I have been coming from Stockton to this place since college and this will definitely be my last time. She was acting unprofessional with all her sighing and huffing noises. Wonderful place with excellent service! My appointment was forgotten so when I showed up, nobody was there. She had me come back and was willing to put me ahead of everyone when I came back. The customers she had ahead of me were not patient or kind to her about the wait but she was moving so quickly, I let everyone go ahead of me. The women working here have a lot of skill with the thread, a firm stroke that gets a lot of hair and doesn't hurt at all compared to other threading salons I've been to!! I've seen a few women here though and each time have had to ask them to touch up more than one area of my eyebrow and lip. They do rush jobs and aren't very thorough. read more

Do not go here this lady ruined my eyebrows she took half my eyebrows off and they are so uneven and ugly

I just got my eye brows done at this place and I am absolutely and completely devastated. I asked her to just clean up the stray hairs, and what do I get? Half of my eye brows taken off. They are completely butchered. The left one is a bit thicker than the right, which is totally ironic because my right one is the naturally bushy-er brow. And they're both uneven. Not to mention, I told her I liked them more arched, and they're a completely straight line!!! I'm so embarrassed by how thin they are. Please do not go here. Unless you like thin brows, do not go here. I will never step foot in this place again. My first and last time here.I had nice thick eye brows and just needed a clean up. I specifically told my eyebrow lady I like my brows natural with no arch. I'm now left with thin arched eye brows. And they don't look nice, very butchered. After she did my first eye brow she handed me a mirror and asked if I liked. I told her no they are too thin it's not what I wanted and she proceeded to tell me they are beautiful anyway. Thanks a lot lady here's to the next 3 months of me having to grow them back out. read more

I used to go to Eyebrow Masters, and I was there for quite some time, I didn't even know about this place until I happened to go to the new In Shape gym that's by it. I was happy to find a new place. Back at Eyebrow Masters it was always a luck game. The owner of Eyebrow Masters is fantastic at eyebrow threading, but she is rarely rarely ever there and will not prioritize threading, she is busy with other services and has her workers do the threading, and I found that only 2 of the girls did my eyebrows pretty good but not great. Now here at Style of India, I don't have to worry about that anymore. The owner is always there and she is terrific at what she does! I am so much happier now. :) read more

Yikes. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed and threaded for the last 10 +years and this was the most painful. I came home very red and swollen with a cut (how do you get a cut during threading?!!!) and had to put on hydrocortisone on my face. I hate to give a new business bad reviews, but I'm not coming here again. I chose this place because they were good with walk-ins. The place I usually get my eyebrows done was booked. They were clean, however halfway through my threading a worker there announced "the toilet doesn't work. Don't use the bathroom, use the one at chipotle." she wasn't talking to me but to the lady doing my brows. Lol. Uuuuuummmmm, say what?! why would you say that out loud in front of a client? Otherwise, another star for completely taking off all hair from where I asked. read more

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give these people your business. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and I've been snatched bald! Now, I've had my eyebrows threaded many many times, and I've never had such a horrible experience. Not only was it extremely painful, but the lady literally took over half of my eyebrows off. The left side is a totally different shape from the right side, they're not even the same length, nor are they the same thickness. I tried pencilling them in this morning to no avail. I can't even believe this! She never asked me if I wanted them pencil thin, nor did she show me what they looked like part way through so I could stop her from taking ALL of my eyebrows. Don't waste your money here! Now I'm going to have to pencil my brows in for however long it takes them to grow out so I have enough hair to at least make them look the same. read more

I have loved geting my eyebrows done here since shortly after it opened and I stumbled upon it after working in downtown!
