I was told my tooth could have chipped much worse. This office didn't perform my original root canal, but I've been a patient here for several years for routine care. I was surprised that the need for crowns on these teeth was never mentioned or discussed during my visits. The staff has always been kind, but I wish there had been more proactive communication about protecting previously treated teeth so I could have avoided an unexpected emergency. I recently had a bad experience at another office that reminded me how much I enjoy this place and their professionalism as well. It's just kindness. Dr Collaizey Is really a wonderful guy. He makes you feel like he genuinely cares about your teeth and their health and how it affects you as well as your budget. Everything feels well explained and not like you're getting ripped off. I think it's pretty rare that you find a dentist that you enjoy going to and I think this would be my first review of one, but their office definitely deserves it. All around just a wonderful place to go to I think.

Then you will need to have an emergency removal. This happened to my daughter. We had to rush her to a place that would be an emergency removal of the abscessed tooth. CROWN is not molded in their office so they fit you with a temporary. What this means is you will have to come back for another visit to get the real one on. This happened with me and the real one was not molded correctly, so I had to go back to the office again

The dental hygienist however was inexperienced and unsure of herself. She spent 30 minutes poking my gums and telling how much I need a deep cleaning (I was already planning it for the fall) and selling me on additional fluoride treatments. I know this is a business and she is pressured to make more sales, so I tried to let it go...but then the actual 'cleaning' took 10 minutes. Minimal attention to detail and stains and a quick floss. That and the receptionist who sits closest to the door needs a new job where she does not have to interact with anyone. Barista's at the Caribou across the street have less attitude. In the end the place is clean and the dentists are good. When I complained about the lack of a cleaning they said they would not charge me for the visit. Unfortunately they seem to care more about how much they can charge you than giving you good service. Scare tactics/worse case scenarios to push more and more procedures leaves me feeling distrustful. The crazy thing is I need a lot more dental work and I will be spending a lot of money at a dentist over my lifetime.

I have an extensive dental history as a child and I was extremely nervous to change dentists due to…read morehome relocation. Dr. Bender and his whole team made the transition seamless so far. He and his team are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable in the field. Dr. Bender recommended having a cavity filling / replacement done of my old silver fillings. I've had the silver fillings since I was a kid and I was hesitant on getting work done especially with a new dentist. Upon my request, Dr. Bender took the time to explain everything that he recommended over email and the reasoning for his recommendations. It made sense so I went for my replacement appointment. As a child, I've had some aggressive dentists - but this time, I barely felt the needle for the numbing injection. The filling was seamless and I even got to watch Netflix during the appointment! The appointment was done in about 50 mins for one filling. It was very quick and it turns out I was nervous for no reason at all. :) Not to mention, the new white filling looks great. The office definitely lives up to the "Modern" name and I noticed they are currently working on renovating other parts of the office space. Everything was clean and well kept. I'm thankful to have found a dentist office near me.
