Our second time there in a week!! We scored the comfy chairs in front of the fireplace...so cozy!! Another perfect latte and chai tea and this time we ordered breakfast. I wisely chose the Spring Baguette and was truly blown away! Everything about it was perfect from the baguette to the slab of lovely ham with egg and asparagus and something delicately herby. Fast, super-friendly service. Little bistro/ coffee house vibe on Main Street in Denver. My Yelp app directed me to the alley behind. Lots of great breakfast eats, eggs, granola, muffins and baked goods, coffee, with pizzas, paninis, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. Loved my sandwich! I had a Monte Christo with a side of coleslaw. First the M-C. Large pieces of hand cut ham and Turkey. Awesome. Great flavor with the raspberry mayo all hot and melted on the pretzel roll, And then the coleslaw, creamy with carrots apples and grapes. Oh my. I forgot my wallet but was fortunately able to order lunch as the accept Apple Pay. Lunch was $15 with tip, no drink. Every time I come here they give me eggs. I thought this was a mistake at first but after the 7th? Time it's starting to feel intentional. When I order I make it clear I cannot have eggs. I repeat it. They acknowledge it. Then I get an egg sandwich or eggs added to my order. I last ordered a sweet potato burrito and I get an egg sandwich.So I go and return the burrito and they could give me an egg sandwich again. Months ago (most previous time I tried them again) I ordered a vegetable wrap and they put eggs in it. I don't know what game this is but it's going to get you into trouble after you cause an allergic reaction. We had a party of 17- they were very accommodating! The drinks and food were good. I can speak for everyone's meals as our party was so large. I had the frozen coffee, that was delicious. I ate the Steak & Brie Panini- I wasn't a big fan as the bourbon sauce was very over powering! I would go back if in town and try other options. They have lots of wraps, and salads. Another excellent cafe and eatery! Neat atmosphere in an older home along the mainstream of Denver. Several rooms to eat, with local craft vendors' items decorating the interior. Fireplace, wood-beam ceilings, and hard- wood floors make the interior cozy. And yes, its namesake, the courtyard outside is a peaceful place to eat in warmer weather. Full range of expected baked goods, breakfast offerings, and lunch fare. Personal favorite is the "On the Boarder" wrap, with eggs, black beans, salsa, banana peppers, cheese, and sausage. Wife enjoyed today's quiche offering, and baked oatmeal rounded out the meal. Portion size- at least for the wrap- is very generous. Coffee is provided by SQ1 Coffee, and their "Dawn Chaser" blend is fantastic. Decaf and a third blend are also available. Staff is great. Driving to Maple Grove Raceway recently we detoured thru Denver in hunt of breakfast. From my stomping days here in my youth I knew there wasn't a lot of dining options. Denver is a sleeply, conservative town. We were pleasantly surprised with the help of Yelp to find Courtyard on Main. Housed in a bed and breakfast the café is open to the public and serves the quality and artisan prepared food one would expect from a bed and breakfast meal. Delicious pastries teased us from glass displays, and while the menu was small it was unique in its rustic offerings. If you're looking for a plain Jane eggs, bacon, hash brown or pancake breakfast this isn't for you. However if you want pancakes they had a few with a modern twist incorporating new flavors and fruits in season. The inside was very much modern farmhouse chic and spacious. There were a few rooms to dine in and all the seating was spaced far apart. Everything appeared exceptionally clean. The young staff were friendly but did fumble around a bit but ultimately worked well together. While my breakfast wrap wasn't the best I've ever had, I immediately regretted ordering something so safe and ordinary. Hubby had a breakfast sandwich and was still hungry but he's the type that orders two breakfast platters at diners so it was to be expected. He's a simple guy and likes simple, large portion meals. I, on the other hand appreciate when ordinary dishes are transformed with the addition of unexpected ingredients. Next time I'll order one of their signature dishes. Four stars for the vibe, cleanliness, and upscale breakfast offerings. Street parking right out front and tranquil outdoor seating in season. I'm conflicted. Staff is great; friendly, attentive, etc. Food IS good, but they microwave their eggs. They also microwave their hash browns (which makes for a mushy, unappealing hash brown). It appears that all cooking is done on a panini press and there is no grill. PLEASE get a grill! read more

While i wasn't the one eating the sandwiches, the recipient was really impressed with the variety and commented on how good each was. Had a southwestern salad with a bland dressing. Buffalo chicken pizza was microwaved & didn't even have the green onions on them like it was described in the menu.. This is a great café for both lunch and breakfast, as well as coffee and treats! The staff here is so friendly and accommodating and is really what makes this place so special. The coffee is really great quality: I had the creme brûlée latte when I was here for lunch the other day, and a Café Aut Lait today, both very tasty. The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy but not cramped, and the food is tasty and fresh. My only minor complaint is that the portions are a little on the small side compared to most regular restaurants(plus I've got a generally large appetite so I'm not sure this is a fair assessment), but as far as a cafe goes, the food is light but satisfying. My sister and I shared a sausage, egg and cheese Asiago bagel sandwich and a Tuscan morning breakfast sandwich(not pictured), as well as a red velvet swirl muffin. The bagel sandwich was our favorite, a classic but well executed with a scrumptious bagel. The Tuscan morning sandwich was good as well, but we just felt it needed a little more flavor. The muffin was great too, not as sweet as a cupcake, but still satisfied our sweet tooth. We also tried their house made almond milk which was pretty different than store bought, but very enjoyable. Also, when I was here the other day we tried the browned butter bird sandwich, the monte cristo sandwich, and the Buffalo bleu salad, the salad and monte cristo were my favorite! We should have left then. We ordered and eventually they brought to us again no masks and it was cold and missing something.
