There are so many coffee shops in this and the surrounding areas to choose from, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]I find myself often reverting back to Fireside because of its vibrant yet cozy ambience, the wholesome music, great coffee and simple eats, and the convenient commute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, the main reason I find myself continually coming back to Fireside is simply to enjoy the impeccable outdoor furnishings and the creative, cozy nature-inspired interior space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Whether I'm plugging away at work, meeting friends, grabbing a quick bite to eat, or simply having me-time, there's a number of comfortable seating sections to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check out the pictures below. The service is overall decent; the staff greeting and hospitality can use some improvement, and the staff knowledge should be more consistent. On a more recent trip, I realized I came on a day that Skip's chicken sandwiches were being sold - hooray (available Thurs-Sat only)! This sandwich has been on my bucket list since I started coming to Fireside months ago, and it was surprisingly better than I expected, considering its coffee shop food. I ordered the sandwich with "some heat". The chicken was juicy and perfectly fried with a well-seasoned coating on top of a bed of creamy slaw and thick pickle slices, all on a nicely toasted brioche bun. It came with a sweet-chili-mayo "Comeback" sauce which I asked for on the side. The Comeback sauce was a good accompaniment to the sandwich, but it was missing a little something, and the bun could have been thicker to hold the chicken from sliding out; overall, I highly recommend trying the juicy chicken sandwich from Fireside and checking out the neat spot! This is one of the best cafés to visit with little kids! There's a playground for children, and there are plenty of seats available both indoors and outdoors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I especially love the outdoor seating because it's perfect for keeping an eye on the kids while they play, and the adults can relax and enjoy their meals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are also comfortable sofas and coffee tables that make you feel right at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and a green smoothie. The smoothie wasn't bitter at all, making it very easy to drink. It tasted fresh, healthy, and refreshing. I would definitely order it again. The wrap came with a generous serving of chips. Great place for breakfast! Limited menu but the breakfast sandwich was delicious! I got a sausage egg cheddar on a croissant and it was wrapped so nicely. Great presentation. I also got the seasonal Brown Sugar Cardamom Latte. It wasn't too sweet and also delicious! I definitely want to come back to try the lunch menu. They have a window to walk up and place your order. They also have a drivethru or curbside options. An enclosed dining room with tables or multiple seating areas around outdoor fireplaces. I must preface this review by saying that I have not tried any of their food offerings. This review is strictly based upon coffee purchases. The establishment is clean, unique and provides both indoor and outdoor environments for your dining enjoyment. This is a coffee/snack/sandwich kind of place. It doesn't have a full dining menu. The coffee I have ordered has always been tasty, served hot and as ordered. Both times I went here, it seemed to take a long time to fill my order, but maybe it was just me. When the coffee arrived it was right and well enjoyed. Stop by and have a cup sometime and don't forget to review them here on Yelp. read more

First & foremost, the outdoor seating is beautiful! Patio furniture & fireplaces made the dining area very cozy--even during winter evenings. I was pleasantly surprised when the food turned out to be delicious; restaurants with an emphasis on decor tend to lack in cooking, but that wasn't the case here. My grilled cheese with extras & peppermint tea were nicely prepared, & the staff were conversational and kind. Fireside Cafe is a hidden gem. Came here today with my girlfriend. Super cute spot, small selection of food but I got the Açaí berry smoothie and the Greek yogurt parfait. Both were delicious and filling. I love the atmosphere the most. There are indoor and outdoor seating available; lots to choose from and hang out for a while. There is an adjustable flame fireplace even in one of the spots. There is also a play area for the kids to spend time in and there are chairs right in front of it as well. I recommend visiting this place while it's not super hot out and maybe even taking a visit here in the evening to sit by the fire. I will be back again, had a great experience! read more

Wow! My super Mom brought me here today & I couldn't wait to leave this review. We loved this place! Super easy order window, in a BEAUTIFUL setting, the large outdoor area has nice selection of seating areas for both larger groups & tucked away corners for a quiet lunch. With a mix of covered & semi shaded spots. The fancy outdoor patio with beautiful fire places & swinging seats. Really nice. Then we got our avocado toast & my-o-my, it was the best I've ever had. Fresh...delicious..& bursting with flavor, I don't know what the drizzle on it was,but it really took this to another level. Iced Chia latte was good, just a tad too sweet, so def a dessert drink I can't wait to go back, & next time I'll take pictures. read more

Food I can't deny, is very good, I had egg sausage and cheese on croissant. The coffee is okay. I started out giving this one star, because they think the drive thru, you should order while you're driving down the road, look up their number and order by phone or online (don't know how you doing that while you're driving) , or us it only local people that can use the drive thru.... Because, if I'm supposed to order before I leave my home, 40 minutes away, I can see it being left by the cold window on a 34 degree morning, just like the pictures I posted, of someone's coffee and food getting soggy and cold sitting there waiting for them. What I gather, this is the owners idea??? I couldn't even imagine. He has to see a drop off since no one can order from the window anymore (how dumb).......twice I've come through, no one at the drive thru, and no one in the dining area. I guess he's got plenty of money to lose.. I know I won't be playing with my phone while I'm driving down the street.....for no lazy coffee shop that doesn't know how to manage their driv we thru window.... read more

Love the atmosphere at fireside and their coffee is the best! The also sell the best macaroons, Altho they aren't advertised well or on their menu! I am giving them 3 stars because when I was there last week there was a 30 minute wait for 1 iced London fog. Do not visit here if you are in a hurry! read more
