I brought my 1 1/2 year old to Brushketeers for routine cleaning and had a great experience! All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The waiting area has toys for kids of all ages to play with. We were called in pretty quickly. Once we were called, the area where my son was seen was a play room, which I really really liked and appreciated a lot. They want the younger kids to feel comfortable, so they put them in the play room for their exams/cleanings, and once they get bigger, they get moved to the chairs with the TV's. My son definitely enjoyed the play room and it helped ease any fears he might have been having. I was really happy they thought to create a safe space like that for the younger kids. Dr. Jhawar himself was extremely nice and very comforting towards my son. You can tell he loves his job, genuinely cares, and is very compassionate about working with pediatric patients and making sure they have a great experience. He took the time to be thorough with the exam and explain everything in detail, making sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns. He also offered really great recommendations on how to start incorporating a fun way to get my son to start practicing swishing and spitting. My 2.5 year old has been seeing a pediatric dentist in Redlands and I was looking for one more local as we live in East Highland. I found this dentist on Yelp or Google, forget which one. It looked like a fun place and it's close by so I called to confirm if they accepted our insurance through LLU: Risk Management. Happy to hear that they do! The dental office was clean and decorated nicely for pediatric patients. My son enjoyed playing in the waiting area. When we were taken back, my son was given an opportunity to brush one of the stuffed animals with a huge toothbrush. There was also a stuffed animal in his seat which he clung to. My son was definitely nervous, but I believe he was a bit less nervous than prior visits. Both Dr. J and his staff did a wonderful job of explaining everything. I really appreciated that. At the end he got to pick a toy and he wanted to play in the waiting area a bit longer. Overall a great visit. read more

I met Dr. Jhawar at my 3 yr. old daughter's daycare. He had a table set up at back to school night with some pamphlets and take home goodies. Just recently my daughter had developed a lump in her cheek, so the urgent care Dr. said we needed to visit her dentist. I had not yet taken her to a dentist but I remembered the flyer from Dr. Jhawar that was still on my fridge. I made an appt. and was seen in 3 days. His office is definitely a hidden gem! Not what you would expect before walking through the door. It was clean, the walls were covered in colorful murals and paintings. The waiting area had a few tablets set up with pre-installed games to keep the kiddos occupied while waiting. When we were taken back to the chair there were TVs on the ceilings so my daughter was distracted while the Dr. could work. Dr. Jhawar was very attentive and listened to me describe the issue and did everything he could to determine if it was dental-related. He took X-rays of the problem area, then X-rays of the entire mouth (which was difficult with a 3 yr. old) as well as a visual inspection. He ruled out everything he could think of, showed me the X-rays and explained why it couldn't be an issue originating from her teeth or gums. He even consulted with an oral surgeon he knew very well. The urgent care Dr. we saw the week prior didn't prescribe any medication since my daughter's fever came after she went to urgent care; so before we left, Dr. Jhawar prescribed her an antibiotic to reduce the swelling and start fighting whatever infection it could be until we could see her pediatrician. I am extremely grateful for the time and attention to detail that Dr. Jhawar gave to us during our visit. My daughter left with few little toys and I left with nothing but positive things to say about Brushketeers. Thank you Dr. Jhawar! I have 2 year old twins, one has level 2 Autism as well an oral aversion so she is currently 100% g tube fed. I was very nervous about going to the dentist for her because of a horrible experience at a different office. Brushketeers were so friendly, patient and understanding. They worked with me to meet her at her level. The Dentist was able to look at her teeth and clean them without her throwing up or crying. I experienced Dr. J's quality expertise, compassionate patience & genuine passion for children's dental health at a previous dental office in Riverside. I have been planning on making the switch for quite sometime. Riverside to Highland will be quite the mission, but I'll make a day of it. I honestly don't believe there will be a need for prolonged durations with constant frequent visits overtime. I mean yes to yearly checkups, some issues here & there, but other dental offices hound & add stressful pressure to have unnecessary procedures done on my children. Like drill, drill, drill no thanks-- Dr. J is not like that at all! He naturally stress the importance of preventative dental care to his patients (the children) in a "cool" way that inspires something within them. He truly cares for young children's dental health & it's felt in all aspects of his pediatric dental professionalism. The city of Highland is richly fortunate to have such a profound pediatric dentist in their community. After showing my children pics of Dr. J's office they're looking forward to checking it out. This dental office is great and the doctor works really well with kids. My 2 year old son was not doing good at our previous Dental office. He would get scared and anxious as soon as we walked in and would start screaming and crying as soon as he saw the doctor. After three appointments of that I decided to take a little break and then find a different office. Which leads us to try out this office and I'm so glad we did. The office itself is very clean, high tech,, and welcoming for the kiddos. They have a little coloring station, a wall with sensory gadgets, and a tablet station to help keep the kids entertained while they wait. All the staff was very friendly. My son quickly felt comfortable there. The doctor is very informative which I appreciate and did a great job with my son. My son got through the entire appointment without crying and to my surprise did really good during his cleaning. All around it was a great experience and my son left happy. A good dental office is hard to find, this one was definitely a win for us and will continue to bring my son here. read more

Wow, I'm SO happy I brought my son here! Aesthetically, the office is cute and clean. There's iPads and books for the littles to wait with. The receptionist Mercedes is super sweet. Dr J is super informative, very kind. Definitely there to protect your child's teeth and offer the best, honest advice. Just got my son's tooth pulled and everyone was so helpful and sweet. The ladies in the front were very kind and nice. The dr was very nice and gentle with my son. He took his time and didn't rush the process although it took maybe 10 mins to get done. He was fast but very gentle. They also use up to date technology which I think is better for kids in general. I would recommend if you are looking for a dr that cares and office staff that is nice to come here. read more
