Gangs & no cookies.....?STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION! I am a regular patron of Bruster's, but this location failed to meet my expectations. The presence of individuals who appeared to be gang members and the subpar customer service were concerning. When my elderly mother requested a lid for her to-go ice cream at the drive-thru, Ashley, the cashier, responded dismissively, stating "Next time ask before you get to the window" while shaking her head. My mother was taken aback, and I asked Ashley to clarify her response. Ashley explained that it slows down the drive-thru, but her demeanor was unprofessional. Before I knew it, a group of employees, including Ashley, were at the window. As a parent, I emphasize the importance of excellent customer service, and Ashley's behavior fell short. Furthermore, my ice cream was not prepared correctly, with only one whole Oreo and a few specks. I hope the management will take steps to address these issues and enhance customer satisfaction. They are younger girls but this is no excuse for said behavior. read more

Bruster's ice cream business behind Outback Steakhouse. Their setup to only take walk up or drive-thru orders no indoor seating. I personally like to see the different ice creams but they are only listed on menu order board; perhaps if you do walk-up can see flavors. As far as ice cream I choose Jamaican me Crazy on waffle cone, tastes of coconut, chocolate, vanilla, very good. Would have loved for them to have fresh whipped cream instead of canned whipped cream, but it did not deter my enjoyment of the cake batter I ordered. Free pup cups all day long and they are a good size with delicious peanut butter if you'd like. I kept sneaking bites of his pup cup as the peanut butter was so good! This business should probably invest in a highway sign because if travelers knew how close this was to i95, I bet many more people would stop. Jake got the Oreo double scoop in a cup sprinkled with Butterfinger and something else. It was a nice treat that we all enjoyed. Definitely couldn't ask for more. Ladies working there were excellent and very nice. It helps when you are not sure what you want and are new to that business. It's a beautiful day in South Carolina. What a better way to mourn the end of summer, than with a peanut butter laden ice cream. We've passed by many times but opted for various reasons, until today. As a customer at the original Bruster's in Georgia, I can't imagine ice cream anywhere else. All the ice cream is home made and the flavors are unique: Coffee Caramel Swirl. Coffee Ripple. Fudge Ripple. Butter pecan? Yes! But I had the usual, choco chip mint with peanut butter sauce melted in a waffle bowl. Today, my bowl at this location was stale, and soft from being left in open air. I requested another crunchy, fresh waffle bowl, and was given just that, with a smile! My, was it fresh, nutty, fun, and packed with flavor! Prices are reasonable. I will keep going back, with all this nice weather, why not? I might even bring my Shepherd along for a treat. read more

I go to pick up the cake and the color that I ordered wasn't on it, they said they are out of that specific color.( why not call) So I let it slide because I needed the cake. Stopped here on a break during a road trip. It was well worth it. You walk up and order just like the olden day. They also have drive-thru service. I had my old favorite, cake batter and also tried the cotton candy explosion, which is cotton candy with pop rocks blended in. I honestly wasn't expecting to like this because I don't like pop rock candy but it was delicious! The pop rocks add a nice texture and bite to the ice cream. The woman who helped us that day couldn't have been kinder. She made small talk and made sure I knew my son got a free ice cream (I had no idea). Do not recommend. First off, they just stood there looking at the different flavors and instead of informing us we had to go to the other window, they stand there laughing & starring at us. Then we get up there and the first one barley finishes their order and they go "you could've just gone through the drive through" knowing we're all paying separately. Then they were so unprofessional while taking our orders. In the middle of taking them they were constantly yelling at each other, there was the occasional cuss word, and just so unprofessional. It also took 15 minutes to make 6 kid ice creams.
