This time, she said she had a family emergency come up and had to go out of town, so she wouldn't be able to do the work on Saturday as scheduled. I get it, emergencies happen, but I was already pretty skeptical with the lack of communication before this, so I figure she had just forgotten about it. I asked when we could reschedule and she said "maybe" she'd be back on Monday and "maybe" we could get it done Tuesday or Wednesday. At this point, I was starting to panic, since I'd scheduled my carpet cleaners for Thursday and we had to be completely out of the house by end of week.
