter and was out of there. Like previous Yelpers have said, the lady who does the threading isn't exactly a Chatty Cathy but that is fine with me. So I wait few mins and ask do you have time for eyebrows she says " yea I guess I will do them" so I down in the polkadot chairs waiting for her. After 2-3 mins I said are you doing my eyebrows or someone else? She says " i can do them." While working my eyebrows first she did a shitty ass job, did clean the surrounding of the eyes, I was telling her what to tweez, trim, or thread. They charge $12 yet the job and service was crap. If I ever go back it will only be to the indian lady not the Pakistani depressed one with long blk/red hair. Owner, please don't allow her to do eyebrows. She will fuck up other ppl's eyebrows too.
