I had my 2 fur babies cremated here. They are very reasonably priced. My fur babies were treated very well and they treated me with a lot of compassion and care. I would recommend them for cremation of your beloved pet or family member to anyone. God bless all that work thete your compassion for others means alot. read more

Locally, family owned and opperated for three generations. The Brucker family is proud of its heritage and commitment to the Newark-Licking County community. Our caring and professional Funeral Directors are on call 24/7 to meet your family's needs. We offer pre-planned and at-need traditional burial and cremation services as well as other free, no obligation services such as creation of a living will or the assignment of a Durable Power of Attorney for healthcare. We also offer pet cremation services.

History

Established in 1924.

Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home was founded in 1924. At that time it was known as the Householder Funeral Home. In 1951 Robert Brucker, Sr. and James Kishler formed a partnership and purchased the firm. In 1974 Jim Brucker, the son of Robert Brucker joined the firm as the second generation. In the year 2000, Jim Brucker's daughters Leslea Brucker-Calvert and Tracy Brucker- Brewster joined the firm, beginning the third generation of the family owned and operated funeral firm. The Brucker family is proud of its heritage and commitment to the Newark-Licking County community.

The total disregard for people's health & safety for PROFIT is disgusting for this supposed faith -based business. Don't get me wrong, my elderly (health-compromised) parents were wrong in staying to support their grandchildren but they were conflicted for family. I suggest going somewhere else if you want you health intact. They clearly violated State of Ohio Rules!! Shame on Agnes Reed

This cemetery has gone down hill! They spray chemicals around the graves to cut back instead of…read moremowing and weed whacking! The graves are being destroyed by continuous spaying of chemicals and its not just killing off the vegetation but it's killing the soil to where it's receding and weakening the ground! If I could give ZERO stars I would! This cemetery is a disgrace and I truely regret having my son buried there but I wanted him buried in the same place as other family members who have passed on as well and all the graves are in horrible conditions! I have tried to fix it time and time again by putting new soil and plant grass seed put border around and lastly even took sod and put it all around my sons grave and they keep spraying like they don't care! Something needs to be done! I had to have my sons headstone removed and redone for it was eating the letters away on his headstone and they said it had to be what they are spraying! I'm not tolerating this any longer Something needs to be done cause clearly they have no compassion for our loved ones who are buried there! The grounds keepers are suppose to take care of their graves not destroy them!
