Cookie Review Only…read more Pre-package cookies - before you go ugh I don't think so, think about how long they've been around, most grocery stores dedicate an entire aisle to cookies in just about any variety you can imagine. There are also plenty of startup companies that have established there place in the markets; Grandma's, Famous Amos, Mrs. Field and the list goes on and on the fore mentioned brands aren't a bad option and I guest could be considered premium cookies when compared to those prepackaged by elves and the most famous chocolate chip cookies who's mascot was a live-action superhero named Mort Meek, the odds that you haven't eaten these are practically zero. It seems all those cookies incorporated the famous chocolate morsel back in the day and most are created through engineered processes that have been totally automated and requires very little human intervention except of course the FQS departments who conducts the shelf life studies to ensure they can sit in the warehouses and grocery store shelves much longer the the cookies you mom created at home. Well let me reassure you all pre-packaged cookies aren't created equal - Sweet Street has seemed to have found a niche and probably stands alone for the most part at least until the next entrepreneur trumps them. I doubt if most consumers know what goes into the majority of the mechanically engineered cookies we have been eating for decades and although labeling has gotten so much better unless your a chemist you probably don't know what the ingredients are - I love the fact that Sweet Street has explained things - real butter dough - cage free eggs - non GMO's - no artificial additives it seems pretty simple to me and believe me the quality shows, they are big enough to share and are filled with big chunks of sustainable chocolate. Honestly l would buy these again but I highly recommend a quart of your favorite ice cold milk be it dairy or plant based...

From the very beginning, Lisa was attentive, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process. She took the time to discuss our vision, confirm details, and ensure everything was exactly as we wanted it, which made planning so much easier and gave us complete confidence in the final result. The almond cake with buttercream was exceptional--moist, full of rich almond flavor, and paired with a light, perfectly balanced buttercream that wasn't overly sweet. The chocolate mocha flavor was equally impressive, with a delicious balance of chocolate and coffee. Lisa also prepared an assortment of mini desserts for our wedding favor boxes, allowing guests to choose their favorites to take home. They were not only beautifully presented but also a huge hit with everyone who tried them. We couldn't have been happier with both the quality and presentation of everything she created for our special day. We highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for beautiful, delicious desserts and a seamless experience from start to finish.

I can tell you how little they have changed in 43 years. Usually when a business has operated for that long, they've achieved well-known notoriety, yet these remain a bit of a secret. I argue they deserve all the accolades that local pride has conjured up for now defunct businesses like Bell Alley Soft Pretzels. I should've contacted Food Network a long time ago. If you swing by Reading Farmers Market be sure to grab the pretzel doughnuts. A one-of-a-kind, large, perfectly puffy, glazed doughnut, u guessed it, twisted like a knotted pretzel. I enjoy these simple yeasted doughnuts in their iced glory and have yet to come across one anywhere else. The decorated varieties at holidays are a solid choice as is the peanut butter frosted or filled. The thing that has passed is the affordability. Once upon a time you could pick to your hearts content, now they seem individually priced at a premium. Still, I'll pay for the quality & tradition that no super market with their synthesized ingredients can deliver.

Both bathrooms are rundown and smell like piss and sewer every time I've gone in there. Draft beer is flat. Miller Lite cans are $5.50 for a 16 oz (THATS CRAZY). While it was a fun time together, and we spent a few hours bowling, the atmosphere was rather run down and outdated. The shoes were overly worn, and frayed, having seen much better days. The decor looked the same as about 20+ years ago. The place was not crowded at all which was nice in a way of not being crowded with social distancing in place... but on the other hand it was disheartening as I remember it being one of THE places to be. If you're interested in a quiet and slower pace without worrying about aesthetics, give it a go as it will definitely be what you're looking for as we had a wonderful time and experienced no difficulties with the equipment. Everything ran smoothly and the customer service was friendly. If you're needing something that's aesthetically pleasing in your surroundings, I'd suggest seeking an alternative so you're not detracting from an otherwise positive experience.
