So tried Bubbakoo's for the first time. Ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos. The shrimp were the size of a nickel. You get 3 tacos. 1 taco had 3 shrimp in it and the other two tacos had 2 shrimp. Did the combo. The salsa was terrible. It tasted like tomato sauce from a can. The machines running and music was so loud it was hard to hear. The order taker did smile. Delicious! They had BOGO burritos on Instacart so hubby and I decided to take advantage of the discount and try them out as I've been seeing pretty great reviews! We ordered two burritos; they were chicken, white rice, black beans, lettuce, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, queso and guacamole. The bag had to weigh like 7lbs with two burritos, no joke these burritos were HUGE and oh my gosh, so incredibly delicious! We cannot wait to try some new burrito combos! The chicken had such a nice lime flavor, guacamole had great flavor and didn't taste like a lump of grass LOL which I find happens often at chain restaurants but this one was super flavorful and complimented the burrito so well. First time after having my nails done next door. I was not sure what to order, however, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I ordered 3 tacos to go. You basically go down the line like other taco places and make your own. The food was delicious. The place was clean and did I say the tacos were delicious? This is definitely my new go to place for tacos, burritos and bowls. They will give you samples of the hot sauces so you make the right decision. Couple weeks ago I reviewed and I gave them a four star well today I had to give them a five star! Typically your second visit is a little disappointing. This was absolutely superb every which way the food was fresh delicious hot. Everything is fresh on their line, when the cilantro was fresh, you know it's good. The service was absolutely great, you can tell the employees enjoy working here. A couple of employees were walking into work and the first thing that happened is he is either the supervisor or the owner greeted them and they were happy to be there. Bubbakoo's Burritos on Pine Island Rd 5-17-24: Stopped by Bubbakoo's for a Steak and shrimp Burrito as I had this before and loved it. My wife chose the Steak & Shrimp Bowl instead of the burrito. We got there near 12 and it was not full for a Friday. This place is neat and clean and laid out nicely so you can find everything fast. You order what you want at the counter, and they give you the option to build your own or they can build it for you. I chose for them to build it except I wanted extra sour cream on mine and that was not a problem. My wife built her own with a little of everything in it. All their ingredients looked very fresh as they added all the items inside my burrito and her bowl. The Steak & Shrimp was on the flat top being made fresh also. We got our order very quick and headed to a table to eat it. My Burrito was large and as full as they could make it, everything inside was hot and tasted fresh. My only complaint was some of the Steak was a little tough and chewy, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I believe it was a little over done. My wife's Steak & Shrimp bowl was full of the ingredients she ordered. She stated it tasted fresh and everything was hot, but her Steak was chewy also. I ate my entire large burrito, and my wife not only ate all the items inside the bowl, she even ate some of the bowl itself. All in all we ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu but it was very good and well worth the price. Our total bill was around 40 dollars. They do have cheaper items on the menu, but everyone should at least try their Steak & Shrimp burrito or bowl once. I will give this place a 4 or of 5 thumbs up. Burrito was a solid 8/10, worth every penny 2.) shrimp tacos were a 1/10, or should I say 1/3 since they didn't remember to put shrimp on 2 of 3 tacos. Flavor was good for the one taco we did get. 3.) Build your own bowl was delicious, a good 9/10 if you like chipotle style bowls. 4.) Chips and salsa.. 0/10. I am a food fanatic and never have I spit chips and salsa out in my life until I tried this. Chips were stale and tasted like they were picked up off the floor.
