If you love to lift some weights - there is a third floor which has a dedicated space for that. After my workouts, I loved to go to a swimming pool. This Rec Center is definitely something I miss. I wish I lived closer to Downtown and in that case, I would definitely buy a pass to this fitness center. GO VIKINGS!!!

Once you enter through the front door, you will see the gym upstairs but there isn't a straight way to get there because the elevators and stairs go to different parts. I spent about 15 mins being lost, confused, and almost irritated. An employee tried to help me but their instructions didn't help me at all...LOL. Anyway, shout out to the maintenance man for coming through and saving the day! We went on a Friday night when they played the Red Sox. We went an hour before opening pitch and the stadium was already absolutely packed. Then, we saw the sign and realized why there were already 20,000+ people here 60 minutes before the game. $2 Miller Lite until 1st pitch and $1 hot dogs all game. What in the world!?!?!?!? The prices here haven't changed much since 1994. Actually this was a special Friday night promotion, but wow what a deal. The only place you'll see beers chugged faster than at Progressive Field is inside of a frat house. I will say the concourses were very tight mostly because thousands of men where chugging beers and not moving. However, once we got to our seats it didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house. The stadium could use more up escalators to the nose bleed, but it was ok. Tons of fireworks after the game. Easy to walk back home to the Hyatt Regency. Highly recommend a baseball game if you're in Cleveland.

The stadium was built in 1994 making it #9 in the oldest baseball stadiums in the country. It's also the smallest with a capacity of around 34,800. It has the largest video board in the league which is an absolute enormous 59x229 foot rectangle out in left field. The stadium itself is right in downtown Cleveland so it's super easy to walk to, which we did from our hotel. This means, though, that there is very little parking near the stadium so no tailgating culture here. Food at the stadium was typically expensive. The view, even from the top, was good. Very passionate fans. All around good experience and a nice stadium.

INDOOR TENNIS (1/5 rating) -- I recently visited in January 2025 with a new friend. It is $36 to rent a court for an hour. Upon entering, I realized that the facility needs some serious repair, mainly the roof that is tearing apart. The roof of the indoor tennis courts is degrading fast. Pieces of the roof are falling off unto the court surfaces. Before I arrived to play tennis, my friend told me that she asked a tennis staff member if the facility plans to update and fix the room but the staff member said no. That is surprising. For safety reasons, the roof should be fixed. Management doesn't appear to care about the tennis facility and it is unclear why this is the case. Perhaps they focus all their attention on their indoor soccer facility, who knows! We arrived around 6pm on a weekday evening. There were only 2 other people playing tennis together when My friend and I arrived so it was nice that the courts were not very busy. Although the tennis courts were not busy, there were people walking around the park just outside of the tennis courts enclosure. . The park has a playground for kids and there is a grassy area for maybe softball, baseball, or football. There apparently is a pool at the park too but I don't remember seeing one because I am writing this review over a year and a half later. TENNIS (hard court) -- The park has 2 pickleball courts and 4 tennis courts. My friend and I played tennis on one of the courts for over an hour. The surface is hard court so not clay or grass court surface. Playing on the hard court surface was good. The courts are definitely well used and not new but the tennis balls still bounced off well. The park could use some benches because I hardly saw any during my October 2025 visit. Overall, I had a fun time playing tennis here. I take the dog down here about once a week. It's blocks from my Lakewood home over the freeway. It's pretty well maintained and is in probably the safest neighborhood in the city of Cleveland. Lots of parking and only blocks from Giant Eagle or the Rocky River reservation.

They do a good job on production of the game, try to keep fans interested with promos, mascot, music, and giveaways. I enjoy this smaller D1 arena, has a fun cozy feel and KSU does deserve the support.
