I honestly have no idea why I keep trying to give them a chance. I ordered a simple banana split with all chocolate ice cream and all hot fudge with nuts and a cherry. Get home and it has pineapple and strawberries and all this other junk I don't like or want. It would cost more to drive back out there and back home. They just consistently mess something up. I love Bruster's! Their ice cream is so delicious and I love that they switch up the flavors and also get new ones often or seasonally. I have lactose intolerance and I love this place because they have amazing oat milk ice cream! The workers here are so friendly and know the menu well and are attentive to your needs! The quality of the ice cream 90% of the time is great however the service at the Emory Road location is absolutely pitiful. People backed up in the front and the drive thru back up is all the way around the building with basically two people trying to fill orders. This locale is always understaffed and it just isn't worth the price you pay to have to undergo such lousy service. We usually have been patronizing this place on a very regular basis but after this evening that will stop. All of this and plus the fact they never have the product that we love. They make it it about every two months and that is ridiculous. read more

I love, love, love their ice cream. It's fresh, simple flavors with a few inventive twists. Sadly, the last several times the ice cream is not even soft serve it's just melted ice cream. Had to throw the whole cone away because it was melting before I could eat it and getting all over our car. Next time, I thought I'd be safer ordering a pint but it also was melted and made a mess in the bag. Put it in my freezer for a few hours and it was great. I hope they can work out their refrigeration issues and they may just be so busy product is setting out way too long. I'm rooting for them and will try again on another occasion. read more

We waited in line for 40 min and there were only 4 (small) parties ahead of us. We ended up leaving and didn't get any ice cream because only 2 of those parties were served in that 40 min period. They only prioritize drive-thru, as drive-thru customers were in and out right away. 20+ cars came in went in the time we waited in line. Extremely disappointing. read more

The birthday cake ice cream is heaven! It has blue icing, sprinkles and cake batter ice cream. Amazing!!! It's my second time to get it and I was craving it! My daughter ordered the mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone and she loved it! But, unfortunately my husband ordered a large chocolate raspberry cheesecake milkshake and it was watery and nasty. It's disappointing because I told him lets get ice cream from Bruster's and not sonic because Bruster's was better and now he will probably never want to order from here again! read more

I love Brusters! Hail to dealers of ice cream in a world where frozen yogurt is the trendy frozen dessert of choice lately. They have tons of flavors at all times so I typically have to pick 2 flavors. I like them in a cup because, well, I hate ice cream cones. Recently I tried salted caramel (baller) and peanut butter crunch with Butterfingers (ultra baller). There's always a crowd at Brusters, especially summer weekends, but the lines move quick. On Thursdays if you bring your own banana you get 1/2 a banana split. Different strokes I guess. They also have some delicious sundae combinations, and fabulous looking ice cream cakes. Our first visit had us waiting in line about 15 minutes - that's how busy it was. The gentleman behind us struck up a conversation with us and told us the ice cream here was very good - and it was! Damn good Ice Cream. Stopped bye after some wings at Spicy's and was thouroughly impressed. This was our second stop at this location and the first was in the dead of winter and not that good. This time was waaaaay different. Fresh waffle cone and fresh Butter Brickle Ice Cream. I'm a huge fan of Butter Brickle but My Wife has never tried it...as I was saying, My Wife and I are huge fans of Butter Brickle and will be stopping back through Bruster's soon for a few more scoops. read more

I love Bruster's ice cream and have been eating at the one in West Knoxville for years. Recently I had a chance to try this one and it didn't disappoint. The Banana Cream Pie ice cream in the waffle cone was amazing. The bad, the parking lot needs to be kept more clean and around the building and order window feels a tad dirty. This is my go-to place for ice cream, they have two locations, one on Emory Road in Powell and another in West Knox off Middlebrook. They have a huge variety of flavors, my fave is the white raspberry chocolate truffle. YUM! Think you can get a card that they stamp and you get a free cone after ten cones. Well sorry to say Braums ice cream does not exist in the state of Tennessee this location is in fact a Brusters ice cream and does not compare to Braums which has locations in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma... Whoever wrote this review not only got me super excited (because Braums is the best ice cream in the states) but left me severely disappointed because Brusters is unfortunately so/so... There is a DQ down the street that I'm sure does better justice than this drive thru/stand. read more
