I was in Tulsa for a 3-night stay during a biz trip, and chose the Hampton Inn as it's been a solid, reliable brand during all of my travel these past few years. This one, though, missed the mark in a few spots. But first, the good... I'll start with the front desk staff, who were always friendly and greeted me upon each arrival and departure. They even mailed some postcards for me, which was really nice. The hotel is also really conveniently located. It was a short drive to almost everywhere I needed to be. In fact, if the weather hadn't been so chilly I could even have easily walked to most downtown places I visited. Now for the "meh"... My room, located on the 7th floor, had a lovely view. Other than that, it was run down and could have used a refresh. Also, housekeeping never showed up after my first night, even though I was gone most of the day. Not really sure what happened there. They did clean it the next day, though. But back to my room: from a lampshade that looked like it had been sat on to strange brown stains on the wall that had me thinking a lot about those true crime podcasts I used to listen to, not to mention the exposed wires in the wall thermostat, it gave 1-star dive hotel in many ways. The walls were pretty thin, too, and I could smell/hear the folks in the room next to me. Luckily, they put away the joints and the music pretty early in the evening, but it still detracted from the overall experience. Parking was also really weird here. The desk clerk had advised I park at the garage next store, which I did on the first night. Folks, this place was CREEPY with a capital CREEP. I especially advise against parking there if you're a solo female. And while my car was ultimately fine, navigating the enclosed stairwell and abandoned office building lobby with no visible exits just to get out of the place was not my vibe. After night one, I just used the outdoor lot next to the hotel. It was only slightly safer feeling, as it was occupied by some semi-shady characters, but at least there were various options to exit without feeling like I was trapped in an amusement park funhouse. On my last trip to Tulsa, I stayed at the nearby Tulsa Club hotel (also a Hilton property), and if/when I return I'll choose that spot again rather than the Hampton. read more

What a vibe! We're in town for the Billie Eilish concert, so of course we had to stay near the BOK center. Perfect locale. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The whole place just had this cozy, welcoming energy that made it the perfect place to rest. Clean and great views from our 8th floor room. If you're in Tulsa, definitely go. beautiful, and unforgettable. read more

I had a good stay at the Hampton Inn, the check in process went smooth but I wasn't going to pay $20 for parking. I just find parking very dumb! I managed to park on the street for free. The room was clean, nothing fancy but it was worthy! Checkout process went well. The only issue I had was double checking on reward points. I should have accomplished at checkin luckily my points were added. Complimentary breakfast was better than I've had in the past! read more

Dominic and Jacob have excellent customer service skills. They made our stay wonderful. I would have given the hotel the highest rating however housekeeping was horrible. We specifically asked for our room to be cleaned as we were going to an event at the convention center. When we came back the only thing that was done was the bed being made, the trash dumped and bathroom cleaned. The extra blanket I used the night before was left in a ball on the bed, there were plastic forks and other miscellaneous items - cups, etc., left all over the counters and most noticeable was the ironing board and iron was left in the middle of the room. That is unacceptable!! The breakfast was good, the hotel was clean and inviting but that housekeeping?? A big zero. read more

We came to Tulsa for a concert (Stephen Wilson Jr / Eric Church) at the BOK arena. Staff was friendly and it's great to be able to park on the lot next door. We got checked in quickly. Breakfast was also really great (especially given that it is included!). I love when Hilton hotels have the mini western omelets. All that said? The room was a bit run down, we had almost no water pressure in the sink, and the bedding (and room in general) smelled musty. read more

My stay at this particular Hampton was quite disappointing. It certainly did not live up to its four-star rating. The beds were uncomfortable, and the parking garage was inconveniently located behind the building mind you it's an additional $20.00 for overnight parking, requiring a walk outdoors. Additionally, the air-conditioning unit was noisy throughout the night, and the TV constantly displayed an error message indicating it did not support HDCP. You have to use your card key for lots of access not the digital key. Breakfast wasn't the best apple juice was out! very disappointed for a over $200 for our 1 night stay. read more

