    Our Painting
    Evelyn A.

I came here last night with my bf to celebrate our 2 years together. I spoke to Julie before coming to the class and she was so helpful and sweet. She answered all my questions and was great to speak to. I couldn't ask for a better date night when we arrived to class. Laurie was our teacher and she was great and a pleasure to have host us. For two people who are not painters, our painting came out so nice. All thanks to the help of our teacher of course!

What an excellent experience I had, the staff and instructor were kind and funny and very helpful, they made the day very relaxed! I left with a great painting that I actually hung in my house and I would love to go back again someday !!! Best part is u get to have some wine and paint all at the same time !!! Who wouldn't love that haha

I've been to quite a few painting places and this one is by far the best one I've ever been to. We had a private party where we had our own seperate room. The two girls instructing us were SO thorough and patient, willing to help make sure our paintings came out nice. I will definitely be back for another wine and painting night!

I've been here 3 times and have always had a great time. Even with no painting skills you'll leave with a piece of art you'll want to hang up in your home. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they feature one of my favorite artists. Leonid Alfrev. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time here! The instructor was really fun and patient as she showed us step by step on how to create the painting. I had so much fun here and will be bringing friends to come back to try other paintings

I had a blast my sister and cousin. We painted snowmen at night. I thought mine came out well. The instructor was very knowledgeable and the music was great too! It's definitely a better way to have a fun night with friends than just another dinner.

This is so much fun. You don't need to be an artist or know how to paint. At first I was scared but excited too. Then as the instructor for the night, Amanda, explained every single little step, I started to feel relaxed, plus the wine helped too. They have helpers going around to assist you. They also have screens displaying every thing the instructor is doing. The instructor was AMAZING. The was encouraging and went a good pace. They also had music playing in the background which was nice. It's BYOB and the provide ice, wince glasses, corkscrew, bottle opener and snacks. They also can keep you liquor cold. In addition, they give you a break have way through the painting session so you can relax and mingle. This is a must do!

If you haven't done this yet.....ya gotta go!! It's SO much fun!!!!!! I can't compare uptown with other wine and paint places, but I can say they are nice, patient, organized and supply you with everything you need for a fun night!!! So had to believe us "non-artists" leave with a beautiful piece of art.

    So cute!

Went last night with a friend and painted Blue Moon. We had a blast! It's so true that they all come out looking great. Can't wait to go back again. Our basement should be finished winter/spring and I have a feeling it will be full of art that I actually painted! So much fun. Great music, very helpful artists. Looking forward to a date night event with my honey.

This place was great! Was able to make a beautiful picture and enjoy my favorite glass(es) of wine. The instructors were great! All in all an awesome girls night out!

    Starry night over Hogwarts
    Lauren S.

I had never been to a paint and sip class before last night and I really enjoyed the experience. My cousin and I went together and had a lot of fun, esp with the Hogwarts plus Starry Night theme! I don't think either of us were too impressed with our own painting skills, but they did come out somewhat resembling the original. I will say the seating was a little snug and the room was packed, which was fun but also a bit distracting. The instructor was easy to follow when she painted, but sometimes she explained how to do a detail a few seconds too late. But for the most part she was pretty clear and easy to follow. It was also nice that another employee would come help you out if there was something you were stuck on. I would definitely go back again for a fun night out.

You really don't need to come with anyone to have a good time here. Trust me. We booked a 3 p.m. session online, and it was a 10/10 experience. Our instructor, Dalton, was full of energy, super friendly, funny and explained everything perfectly, making the painting process enjoyable! He also played music throughout the class, and his playlist was a hit! It really set the mood and made the experience even more fun. One of the best parts? You can bring your own food, drinks, and even wine! They provide wine glasses, plates, and cups for convenience, and if you forget something to drink, they sell sodas in the back. Plus, there's a store directly across the street where you can purchase a bottle of wine if that's your thing. The class lasted a little over two hours, giving us plenty of time to enjoy and create. Parking on a Sunday was easy with plenty of street parking, but I can see it getting busier during peak hours. Overall, Pinot's Palette is more than just a painting class--it's a whole experience! Even if you think you can't paint or draw, trust me, you can. Just go for it!

The class was fun, and set to some fun music, and the instruction (while fast paced) still offered opportunities to ask questions and seek help. Would recommend!

Internal stakeholder management issues notwithstanding (non-vendor side), the experience was wonderful from top to bottom! Having never been here, nor painted pottery since I was in 7th grade, I called Artsy to find out what to expect. Stephanie who picked up the phone didn't have the answer to one of my questions (it was her first day!), but found out and called me back right away. We walked in on a weekend morning. Sylvia, another lovely employee, greeted us and explained the process. The interior is clean, zen, cheerful, colorful, neat and well-organized. My child chose a ceramic and colors, Sylvia laid out the paints, and the père-fils duo got down to business while I settled in a nearby cafe to get some work done. (There is actually a cafe in the back of the store, but it was closed at the time as I'm told they're soon moving to a larger space up Main St.) Although FamCo's senior team member reported that the junior associate gave up halfway and significant intervention was required to help execute his vision and meet the project goal, the assignment was completed with pride, and turned out to be a perfect rainy day activity. Prices vary but most projects are under $35 at the time of writing, more for larger pieces, and includes everything (ceramic, painting, kiln firing). I wish there were some more choices but my child was happy with what he selected. The finished object would be ready to pick up in 10 days, and the senior official in charge was responsible for monitoring the schedule and ensuring timely retrieval of the gift. However, two weeks and an alarming question later ("so when are we supposed to get it?"), it was clear the directive had not been followed, and the Chairman of SteerCo was urged to "come along" on Mother's Day morning to support the final step and ensure deliverables are achieved within deadline. Once again, Sylvia met us as we picked up the finished project - which looks quite much nicer and different in its glazed and completed form than the raw material - and even kindly offered to take our family photo holding it. Artsy also offers workshops & classes, kids & adult paint or pottery parties, summer camp, and mobile events. Whether you want to paint something for yourself, make a gift for someone else, or just find something fun and crafty to do, I highly recommend them!

It was ok. There was only one person working (our "designated party host") who also was attending to multiple other painting customers and others who wanted smoothies made. She was overworked and overwhelmed. Another mother and I wound up helping the girls in the party with their slime, going so far as to grab the materials needed, hand them out, and help mix and give directions. There were other customers who even arrived, waited at the front door for 5 minutes and then turned around and left due to no one being able to acknowledge them. Our party host did the best she could given the constraints. We've been to many other birthday parties here before and we did not have the same great experience hosting ours. I received an email a few days after the party asking for my feedback, which I filled out honestly. Never heard anything back. ‍ We will return to paint some pottery, but won't ever have a birthday party here.

The many options for bases include an ashtray, menorah, picture frame, plates or larger tray. Other more advanced options include weaving colors together and wind charms. Each station has a glass cutter and pliers so you can shape the precut glass. Either goggles or just wearing you're glasses is required.
