LOCATION -- This is located directly across the street from the Bay Village library branch of Cuyahoga County Public libraries. From the map, it didn't look as if these courts were connected to Cahoon Memorial Park but once I arrived, I did see a park right nearby which includes a playground. TENNIS COURTS/TENNIS HITTING WALL -- There are four tennis courts here on a hard surface. They appear to be well maintained. I enjoyed playing tennis here with my friends. There is also a tennis wall on the back of one of the courts so if you have no one to play with, you can always hit with the wall. There are benches right outside the courts with dust bins (trash cans) too. I recommend visiting these tennis courts because they are well maintained. In addition, if you live on the west side of Cleveland, then take the scenic route to these courts. I drove down Lake Avenue for a majority of my drive and passing the beautiful homes along the lake while seeing the lake as I drove was amazing. The lake views are never a dull sight. This communication included details on the location of the tournament, required arrival times, and official links to the tournament schedule. In addition to this, Spirit Volleyball Club wished the teams luck on their official Facebook channel on (https://www.facebook.com/SpiritVolleyball) (screenshots available). As per the information and instructions provided by Spirit Volleyball Club, the families of these team members made plans to be present in Maumee, Ohio early the morning of March 2nd. Many of these families booked and paid for hotel rooms in advance, and made the trip from the Cleveland area to Maumee on March 1st, to ensure their daughters would be in attendance at the venue on time, as specified by Spirit Volleyball Club. The morning of the tournament, chaos ensued as word made its way through GroupMe that Spirit Volleyball Club's owner, Ryan Varndell, had been informed via a January 26th email (screenshots available) by Maumee's director, Zach Lewis, that the tournament had been cancelled. This was NOT COMMUNICATED to the coaches by Ryan Varndell, and therefore none of the parents or team members had any idea. As a result, everyone made the trip to Maumee, many staying overnight, only to arrive to an empty parking lot early that morning. I, as a single parent, spent over $250 between hotel, food, gas and tolls for the four-hour round trip drive. I (as well as many other parents) have subsequently reached out to Ryan Varndell as well as Stephanie Skacan (Assistant Director) several times with ZERO response.

They can accommodate between four and six volleyball courts. There isn't a lot of parking and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. They're pretty strict about what you can bring in with you. As far as volleyball is concerned, the ceilings are a bit low, which affects play negatively with balls bouncing around in the rafters. Otherwise, the volleyball courts are very nice.

Floor is soaking wet. Players sliding even by walking. Ban this place from playing sports until they bring it up to code! There are a couple bathrooms, so you won't have to wait in line for that. There are at least five indoor volleyball courts, basketball courts, baseball batting cages, four sand volleyball courts, four bocce ball courts, weights, boxing ring, snack bar, and bar. There's lots to do here! The facility is a reclaimed factory turned volleyball mecca. They serve hot dogs, chicken tenders, nachos, sandwiches, pizza, and other items. But the sand volleyball court, bar, and ambience is the most interesting part of this place. We've been playing on the local volleyball circuit for over four years and have somehow missed this place. Today was our first tournament here and it was pretty nice.

Therefore I took my first lesson with Brad. Brad spent time getting to know my swing over the phone and even had me send him videos of my swing before my lesson. After my 45 minute lesson, I left feeling comfortable with the progress we made and confident that it will translate to the golf course. Brad made subtle changes and tweaks to my swing and did not try to reinvent the wheel. In 45 minutes I noticed that my distance was coming back.