We had a good experience staying at Hampton Inn in Tulsa. It has a pretty good location, especially when using one of those scooters. Either way, it's within walking distance of the many restaurants, bars, and breweries downtown Tulsa has to offer. I read somewhere that some people had issues with parking and getting towed. The parking spots available to park in are clearly marked on the street and they were pointed out to me on a large printout at the desk. The parking was right next to the building and not a far walk. The room was decently sized and the bed was comfortable and soft. We were only on the second floor and didn't have much of a view. The bathroom had an excellent shower with great water pressure. Everything was clean. We requested late check out, 12pm from their standard 11am, and this was accommodated without issue. No problems here. read more

We were very pleased with not only the cleanliness and location of this Hilton property, but extremely happy with the promptness and caring responsive people that work at this property. We left 3 expensive clothing items in the closet, unbeknownst to us. We were contacted by the manager Stephanie, that we had left these items we would have eventually missed. Although we had to pay for the shipping of our items, it was a small price to pay to have all our items returned. Hats off to all staff, beginning with the responsible housekeeping staff! Stayed here for a couple nights on my Route 66 trip. What really shocked me about downtown Tulsa is how creepily quiet it gets at night and in the morning! No homeless, or white collar people walking around like a typical downtown city. But anyway, this was in a great part of downtown, as it was directly across from the BOK Center, plus walking distance from other parts (although if you have good walking shoes, the Blue Note District, where all the action is, is a half mile). I wasn't used to paying extra for parking, but since I was downtown anyway, it was either $20 or 25 a night. But the desk attendant assured me it was secured by staff. Room was great, no complaints there. I was actually looking forward to swimming in the pool but unbeknownst to me it was closed because of a recent winter plumbing issues. That's what I get from reserving from a third party website, I guess. Breakfast was awesome, as this was the first hot continental breakfast I've had since pre-Covid days. Lots to choose from. Overall great experience, but just be prepared to pay extra $ for parking. read more

My dad is one of 11 firefighters riding his bicycle from CA to NY for the 20th anniversary of 911. All the firefighters stayed at this hotel one night passing through. I wanted to surprise them with something to welcome them. I called to ask for a request and they didn't have what I wanted there but they gave me the managers number to call. I called her and she was amazing! I wanted to get the firefighters an ice cold beer when they got to the hotel after riding 123 miles that day. She told me she would go to the store and get them beer and limes and asked if there was anything else. I told her my dad had been wanting chocolates during the ride but wouldn't let me send them. So the manager for that as well and had the beer on ice waiting for them to arrive. The staff have them the biggest welcoming and cheered and clapped for them as they road up to the hotel. Their customer service is top notch! I appreciate everything they have done for the firefighters and especially my dad. They were all amazing and I highly recommend! read more

Came for work but brought the family too for fun in between meetings. Staff was very nice and greeted everyone as they walked in. Very helpful as well. If you need anything they'll get it. Breakfast was good and changed up a little each morning. It was a hotel breakfast so expect a good hotel breakfast. Kids loved it. Clean! Quiet! Safe! Close to everything! Air was weird and you need to crank it wayyy down to have it nice and cool but it worked well which is huge compared to other hotels. Bed was great. Best sleep we had out of three hotels with this trip! Zero complaints after spending three nights there. read more

