Chris is the absolute best; I feel so comfortable catching up with her about life during my visits, and it's astounding to me that she can remember all the details of our convos 6 months later. That's how you know this business and the team really care about their patients and see them and respect them as real people. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire experience is a pleasure, something I imagine many don't say about the dentist. From check in and the friendly receptionist/admin team, to the hygienists and Dr. Brenney, I've never had a more painless experience at the dentist. The friendliness is a welcome respite from how loaded everything feels (literally) outside and the staff truly seems engaged and interested in your life. Cleanings are a breeze and Dr. Brenney is a true professional and extremely good at what he does. They explain things to me in simple terms and their pricing is very reasonable. Honestly, I can say without a drop of hesitation that they more than earn a 5 star review. Dr. Franco put a crown on an upper back tooth. I had pain that did not resolve so I returned to…read moreher and she made an adjustment. She said if I continued having pain to return in a couple of months. It was clear that same day that the problem was not resolved. I didn't want to wait a couple months so I found a different dentist. He made 4 adjustments over the period of a year, and I continued to have pain. Finally, he said he needed to remove the crown to see what was going on. It turned out that Dr. Franco had left decay under the crown. The tooth was very irritated so he put a temporary on with the hope it would quiet down. It did not. Ultimately, he had to pull it. I wrote to Dr Franco and asked her to return the money that I had paid for the crown, and to pay to replace the tooth. She returned the money for the crown, but she did not pay to replace the tooth. The letter she sent with the refund said "as a courtesy" she was refunding the money. No apology, no acknowledgment of the decay she left under the crown, and no acknowledgment that I lost the tooth.

Jodi on the front desk staff has been rude, cold, and passive aggressive. Jodi gets very defensive and blunt when I would verify my billing questions with her. The billing situation is bad, they add credit card fees, steep no show fees inside of 48 hours, and don't work with you on bills. Jodi is always incredibly passive aggressive that I did not partake in their text reminders, because when I did I was bombarded with text blasts. I strongly suggest that anyone who goes here double check every line of their bill. When I asked to speak directly with the dentist about my concerns, Jodi brushed me off and refused to connect me, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. With a standing disagreement on one bill, and the inability to speak directly to the owner of the business, they dropped me as a patient within less than a month of being seen. Also if you're a parent you should know they take pictures of all the kids that go to their practice and post them for anybody to see, I feel as though that is not a safe practice for the local neighborhood. The whole experience still leaves me feeling taken advantage of and completely disrespected. I would never recommend this place to anyone if they have to talk to Jodi. If you care about being treated decently and not getting nickel and dimed for everything, stay away from Brimhall Dentistry.

This office is not huge so it's not a factory style dental office that will move you in and out fast to just make a buck. This clinic gives you a good feeling the minute you enter. It has a calm type of Aura which is nice when having dental work done. The people are all friendly and remembered my name when I returned on a follow up appointment. I was super impressed by the technology in this office outstanding! The dentist knows what he is doing and had no problems getting me numb I didn't even feel the injection. I have been there 4 visits in the past year. The front desk people are wonderful but there is a lot of churn and I have had 3 dentists in the past 8 months. The others have left. My issue is that I came for a routine cleaning today and interacted with a technician who told me that I needed x-rays. I mentioned that I had a full set of panoramic x-rays just 7monthas ago, and have had 2 panoramic CTscans in the last 2 months. He said that he discussed it with the dentist (Thorson, the owner of the practice) and she insisted I needed more. I asked to slack with her directly and that was refused. So, I was not allowed to speak with the provider about this and if I refused x-rays, they would not treat me. So I left. I explained that I had full x-rays just 7 mos ago and the ADA has rescinded their guidance to have x-rays every year. Sooo, I feel this place doesn't care about the individual (obviously) and only the money (for insisting on non necessary x-rays) and refusing to talk to me. Really? I should be able to speak directly with the provider. Stay away from this place!

Have had good experience with her as well as the hygenists and the receptionist (Robin). Robin and Dr. Stead were able to accomodate me during the very next day they were open to re-cement a cap, which I appreciated. Dr. Stead does give off an aura of caring and my impression is that she does a thorugh job during exams. I have always felt that choosing a dentist is sort of like what a condemed man feels when choosing his method of execution (some states do offer a choice) but I've come to believe that if one has to make the choice I've made a good one with Dr. Stead, though we do differ on the necessity of routine X-rays which, because of the heightened brain cancer risk, small as it may be,I will not be getting anymore. I mean, I used to go to the very first Park Dental that was in Brooklyn Center growing up and then that chain just blew up. With that blowing up(went to the Grand location), I never had the same dentist or friendly service or care that I used to receive. It was nice but it felt like a factory and when you are all up in there, I kinda want to know you. And now I do. Paul is awesome and the staff at the office are alway top-notch. I get my reminder calls and scheduling is always accommodating to what my work schedule is. You need someone in Highland, the Mendes Family Dentistry is the place to go.
