Still waiting for a return phone call from Dr Bryant's office. There was an error on my mother's prescription. My mother is 90 with COPD and Emphysema. Because of this error, my mother has been without her inhaler for 10 days. Understand she cannot breathe with any exertion. I have called her office 4 times to get the medication corrected and spoke to Jennifer. During today's conversation, Jennifer started laughing. I asked what was so funny? She replied "Oh I have someone in front of me." She has proven over and over that she doesn't care about the patient and is disrespectful. The M A in the back office has always given the impression that she hates her job. Has no patience with the elderly. The wrong inhaler was called into Optum. The pharmacy has been trying to call and fax starting September 5 to Dr Bryant's office with no response. So, to sum this up. 1. Wrong prescription called in to Optum. 2. No return phone calls after many attempts to correct this. Which has delayed treatment since September 5, 2023. 3. Extremely rude and unprofessional front and back office employees. 4. Tried to call again before closing. No response on a Friday night Does not call patent with prescription problem Never calls with test results. My mother has been with Dr Bryant for 24 years. I had my physical exam this week with Dr. Bryant and staff. They were right on time. Roberto, the nurse, is professional, respectful and seems very comfortable doing his job. Dr. Bryant was very complete, helpful, professional, caring, knowledgeable and respectful. After the exam there were several referral that Salvador took care in a skilled, respectful manner. I actually walked out the door with the referrals approved in my hands. I truly feel that Dr. Bryant and her staff are angels, at least a wonderful support for me. If I could give negative infinity stars I would. This is my VERY first time coming here too. I came into the office in May 2019 looking to get my yearly physical. I had a chance to see Shari-Lynne the nurse practitioner and we went over everything. She asked me if there was one thing I was concerned about and I told her yes, I believe I might have PCOS because I was exhibiting symptoms and both my mother and sister have it. She said she could send me to get checked for the test and before she could do anything else I made sure to preface (SEVERAL TIMES I might add) that if I have to pay for this test in any way, I do not want it. She told me she understood and she would check with my insurance to make sure I wouldn't be charged and she told me if the test has any cost at all she will not send me for it. I thanked her and said I needed to mention that because I cannot afford any surprise bills currently and she told me she completely understood and she wouldn't put me through that. She left the office for a while and came back and said she would send me for the test. I asked her if my insurance covered it and she told me yes they did. I completely trusted her and believed her words. However a few weeks after the test I received a 'potential' invoice from my insurance saying not only will I be paying for the ultrasound, I will be paying for the blood test as well. The blood test was resolved (at least I hope it was) but the ultrasound was not and I owe the full amount of $488 which makes me livid. What's worse is my insurance told me no one from the dr.'s office even called to confirm if they covered the ultrasound. They looked through all the calls on that date and nothing from you guys which makes me feel like she lied to me. I don't want that to be the case but that's the impression I have now. I have been fighting these people for months and they basically fucked me completely. The radiology told me the insurance denied my claim, the insurance said they gave me a discount but I still owe the full amount (what??) and the office basically sent me for a test an disregarded my wishes. These people SUCK! You have been warned! read more

Upon my initial visit, I was examined by the PA, ShariLynne. She asked many questions to get to know me and my situation. I actually liked her. And I hadn't seen Dr Bryant as yet. But the god damn staff Jennifer is past worst than the PITTS. She is incompetent, doesn't follow through, lies about taking steps for a better health experience and does not submit your information to the necessary portals / departments in a timely manner. Then she lied about it. No wonder they want you to call while you're at the door to buzz you in their office. One thing I hate is incompetence from anyone. And it seems that I have been finding this more and more with bilingual workers. They take their time and finish personal conversations before acknowledging you are standing in front of them. They are lazy, unprofessional, liars when caught in an error instead of simply saying I am sorry I made a mistake let me fix it. They just hold on to the lie that they made an error! This is not the 3rd world country, and I expect better from workers here in the USA. They are only hired because they speak other languages when I blame the USA for because if everyone was forced to speak English like the days of old then there would be no need for bilingual speakers. I am seriously considering changing doctors and filing a complaint with my insurance company as to the treatment of her staff. I initially choose Dr. Bryant because she is a Black doctor. But, her staff, Jennifer in particular is a dirty rotten liar and I cannot trust her with my health as I see her as a threat! On three separate occasions this cow (I would say bitch) gave me the wrong damn information. I believe if you can't stand the heat get yo ass outta kitchen. So in other words if you cannot stand the work, get another job! And quit lying to the patients. read more

