Peaches were amazing! This place had so much to offer! Homemade items, goodies etc etc. it was so worth the stop on our trip between Charlotte and Myrtle beach. I bought fresh peaches obviously vine ripened from the tree. The best I've had in years! We also got a peach enchilada served warm ( something like a cobbler only different type of style) I ordered it with fresh peach ice cream_ it was the bomb! It was a busy place, but the lines moved swiftly and everyone was friendly. Highly recommended!

Probably one of the cutest pit stops I've ever made. The whole establishment is such a nice warm environment and super lively. Fresh peaches for sale at a such a good price. They all look equally as good which was awesome. The peach cobbler w/ ice cream came out to only 5 dollars which is a complete steal! So much peach flavor in the cobbler but the crust could've been crispier. A bit mushy. The ice cream isnt made in house so if you were looking for fresh peach ice cream this isnt your stop. But if you're looking for seasonal desserts and peach related stuff, this is the place to go. I dont regret stopping here! - From a Californian

Warm, fresh strawberry cobbler with a generous scoop of ice cream. Dreamy.

McLeod's is a tradition that families have observed for generations. My Yelp pal Mitch K states it correctly when he says, "You all know that you are doing it right by stopping." Hard to argue. How many of us have hit this roadside farm for a needed bathroom break (clean, too), "needed" sundries, fresh produce, and some warm cobbler. OK, the hell with the veggies and give me a bowl of seasonal cobbler with a glob of ice cream melting into it. Insane. There is also a tractor museum, a butcher shop out back, and various things for kids to do around certain holidays, etc. McLeod's is a no-brainer destination on the way to the beach. Give 'em a whirl and see if they don't become a tradition for you, too.

A friend of mine from Northern VA travels to SC in June every year, and he brings up a whole load of peaches for friends in VA and MD. This year, some of the orchards had been impacted by a late frost, so we did not know how good the crop would be. But the peaches he brought us from McLeod Farms were really delicious. I made a peach pie today and it looks terrific.

Yummy! Don't forget the ice cream

OMG! The Strawberry Shortcake is outstanding with Vanilla Ice Cream!! Best I've had in a very long time! Bought 2 of the peach enchiladas but not as impressed. Somewhat like peach cobbler, more gooey crust than peaches. It was okay. Wouldn't get again, but would always stop for a Strawberry Shortcake! Great fresh produce and area to sit and eat or take a break. Beautiful property and easy access snd lots of parking! Great area to walk your dog! 5 side road stop/attraction! Thank you Lindy and Marley

Fresh Winter Strawberries. They've been picking strawberries since Christmas.

Fantastic roadside market with fresh strawberries and other produce. They also have half loaves of various fresh breads including banana nut, apple, peach, and sweet potato just to name a few. They stock all sorts of jams (sadly no plum though) and honey. If you're passing by, definitely a good place to stop and buy a few items.

Peaches are awesome! Juicy but firm. Definitely need a napkin handy when you take that first bite.

She read good things and the hours were perfect for us to stop in on a beautiful Saturday morning in August. They are open every Saturday morning, April through December from 8am-12pm. We arrived about 10am and it was very busy. The main parking lot was full and there was a small line of cars trying to find parking spots. We continued on to the overflow parking area closer to the river bank and there was plenty of parking available. We walked up to the location of the market which is a covered area providing shelter from inclement weather and the hot summer sun. The variety of the different booths is diverse. Everything from fresh vegetables, canned salsas, jams and jellies, baked goods, pottery, frozen meat, and fresh flower bouquets. We enjoyed seeing all the various items and ultimately bought a package of six S'mores cookies which were incredibly delicious! It's been quite some time since we've been to a farmers market and this is a great one. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

10/10 - One of My Favorite Farmers Markets!…read more I stopped by the Kings Drive Farmers Market on a Saturday around 9:30-10:00 a.m., and it was definitely busy! If you're planning to go, I'd recommend getting there as close to opening (around 7:00 a.m.) as possible to beat the crowds. Even with the number of people, everything was very well organized. They had someone directing parking, and the checkout line moved quickly. The vendors were friendly, and the overall experience was smooth. The selection was amazing. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, beautiful flowers, local honey, homemade jams, apple butter (I brought home a jar!), fresh baked goods, and even fresh meat from a local vendor. I also grabbed a mini pecan pie, and it was delicious! The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and quality. One thing to know is that this market isn't as spread out as some of the larger farmers markets, so it can feel crowded once it gets busy. Even so, it never felt disorganized, and the vendors were well stocked with plenty of products. I've always loved the Kings Drive Farmers Market, and this visit reminded me why. It's been a while since I'd been, but I'll definitely be going back more often. Whether you're shopping for your weekly produce, looking for local products, or just want to walk around and support local vendors, it's absolutely worth the trip. 10/10 recommend! Just do yourself a favor and go early.