The hotel itself was very good. The fresh cookies and 24/7 coffee were a nice bonus. The breakfast buffet had lots of options for both vegetarian and vegan diets in my family. The only thing that I would suggest looking into before staying at this hotel is to see who is playing at the BOK Center while you are there. I was not familiar with the artist that was there one night I stayed, but after the show was over, it was impossible to sleep. Cars were tearing down the street blasting music while hoard of people were screaming as they walked away from the venue. At one point, I was sure I head an accident out side of the hotel as I heard something crash and people screaming. As I peeked out the window, I observed one of the hotel employees trying to clean up glass bottles that were thrown all over the street as cars were practically hitting her. This hotel we stayed in and out flared up almost everyone's allergies including myself. Rooms were not clean due to wet carpet in my room. First room I was in refrigerator didn't work so the relocated me to another room that had wet carpet. When telling the staff they act like it was no big deal. We was there with a big group is the reason we had to stick it out. We had reservation for 18 rooms at this location. What a waste of money. Staff was rude and seem not bothered about issues there. Staff fit into a screaming match with one of the children in our group. Not to mention there was a water leak that destroyed some luggage. Awful experience with this location. Will never go back or refer anyone to stay there. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed with the uncaring staff at this location. When we checked in, we were told "oh, you already checked in." I used to work for a Hilton Hotel, so frightening a guest into thinking the staff gave away their room or that they allowed another guest entry to their room is a big error. We checked in very late at 9:20pm & also asked for a few extra minutes to check out in the morning. Front Desk employee Echo got Stephanie Pomeroy on the phone & we were told we would be charged for an additional night if not out of the room by 11am SHARP. After a slammed door behind the counter and rude behavior, we found out we were given a gift by our Travel Agent & Stephanie "checked us in" when she delivered the gift bag. The room had the noisy air conditioner full blast on a chilly 40 degree night. We had 3 guests & they did not provide anything but a scratchy blanket for the pull-out sofa. Pictured is the dirty, ugly & outdated orange chair & small tv that are part of the room's sad decor. We paid top dollar and have never had a worse experience at a Hilton family of hotels. This is a beautiful hotel that just opened March 2017. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom and shower. It was a beautifully decorated room and of course very clean. The breakfast seemed minimal to me with not a lot of healthy options, I would have liked more fresh fruit but they did offer oatmeal. I dealt with Michael and Kaleigh at the front desk on many occasions and they were so personable and kind. The valet attendants were amazing!! Even stopping after their shift as they were leaving to help us. I booked through a third party and they advertised free parking. They do not have free parking. There is street parking that's metered or valet that's $25 a day. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the clean, comfortable room. read more

Where do I start? Upon check in, we were greeted and thanked for being a Diamond member (9 years). We were given bottled water, which was the last thing that went right during our stay. When we went to workout in the gym, the TV's did not work and half of the gym equipment is non functional. The hotel is obviously on towel rationing as only two towels were available in the gym. This seems to be the case throughout the hotel, as our room had one towel, two wash rags and two hand towels! I guess the supply chain has caused a towel shortage? The great thing about not having towels to wash with, is the fact that we had no soap to use either. This negated the need for a towel or wash rag...When I asked the desk about this, they said soap is on back order until the end of March!! Wow! I guess they really did not need to provide towels or soap as we had no hot water either, both day of our stay. Taking ice cold showers really limits the time you spend on personal hygiene! We noticed the cold water on the first day and asked the desk, twice, the next morning to address...Guess what happened? Nothing!!! I came home at 10 pm and had to take a cold shower again! I have asked repeatedly to speak to the manager and she is in hiding. I can confirm this after my call with Hilton this morning, where they tried to contact a manager at the hotel and were unable to contact her. Maybe the manager should come out of the hole she is hiding in and see what a maintenance and customer service train wreck her property has become! read more

The quality of service at Hilton properties in general has noticeably declined across the board over the past couple years, but at this place in particular it's gone off a cliff. Staff was rude and unhelpful with few exceptions. They seem incredibly understaffed but still, your job is to at least pretend you care. In my room the TV volume was stuck at an extremely low volume and couldn't be adjusted, a shade just straight up fell off its mooring on the window the first time I used it, the ironing board was broken, there were maybe two towels in my room, and the outlets weren't working along an entire wall. I went to go buy ice cream from their commissary and it was all nearly melted, when I mentioned this to the front desk employee he barely acknowledged my presence. Oh and you're one block from the bus station and there's nearly always a "character" waiting to harass you in the time it takes you to walk from the front door to your car. And for this they're charging New York/LA prices to stay on the edge of downtown Tulsa. read more

I stayed here to go to the convention center only because the Doubletree was booked (it's connected to the center), but now I will never stay anywhere else. The staff, including front desk, the cleaning staff, and the valet guys outside were all super amazing! They genuinely made us feel welcome and treated us like royalty. We got rides to and from the convention center every time the shuttle was available and they even let us borrow an umbrella when it was raining outside. They were authentic and real, and the hospitality was outstanding. I also loved the more modern friendly look of this hotel. It was overall a very welcoming and amazing trip, thanks to the lovely young ladies and young men who are employed here. read more