I was referred to Dr Diana about 3 years ago, and am so glad. Every experience is great. I appreciate the extra precautions taken with COVID, especially the calling from the parking lot so I can be contacted when my room is ready. Great job to all. read more

Dr. Bryant has been our family physician for over 20 yrs. Wow, time flies. The staff are professional and have the ability to communicate perfectly. Dr Bryant has always been available or her newer practitioners available. These women ROCK and we are lucky to have them. read more

Dr. Bryant's office is wonderful. I've been seeing Dr. Bryant for 15 years. Her office staff is fabulous! Super friendly, kind, and helpful. They listen. Just today they found a way to squeeze me in given my condition. Her nurse practitioner, Sherri Lynn, is great, too! She spent time with me and truly listened to my symptoms and concerns. Dr. Bryant is knowledgeable, friendly, and asks lots of questions to get an overall picture of what's going on. Highly recommend! read more

This morning I got a call from the Dr's office and this is the second time I have been rescheduled , if you are a busy person this is not the doctor for you ! the first time I had an apt at 4:00 and when I got to the office she had 3 people to see before me , I rescheduled for the morning in hopes that she would not be running late and I got a phone call that she was on jury duty and got called in ... true , not sure but..... If I would have been told this ahead of time that she was on jury duty I would not have booked an apt. I could have taken clients at my busy salon , now two times I have lost business of my own due to this doctor . Maybe I should charge her ! read more

This is a preliminary entry. I haven't yet seen Dr. Bryant or her partner, Jennifer Rascoe N.P. I've only had dealings with their office. I had an appointment scheduled for a Thursday morning, but got a call about 40 minutes before office closing time on Monday to "confirm" my appointment for the NEXT day, Tuesday. I called back but wasn't able to get through--a message informed me that all lines were busy, and that I could leave a message or call back later. I did leave a message, but also tried calling several more times just in case. No dice. So I showed up in the morning; thankfully(?), I'm unemployed and had no other appointments or interviews. It turns out the woman who had called me was already making calls to correct her error of the previous day (though I didn't find this out until after I'd left and checked my voicemail). So no, I didn't have an appointment on Tuesday. It was NOT a complete waste of time, though, as I was able to take home the paperwork that I would otherwise have to sit in the office and fill out before my appointment. I'll endeavor to update this review with my experience on Thursday. read more

When I called to make an appt, the woman on the phone told me my first appt would be 1 hour because Dr. Bryant likes to really be thorough & get to know her patients. I was pleasantly surprised at this and I was really looking forward to the appt. The office is in a super run-down building where the floors creak with every step. They asked me to bring my medical records from my previous Doctor & so I gave that plus the registration forms they mailed to me to the receptionist. I waited for about 10 min & the nurse called me in. She wasn't particularly friendly but wasn't mean either. She didn't smile or really introduce herself until about 2 min later when she asked if I was a new patient. She took my blood pressure without using a stethoscope to listen to my heart beat (never seen that before) and then told me the doctor would be in. 20 min later, dr. Bryant comes in. 20 minutes!!! She tosses all the paper (my registration forms & medical records) onto the counter & says "so much paper!" --- there were about 8 pages total. She did not meet my expectations. Most of the 1 hour I spent with her, I was fighting the urge to just leave. Don't waste your time at this office. read more

TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Yeah she gives you a questionnaire and asks you a million questions at the beginning but she is extremely difficult to get a hold of, the office always closes early and they are never available early in the morning. I had gone to her after i was diagnosed with very bad sinusitis by the ER. They had asked me to go follow up with a general practitioner so i visited Dr Bryant. She's sweet and asked me lots of questions but that was about it. I left and ten days later my antibiotics hadn't completely cured the sinusitis. After not being able to get a hold of her I left town for the holidays; while i was out of town I finally got through to the office and they prescribed me more antibiotics over the phone. When i went to pick them up the pharmacist said "there is something not right about your prescription, we need to call your doctor before allowing you to take this medicine" they could not get a hold of her for three days! They mentioned that if I had taken the dose Dr Bryant had prescribed my kidneys would have failed! I finally got a hold of the doctor's office myself and the guy on the phone laughed at the idea of kidney failure and told me "it's not the pharmacists job to tell you that"..... i'm pretty sure a pharmacy would never give a customer medicine that is above normal dosage without confirming with a doctor. So i asked him to follow up with the pharmacy and let me know why they would be concerned with kidney failure and he said "i don't have time for that". I couldn't believe that! He had "other patients to take care of". I have never had such an unprofessional experience with a doctor and on top of that have a doctor's office make me feel the way they did. read more

