Having read some of the reviews before arriving, I was bracing for this to be a less than pleasant experience & I couldn't have been more wrong! We were greeted very pleasantly & while driving to our site, we thought the sites looked quite nice. We stayed in Site #44 & it was level (unlike some of the reviews that said the sites were terribly undeveloped); we did find that the breaker on the power pole didn't work & we called right away & within a very short time, a really pleasant maintenance guy came, discovered he needed to replace the breaker, went right away & got it & we were able to setup not long after! We walked the entire property & found a lovely pool, a very cute putt-putt & lovely flowers & well cared for plants/trees everywhere. They have a really nice gift shop & game room & they sell Hunts Bros Pizzas that you can pick up. We had good water pressure & lovely views from our site, with no close by neighbors. We have been RV'ing for 13 years & have seen all types of RV parks--this one definitely does not deserve any of the bad reviews it has gotten, in my opinion! read more

I count our lucky blessings that we were able to find any place on memorial day weekend as we travel back to Ohio. We arrived Friday approximately 5 PM after a long down the road due to a few stops and heavy traffic, not to mention the terrain, after departing St. George, South Carolina. We were happy that they offered a military discount. Overall, this is a very beautiful park. Extremely well-kept! Yes, the spaces are a little tight if 100% filled however, I certainly didn't see anywhere, as mentioned by another reviewer, a sewer hook up 36 inches from a fire pit. They also offer a nice little café and sundry shop in their office. My wife and I had some of their breakfast pizza as well as a lunch pizza and chicken wings. All three were absolutely delicious! There is a small pool for children as well as a splash area. Additionally, there's a rather novel putt putt golf and gem mining area. In addition to RV spaces there are small apartments and large apartments. There are a number of long-term residents at the majority are short term rental. We liked it so much. We bookmarked it for a future stop if we're passing through the area. Keep up the great work! read more

We went for the rollercoaster which was SO FUN! The people there are so kind too. It was wonderful and well worth it!

MISLEADING ADVERTISING. We travel a lot and thought we did our due diligence at research. We also like to give back to local community so we steer clear from corporations and chain restaurants. Pros: grounds are clean, potential with cabins, near highway(literally next to it) if that's important. Cons: Sites are TINY, it's the same size as spot for your camper. Your neighbors sewer line is 36" from your fire pit. That's disgusting. If we had a neighbor with a pull out it would've reached the fire pit, my husband pointed this out and the guy says not to worry they aren't filling that spot. Advertises a pool buts it's only 3.5 ft deep. Your website should say shallow pool since this is not a standard size (and pics they show you can't read depth). Enjoy walking up a steep hill to get to it. We tried mini golf three different times during business hours and each time they had a sign saying they had to close. Gem mining was out of order the whole time. THERE IS NO SHADE besides what your camper creates. Fishing pond has only minnows!! What a JOKE!!! I pointed out inconsistency to management and wanted a refund for remaining days so we could stay somewhere else. We were mislead. They have a no cancel policy they say they send you AFTER you confirm booking. Makes no sense, yet the terms and conditions that I signed had NONE of that. I was told they were keeping our money $600, but we where free to leave at any time. WOW. Poor business practice. There are soooo many other options! I encourage you to read the responses this place gives to negative reviews. There is definitely some passive-aggressive gaslighting!!! read more

Checked in and only had half our power working. Called the after hours and left a message. Susie responded within minutes and Rick showed up about 5 minutes late to repair and test the new breaker. He was very polite and quickly fixed the problem, making sure we were all set. Was a great experience!!! read more

Incredibly RUDE staff. The business owner is so condescending not only to guests but to anyone leaving a negative review. The campground wasn't awful, but the sour attitude of everyone there along with the backlash faced when going to management with simple concerns ruined the trip. Not having clean bathrooms and most amenities being closed throughout the WEEK we stayed there are valid issues and should not just be brushed off. Just as a warning, the resort changes and enforces new rules AFTER completing booking and full payment upfront. These rules include a no cancellation/ no refunds policy regardless of circumstances, and breed restrictions for pets. Beware of this, as again, they are not listed anywhere on the website before booking. And as an FYI to the business owner who leaves snotty responses through google reviews, just because the name of the person leaving the review wasn't a name you have for a booking; people do stay with friends and family. You need to be more appreciative of the business you receive and more mindful of how you treat others. This is such a beautiful area, please avoid this site and stay somewhere much cleaner and at a more reasonable price. Do yourself the favor. What a waste of a good site. read more

They have the best resort in West Virginia with most polite and helpful staff. We couldn't ask for better people to be running this RV Resort. We travel all across the country and stay in RV parks or Resorts and this one I would recommend over all the ones we have stayed at. They are expanding and adding more and more to this resort so if you are looking for somewhere to stay this is the one.The have lots of things to do for young kids like miniature golf, swimming pool, and mining which is so awesome and the kids loved it. read more

Today April 22nd we booked and site for June cause some friends of ours was going to be there, but 3 hours later same day! we found out they told me the wrong month. So I called to cancel and they kept $25 because I was canceled! We can't go in July. I just don't feel like that was right it's not like I was inconvenience anyone from getting that site!! poor management policy!! read more

We spent two nights here. The park is kept exceptionally clean and the staff was very welcoming. I would stay here again if I'm ever passing through WV. We didn't realize until we were leaving that there is a state park right down the road. I'm sure it would be worth checking out. read more

I am so excited to see the Princeton area get something new and "different"! As a native to WV and also from the Princeton area, I often travel through and am proud to say this is a nice new hidden gem! The grounds and facilities are fantastic and cater to all ages! With a playground, pool, mini golf, etc. there is no shortage of activities for folks just passing through or looking to stay a few nights! I personally enjoyed the on site restaurant and menu options which includes a "man vs food" challenge, so if you want to avoid the crowds of town while still enjoying a nice meal, I highly recommend the Campfire Grill! I look forward to frequenting the establishment and seeing continued growth as they expand with more cottages and offerings. read more

This is a beautiful Place for camping with a ton of Amenities! There's so much for the whole family to enjoy! Our kids love camping and love staying here! It's conveniently located about 2.5miles from the interstate and less than 10 minutes from the city of Princeton. They also regularly hosts events and special activities! I happened to do some winter camping at Brush Creek Falls and the temps went from 58 degrees to 20 degrees in less than 8 hours. Of course I didn't have a heated hose and the lines froze ( I wasn't the only one so I was saved from some level of embarrassment). Chris, the owner got on it right away. His staff and crew responded within 20 minutes and replaced the spicket. By midday I was skiing with my son. This place is great, clean, terrific amenities for spring, summer and fall. We came to ski and didn't plan on all this. Also, I had a flat tire and Chris lent me his tools and an air compressor. This place is terrific. Staff is great too. read more

Fairly new campground, some premium pull thrus, full hook ups, not many trees good for satellite dish, but our satellites had no local channels, good wi-fi. I'm not sure who cleans your bathhouses but the shower in the front one wasn't cleaned Wednesday or Thursday. Someone did finally put a roll of toilet paper in there on Friday but it was empty since Thursday. This place has a total of 2 showers and 2 toilets for the entire campground to use. So, you'll be battling others to try and use their facilities. The pool was closed when we tried to go up around 6pm then went up there around 8pm since we saw it was open again. That's when we discovered the private party was having a pool party. There was a sign on the gate limiting the amount of guests at the pool but there were at least 3 times the amount of guests at the pool for the private party. My advice would be to let your guests know that other people outside of the campground are able to use the pool as well and not follow the written guidance posted. Instead of the owner apologizing for the issues he stated that we do not come back to the campground. read more