This place has been a gem for our girls getaway! The pool is nice and heated. I mean, like comfortable heated, not just luke warm. It was clean and quiet too. The gym is quite larger than we normally see at Hamptons. Breakfast was open from 6-10 and the front desk was on top of everything g we needed from the time we walked in til the time we checked out. The bed was a little too firm for me but my girls loved them. We stayed in a two queen beds room with a mini fridge. The room was spacious and clean. Being downtown was a great convenience too. The parking lot is a little tricky with getting easily in with all your luggage-I would recommend unloading in front if you can first. The security of the hotel being downtown was excellent as well. I saw the parking lot security walking the lot a couple times and that was great knowing we are right across from the BOK event center and there is quite a bit of homeless around. We will definitely be staying here again in the future! read more

This is the best hotel in downtown. I went to an event at the BOK Center & the hotel isn't even half a block away so it is in a very convenient location. All of the staff was nice & courteous. The room was very clean & nice. They have the best comforter I've felt in a hotel! The continental breakfast is open from 6-10, which is really great for those of us that like to sleep in a bit. Breakfast area was super clean with ample variety of food and drink. HVAC system in the room was perfect. Kept the room at the temperature I wanted and did it without any "racket". What a great place to stay for the price. Yes there isn't a bar or restaurant on site but there is one next door and plenty close by. The breakfast was very good. Fresh pressed juices and smoothies and plenty of other stuff. Rooms are very large with more storage than I've ever seen in a hotel or suite. Even has a wetbar by the door. when you walk in you don't see your bed as the room is kind of L shaped. One of the best showers you will find in any priced hotel. large walk in shower with heavy glass doors and water pik shower head and excellent water pressure. From the beginning when calling to ask questions about making a reservation, I felt like I was rushed into making a reservation. Upon arriving to my destination I find out there is valet parking for $20 only or non-valet parking for $15 on the street. I need handicap access, so I was told to park all the way down the block. The STANDARD room that I stayed in was small, no microwave, and had hair in the bathroom. I was renting a car and was told I could get a discount through Enterprise car rental BUT never did.Those things I just simply brushed off because my guest and I was only there for one night. The next day at checkout I returned both room keys and had to ask for my hotel receipt. Clearly states $139.11 balance $0.00. So on Sunday when checking my online banking I notice my account was in the negative because Hampton Inn charged my card an additional $100.00, when I called to inquire about these charges, and speaking with a manager on duty she very rudely starts telling me my room was smoked in, in which it was not. She says she took pictures of some ashes and maybe a wrapper or a empty pack. I have yet to see these pictures she is suppose to email. Not anywhere does it state you are not allowed to have tobacco on the premises. My guest and I went to a concert that night and sure we smelled of smoke. As far as smoking, no, did not happen while in the room. So if you're looking for a place to stay downtown, ask questions about handicap parking and check your bill for any additional charges they STICK you with. read more

Was passing through Tulsa on our way to Mo for the eclipse and stayed at the Downtown Hampton. Location is good for venturing out to some of the better Tulsa haunts. However, I was most impressed by a phone call I received about 30 min after checking out that they had found My daughter's laptop in the room. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. read more

I can't say enough about this hotel! It was truly one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I have ever had! Welcoming staff, beautiful and sleek, modern rooms, terrific view of downtown, and lastly--VERY affordable. The check-in and out process was a breeze. The Valet service is a must; only $20 per day in a secured garage. It is a short walk to BOK center and a couple fun little restaurants all nearby for a snack or nightcap. After attending a hot concert, I absolutely loved the shower! Giant and modern. The only slight critique I can say is I like a few more towels in my room, the elevator is tricky to use, so staff needs to clarify that, and we didn't realize there was free WiFi. Would like to see staff inform guests upon arrival...with that said, these things are very minor and weren't an issue. Their front desk staff were some of the friendliest we've ever dealt with! Very personable and welcoming! (Be sure to grab a fresh-baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookie!) This will for certain be our go-to hotel whenever visiting Tulsa! Can't wait to return!! read more