I had a wonderful first experience at this office. I saw the nurse practitioner, Jennifer Rascoe, and couldn't be happier with the attention and care she gave me. She paid attention to my concerns and made sure everything I needed got taken care of. Not once did I feel rushed out of that office (as is so often the case). I also really loved the interaction I had with the rest of the staff. I had to call in a few times, and the receptionist I spoke with was very knowledgeable and also showed concern for my issues. I have been seeing Dr Bryant for over 17 years. She was the first one to tell me I had cancer. She walked me through the process. Her referrals were always a perfect match. I had 2 cases of breast cancer and colon cancer. Her office staff is great and have worked with her for over 7 years. I'm impressed with the service and care they all offer. One of the most important things to me, in seeking a doctor, is that I'm comfortable telling them anything. With my 3rd daughter, I had this really handsome Cuban OB and I found myself unable to talk to him about issues related to my lady bizness. As a teenager I saw an uptight Indian (female) doc who totally shamed me about being sexually active. So I am very grateful for Dr. Bryant, who I've been seeing for years. She has a low-key personality that jibes well with mine and is super thorough. When you have your annual appt she really takes her time with you and has a holistic approach- asks about your personal life and emotions as well as physical issues. I've always felt that she listens to me closely and never blows me off or treats me like a hypochondriac (not that I am one, but I've had drs. do that- so insulting). Their new office has a much nicer interior, if that matters. I don't think she's accepting new HMO patients, but who can blame her? read more

My husband, Chuck, and I have been patients of Dr. Diana Bryant for over 20 years. She's TERRIFIC. We'll be with her until she retires - hopefully not for a long time. She finds a way to always spend as much time as we need during our appointments. She's very knowledgeable, caring, supportive and proactive. When my sister retires off her group plan next year, she's going to switch to Dr. Bryant per my recommendation. Dr. Bryant also treated both my mother and my aunt before their passing, years ago. She offers excellent care for her patients. Sal, in her front office, is also outstanding - always going the extra mile to help with records, prescriptions, appointments, etc. If you're looking for a family doctor who sincerely cares about your health and well being, look no further. read more

I don't really think I'm that difficult of a patient, but I do have a level of professionalism and personality that I expect. I have had doctors that: -Took phone calls in the middle of my visit -Made me wait two hours to be seen -Made me feel stupid for wanting to have surgery to fix my painful feet -Don't answer my questions, but tell me to come back in a month (why would I?). -Sent me for multiple X-Rays and then didn't even look at them when I brought them in, and on and on... (I'm not making this up.) Dr. Bryant was like a breath of fresh air. My first visit to her office she spent time with me personally collecting my history, and treated me like a thinking, reasonable woman. She helped me with the condition I came to her with, and as it evolved ever worse, she helped me find the right specialist to get the treatment I needed. Her staff was kind, helpful and encouraging. I have at last found a doctor who is much more like a partner in my health care than I've ever known. I'm so grateful! read more

I was a new patient for this doctor referred to me by Health Net. The first appointment I had set 3 weeks in advance was cancelled on the same day of the appointment because she was scheduled not to come in that day. My appointment was rescheduled for 3 weeks later. I arrived 10 mins late. WIth out question of my name or a cordial hello I was told that I needed to reschedule. For a first time patient there should have been a "welcome" ,"hello", could I please have your name? I told the office staff that I had traffic and a 30 min commute. In the end I figure if 10 mins was a big deal to turn me away-- I would rather search for another Doctor. I am sure its not her fault but her staff does need coaching. Not pleased. read more

