While it is almost an hour to drive to get there, they do have a great snack stand and pro Shop. The rental skates are actually halfway decent. The team locker rooms are also very well heated and compared to some other locker rooms I've seen are actually relatively pleasant. They still stink like hockey players though. The stands do have radiant heaters overhead but it is cold as hell in there so if you're going to go watch a hockey game there or your kid practice do yourself a favor and dress like you're going to go hang out outside for a couple of hours because you will be solidly frozen by the time you leave. Parking is a little confusing as there are probably 40 spots right in front of the the rest of them are around the side and back and you have to trudge all the way back over to the front to go in.

There were only bleachers on one side of the rink, but I'm sure you can stand around the rest of the rink if you wanted to. Came here on a date and ended up having to dodge like 30 of the most vicious, bloodthirsty 5-7 year old little kids after their hockey practice. Aren't 6 year olds supposed to be in bed by 9pm if they've already skated for god knows how long beforehand? The free skate price includes rentals but there's no discounted option to just skate and bring your own nicer, cleaner skates...so there's absolutely no incentive to come here more often to just skate because you're paying the full price regardless.

Our banquets room overlooked the ice skating rink and it was awesome to see people skating while we networked. This building is on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. It is an event space, holds some…read morecampus departments, and it also has a small food court in the main lobby (1st floor). I may have been inside this beautiful building before, last year (2018) when a church held a service here. I did visit again yesterday (5 March 2019) for a free Immigration Law lecture. I had to cancel a free Yelp Ice-Cream event to come to this Immigration discussion (yes, my career means a-lot to me)...haha. ENVIRONMENT -- This is an environmentally friendly building. It has been awarded with a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold status from the U.S. Green Building Council. STUDYING -- This building is actually opened 24 hours so students can stay up all night studying in here. You do need a Case student ID to enter between the hours of 11pm - 7am. There are tables and chairs on the main floor which is also where the food court is. This may not be a good area to get work done because it tends to get noisy but I'm sure after 9pm, it quiets down since the food court will be closed by then. There is free wifi as well so just connect to the network. I believe the network name is "Case" or something to that effect. Overall, the architecture of this building (both outside and inside) is awesome. Stop by and visit if you are in the area. The experience brings you close to the Browns players in a way that an actual game might not. It was fun to hear the fans on the bleachers cheering at a catch or a perfect pass. While the crowd grew, it was still never overwhelming and overflowing. Bring your kids!

I visited Breakforth Studio for a sunset event. The space is super bright and lets in the best…read morenatural light through its large windows. This is a perfect photo studio and event space. It's super clean and raw while still feeling cozy. The studio is located inside a large older warehouse and it's a bit of a maze to get to the actual space, but not a big deal and the directions are clear and easy. This would be a great space for a fun and creative dinner party.

It can be rented out to photographers and other creative individuals who need to host an event. From the owner's own words (Sharon and Tony Hughes) - "Years ago, we had a vision of offering a space that we could share with other creatives to help foster inspiration as well as a place we could host and practice hospitality. MOTHERS in BLACK AND WHITE, SPECIAL EXHIBIT -- This special exhibit was shown in Cleveland (Ohio) in October 2021 and in Chicago (Illinois) in November 2021. I really enjoyed visiting this exhibit which showed images of black mothers with their children in black and white colour. The people represented live in Cleveland and Chicago. I enjoyed viewing the image of Justin Bibb and his mother, then, in October 2021, the mayoral candidate but now the Cleveland mayor who was sworn-in as mayor in January 2022. All images really showed some of the joy, hope, and struggle that many blacks in America have faced and continue to face.
