These great people looked at it and researched and talked to Subaru and Subaru said the part was $900 or replace the transmission for $6000 and he said he really didn't think that would fix the problem, rather than doing major repairs that might not work he was honest and didn't take advantage of me. He had my car for 4 days, did research at home during his off time and only charged me $75. The first mechanic I took it to looked at it for an hour and charged me $60. I LOVE these people!!!! We asked what was wrong and were told it was a snap ring in the overdrive but their policy was to overhaul the whole thing. We took it to another mechanic who fixed it for $200. The issue was a $75 part plus labor. I question a place that would intentionally deceive an elderly lady on a fixed income for personal gain.
