When you stare at bad brows for so many years, seeing properly shaped brows is overwhelming! Then the eyelash enhancement was the icing on the cake, kind of brought the eyes and brows together in harmony. I saw the final results and cried. Still looks amazing and I never have to touch my brows or use makeup. I waited 6 months after my original appointment to get a touchup. I just wanted to add that I'm pretty shocked by some of the negative reviews here. I initially went to Alluring Permanent Makeup because a few of my friends had gotten their lips and brows done there and were very happy. My interactions with staff were extremely pleasant - they were reasonable and easy to work with both times I went.

I actually mentioned that I go to the gym actively, and she mentioned her concern for getting sweat on the eyebrows. I was very careful about keeping them dry and made sure to follow all the after-care instructions. They healed beautifully! The touch-up appointment was an equally pleasant experience. It was great seeing Jenny again. She did have to skip a small spot because there was a small pimple, so it looked a little patchy. She told me I could return later and she could fill them in real quick, no charge. She's just THAT amazing. There's not a lot of beauty professionals who will go out of their way and extend that sort of service to you. Like I said, Jenny loves and exceeds at what she does. When I returned a couple months later, she was in the middle of changing locations, but she still made the time to do the small touch-up like she promised. Jenny is an incredible PMU artist. (Dm me here or on Yelp for a recommendation for a wonderful lash tech!!!) Let me start this off by saying that I have had my lash extensions done professionally for 8 years. There are lash extensions that can look full, amazing, natural, wispy, and also can be done on you very comfortably... and then there are lash extensions that can be very uncomfortable, eyes burning during application, too much glue used, glued too close to your skin, too blocky, thick, and fake looking! Sometimes it's hard to see in pictures, but you can definitely tell the difference in real life. I'm sure you've seen those really heavy, blocky, obviously fake, dark thick lash extensions and you think to yourself oh wow, I would never wanna look like that. Well, that is how this place does their lashes. The artists are some of the worst I've seen between California and Vegas. I'm sure the reviews are bought and paid, or probably from people who just don't know any better and think this is as good as it gets. I'm guessing they try to delete bad reviews too because I've spoken to multiple people unhappy with this studio since my experiences!!!! I want other women to save their time and money by avoiding it here. I first had an appointment with a new artist who was less experienced than the others. I think they call them junior artists or something like that. She was very sweet and she did her best. But her hands were sweating the whole time and my lashes were too small, sparse, and felt crunchy at the end of the appointment.. It was clear to me that she was inexperienced. The lashes were coming out a couple days after the appointment. I contacted the studio again and informed them what happened with this first set. They offer me to go with a stylist named Aliyah, who they said is their top senior artist and always makes everyone happy/everyone always loves her work. So I said great. Let's give it a shot. The work done by Aliyah was so aggressively glued to my natural lashes and so heavy for the natural lashes that the set was so uncomfortable from the moment she started doing them all the way through to when I couldn't take it anymore and had to take them off (about a week later) My eyes were literally burning throughout the entire appointment and she just kept shushing me like a baby and wouldn't give me a fan to fan them until I asked multiple times. When the appointment was over, my eye was incredibly red, see the photo attached. This is not normal!!! and must be because of either the insane amount of glue that she was using or the fact that she doesn't use tape properly for the eyes or maybe the fact that she just glues the lashes way too close to the skin. Either way, this is not a style or preference issue, this is just flat out bad training and application. Then, at the end of the appointment, the red haired receptionist was pacing upset and rushing. I told her that I realized she was huffing and puffing and that I'll be out the door as soon as I look over my lashes and make sure I'm happy with them. She told me she was stressed out because her mom was picking her up from work. This was extremely unprofessional as I had just spent over $300 including gratuities for two sets that were not what I wanted. The owners only took off $30 from the first set btw. You want to be happy at the end of a 2 to 2 1/2 hour long appointment because of course you wanna be happy with the work and think that you just spent good time and money, so you may want to be polite like I was and say that "the sets were good/yes I'm happy" but in reality they're just really not and this is not the kind of place that is highly trained for lashes. I have found an amazing Borboleta trained artist who I am more than happy to recommend anyone who wants to send me a private message! If you can't send a private message through Google, you can find the same review on yelp and message me there and I will absolutely give you the information of the person I found who is highly trained. The lashes look amazing, naturally full and fluffy, and she applies them in a way that is so comfortable. Save your time and money and avoid Mallyna.

LOVE my ombré brows! Had a wonderful experience with Brows by Jaz. I was pretty nervous about getting permanent makeup, but I'm happy I went through with it and even happier it was with Jaz. The day after I booked, she personally followed up to confirm the apt. The week of she sent over pre-care instructions and answered any questions I had. As I entered the appointment she was extremely friendly off the bat and started explaining the process and after care step by step. She was very detailed and took the time to map out a brow shape/color based off my preferences, face shape, and skin tone. She even filled one brow in with pencil so I could get an idea of the shape. Overall she was very detailed and got my approval before each step. The tattooing process was a 1/10 (if that) on the pain scale and a topical numbing cream was used. Once we finished we took some photos and she sent me home with an after care kit. Absolutely in love with the results! They look natural and are healing so nicely. I've gotten so many compliments. I had an incredible experience with Jasmin! I was nervous about getting permanent makeup, having spent two years debating whether to go for it. Jasmin immediately put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the procedure and aftercare process. She mapped out one eyebrow with a pencil, showing me the proposed shape. After we agreed, she proceeded to map out the other eyebrow, letting me to visualize the final look. This step was incredibly reassuring and made me feel confident! I have some health problems and she explained how that can affect my ink intake not once did she leave me in the dark of not knowing of what could happen or not. Also for my follow up I happened to get into a car wreck the week off and had to postpone. I wanted to start off by saying I delayed posting a review because I wanted to see how my brows healed and how I would feel about them overall and I can honestly say I absolutely love them! Jaz did such an amazing job on my brows. They look so natural and fit my face perfectly. This was actually my second visit for my touch-up, and we decided to go a little darker with my brows and I'm so glad we did because they came out perfect. I just got my eyebrows touched up with Jaz and I'm honestly so happy with the results. I prefer my eyebrows to be darker to match my eyebrows. When I first went in I was pretty nervous with the results cause they came out to light and I felt a bit insecure. I had expressed I don't want them light and to me they were but Jaz was pretty reassuring about the healing process and how we can always go darker. They did look better after the healing process but I wish she had gone darker the first time. So rn I'm waiting for my retouch to heal. Over all the experience was professional. Prior to my appointment, we connected via email - sent her a deposit along with pictures of what I wanted for my engagement photos. Time flew by - my hair was styled to the side, with curls, volume and a birdcage veil. Everything was done in 30 minutes. My styled held up the whole day and night. :) The cost is beyond reasonable and received excellent service. She works at the back of a salon in her private room. I can't wait to see her again! Tip: type in W. Portal and not Portal - it will take you elsewhere. Luckily Lily works fast!