I agree with the review ahead of mine. Dr. Bryant is a thorough examiner, and will also make suggestions for things I never thought of. I never feel pushed or rushed. Her nurse is also a prize -- always following up on phone calls in a timely manner.The only thing I find fault with is the closing of the office for lunch BECAUSE I ALWAYS ONLY REMEMBER TO CALL DURING THE LUNCH HOUR. She referred me to a couple specialists after my check up who were also very good. Very casual office and the overall vibe that you are not a herded cattle (Kaiser). I have been seeing Dr. Bryant for five or six years and with in that time she has managed my care better than any other doctor I have ever seen. I have severe kidney disease, the kidney doctor I was previously seeing did nothing for me, Dr. Bryant help me find an amazing new kidney specialist. Dr. Bryant, is a wonderful doctor with incredible bed side manor, I never feel rushed when see her. She also takes time for me and answers every question I have. Not only is Dr. Bryant amazing, she also has the BEST office staff, they take such great care of all of her patients. The Two that I see on a constant basis, that always carry a smile and make me feel welcomed are, Sal and Robert. Sal is marvelous at what he does. He calls me with my labs, answers my questions I have and always returns my phone calls with almost no waiting period. While I was quite impressed with Dr. Bryant's bedside manner and vast knowledge of health related issues I was unpleasantly surprised that her practice was managed so poorly....while the doctor herself took the time to actually address all of my concerns and did not rush me or dismiss me and treated me with the utmost respect.. how or why she would employ an office manager that is not cut from the same cloth just boggled my mind. I realize when searching for a new physician that finding a practice that is accepting new patients that are unfortunate enough to have an hmo plan can be a feat that is very time consuming. As a patient you are about as popular fox in a hen house.. So when I made my appointment with the office I had to wait approximately 6 weeks to be seen. .. well the day before my appointment (which I was assured would not be changed ) the office manager called and cancelled my appointment and made another one a week later. I also needed lab work done. I had fasted and went to get my labs done with my orders in hand. ..on my arrival I was told I was not sent to the correct lab. .and nothing was done. .. so after a few hours of my time researching on my own I found the correct facility which needed new forms . I also needed another test and after waiting for several days I got a call explaining the what, when and where. I spoke with the place where the test was supposed to be performed and found out they had requested 4 or 5 times the day before the test was to be done that the doctor's office manager please fax the orders which were never sent. so the night before I received a call about the lack of orders sent and I was told I would be stuck with the bill thanks to the office manager...needless to say I contacted someone else at the Doctor's office and thank goodness the problem was resolved...So while having a doctor that is kind and caring is great . having a person that doesn't care and can't be bothered as an office manager makes it a wash out. read more

My original impression of Dr. Bryant was positive. In fact, I gave her 5 stars here. But recently I've had to change my opinion due to the fact that my husband has been calling her office literally every day for the past week to try to get an answer to a moderately serious medical question. The office staff keep telling him that she's been "really busy." Wrong answer. If you don't have time to return calls from your patients, you need to either come to work earlier, stay later, or see fewer patients during the day. Looking for another PCP. read more

I am very disappointed with Dr Diane Bryant and her NP. In the past I had gotten two favorable recommendations for her. My daughter's been sick with a persistant cough and pain in the lungs so I had her see Dr Bryant. After waiting 45 min, she was told that nothing was wrong with her except for allergies and to continue taking allergy meds. She's been sick for a week and continues to feel worse. What kind of doctor is she? My daughter went to her for help to get well. Very unacceptable and inhumane work ethics! read more

I went to Dr. Bryant a few years ago, basically just to get a referral to an ob/gyn since I was pregnant. I was very impressed with her thoroughness, she had me fill out a medical history questionnaire and then went over it with me in detail. I don't think I've ever had a doctor do that before, they usually have you fill out the paperwork, maybe they'll glance at it, and then they ask you the same questions that you just spent 15 minutes answering. I really liked her personality too, she was friendly, calm and knowledgeable. My insurance changed shortly after that, so I had to select a new doctor. After a couple years, it changed again, and now I am going to her again. Since it had been about three years, they had me come in as a new patient which was fine, plus they had a new computer system so they had to enter the new info into that. Pretty responsive about scheduling appointments, just know that if you're a new patient she only schedules those at 11 am or 2 pm on certain days. read more
