I did not need tempered glass, which would have been more expensive and taken longer to get. When I got the glass home, I discovered that the table wasn't completely square in the corners. The glass fit into each side, but wouldn't sit into the space so I needed the glass to be just a little tiny bit smaller. I brought the glass back to Yankee Glass, with the table (in hindsight, I should have done that in the first place), and they were able to get the glass to fit perfectly while I waited. I would have been happy to pay for the extra labor, they kindly refused my offer and sent me on my way. I'm extremely happy with my experience with Yankee Glass.

They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.
