Amazing and knowledgeable doctor, but just as important he's an empathetic, good hearted man.

I was a patient of Dr. Galbraith for five years and always liked him as a doctor. Unfortunately,…read moreI've continually struggled with his staff and the overall management of his office. His daughter still works there, which makes it very uncomfortable to express any concerns or frustrations. I often felt that no matter what issues arose, I couldn't speak freely without risking tension or being treated differently. I was originally referred to this practice by a neighbor who spoke highly of Dr. Galbraith at the time. However, that same neighbor left his practice years ago for the very same kinds of issues I eventually encountered -- primarily poor communication and disorganization within the office. Dr. Galbraith was fully aware of my complicated medical history -- including surviving a coma and dealing with PTSD -- and I had trusted him with some of the most difficult parts of my recovery. A few years ago, he hired a new assistant who, while polite, has significant communication issues. She is extremely shy and often misunderstands information, which repeatedly led to confusion and delays in my care. Despite this, I remained patient and said nothing. Then, about two weeks ago, I received a letter from his office stating that if I wanted "better and faster service," I would need to pay $250 per month -- in addition to my insurance and co-pays. That was the last straw. I decided to find a new doctor and began transferring my care immediately. Before leaving, I needed one final prescription refill. Unfortunately, the same communication breakdown occurred, and I went several days without medication, which left me in severe pain. I called the office upset -- understandably so -- especially given that Dr. Galbraith himself had diagnosed me with PTSD and was aware of my emotional struggles since my coma. Instead of showing understanding or professionalism, I received a letter THE NEXT DAY stating that I was being dismissed as a patient. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. After five years as a loyal patient and one emotional phone call born out of pain and frustration, Dr. Galbraith chose to cut ties rather than show compassion or accountability. Ironically, I was dismissed for symptoms related to the very condition he was treating me for. While I have since moved on to a new physician, I feel it's important to share this experience. BE AWARE that this practice now charges $250 a month for what they call "better service," and that genuine understanding and patient care may not be part of that package.

My boyfriend and I have been patients here for close to 20 years and receive top notch care all the way around. We feel so blessed to have had such an educated doctor who truly cares looking out for our health and wellness.

The level of disorganization, lack of communication, and disregard for patients' time is shocking. On multiple occasions, I have needed a basic referral for an urgent medical concern. When I explained my current symptoms and expressed that I was concerned about the urgency of the situation, those concerns were completely dismissed. There was no sense of urgency, no meaningful attempt to help, and no indication that anyone was actually listening. Getting ahold of someone in the office is difficult enough. Once you do, you are met with staff who seem uninterested in helping and unwilling to take ownership of even the simplest patient concerns. What should have been a quick referral process instead required an in-person appointment, extended waiting, and significant time away from work and daily responsibilities. What is most frustrating is that appointments do not function like appointments. Patients are expected to arrive at a scheduled time only to sit and wait for long periods in a crowded, poorly managed waiting room before being called back for visits that last only a minute or two. My time appears to have no value to this office. Healthcare providers have a responsibility to listen to their patients and take concerns seriously. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and frustrated. When a patient is describing symptoms they believe require urgent attention, the response should never be indifference. Patients should not have to fight this hard for basic care, communication, or referrals. This office needs to take a hard look at its operations, patient communication, and overall standard of care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone who expects timely care, professionalism, or compassion.

The skills and knowledge I've received here have helped me better cope with anxiety, depression, and learn how to improve my relationships. Rachel at the front, keeps the place together and encourages like no other. Matthew sets the bar as an incredible case manager and facilitator. When speaking with him I felt seen and understood during a challenging time. And I've seen how the groups he leads with transformative practices has made powerful waves in how my peers and I tackle our challenges. Lena is a wonderful CM who embraced me as I am and helped me see a whole new world of possibility, at my own pace, as well as offering deep insights when facilitating our groups. And Dr.Turner has been a wise wizard offering support with tailored medication, speaking to me as an individual, and offering timely guidance. There's a list of more wonderful people here, like Ashly and her sound meditations, and Sapna with her artful activities for making breakthroughs. Jamie also sets a safe space that helps groups open up and process. The environment is welcoming too, which makes the experience less daunting, as well as the intake process with Aljan. The insurance and paperwork process is handled efficiently too. The care and wisdom shared within this facility has greatly influenced my sense of safety and helped me better my life. There's the family we start with, and the family we make along the way, and I will be forever grateful for all the people I've met here. All that to say, I definitely recommend them. Wishing you courage on your journey.

When a loved one is struggling, the people around them are often struggling just as much, and most facilities don't acknowledge that. Solstice does. The group sessions designed for family members were genuinely transformative for me. They didn't just offer reassurance or pamphlets -- they gave me real, practical tools for how to show up better for my family member during an incredibly difficult time. I came in feeling reactive and overwhelmed, and I left with what I can only describe as a blueprint: a way of understanding what was happening and how to navigate it with more clarity and less fear. If you have a loved one in treatment and you're wondering whether to engage with the family programming -- do it. It made a meaningful difference in how I was able to support someone I love. That kind of ripple effect says a lot about the philosophy behind this program
