Food you don't have to cook! No dishes to do! Anyhoo, I decided to try their Pad Thai and Massaman curry. And OMG, this is quite possibly one of the best Thai take out place in the Cape! No eating on site unless you wanna pop a squat outside 100 degree heat and sweat your balls off. Who wants that?! The flavor profile is mwah! The amount of food is crazy much. Like I-guess-I'll-eat-Thai food-for-the-next-three-days much. Every bite of the pad Thai had chicken in it. It was simply so tasty. Lots of peanuts. What peanut allergy? PS: I don't typically review food coz being a foodie, I tend to judge harshly. And mama always said if you ain't got nothing nice to say...you know the rest. The massaman curry was so good. I forgot to ask for spicy but that's ok, I'm Asian so naturally I'll have chili oil at my disposal. The taste was rich, the curry wasn't thick and again, lots of chicken! The thing is, this is so unexpected for a food truck. Typical food truck food, you pay an exorbitant amount for just a wee little bit of food. Not the case here! We wanted to explore Pine Island and came across their excellent Google reviews. As we were driving in, I began to worry that the hours listed on Google for their location were incorrect. But we went all the way to the end of the dark Marina tonight, and there it was! We ordered the Crabby fries, the Smashburger in the Pastrami Reuben. One of the reasons I think their food is so delicious is that they make many items in-house, such as the amazing queso that came with the fries (which might have been the best fries I've ever had- no exaggeration). They prepare the fries in a unique way that doesn't involve deep-frying them, unlike most places. They also smoke their pastrami, and the Pastrami Reuben sandwich was also delicious. We also both enjoyed the Smashburger. An upgrade to bun might be worthwhile, but it was damn tasty. We also had a lovely chat with one of the managers?, Matthew. He was super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the restaurant. It was dark when we went, but I'm sure it's a beautiful view of the water and the marina during the day. Came here for Cinco de Mayo and a little date night out with some friends…read more This isn't the first time I've been here, but everytime I come its always a great time. There was live music that night and they had everyone up dancing. The place has a bunch of food trucks around the perimeter of a courtyard style area. Nice big bar in the middle with quite a few VIP seating lounges available to rent (the pics show them with the big pink and blue couches) and a few areas with games to play like electric darts, bowling and other yard games like big Jenga, connect four, corn hole. Lots of outdoor seating, some with fire pits, and the place is kid friendly! It was great to see the littles out dancing too. We tried the lobster tacos from the lobster truck. They were great!! Stuffed with lobster. A few of the other food trucks included Greek food, pizza truck, sandwiches and a taco truck (my favorite was when they used to have a mac n chz truck there ) We tried a couple different cocktails from the bar and they were delish too. Our bartender was super sweet and had a great personality. The places hosts many events: from bike night to bingo to salsa dance lessons.. so there's no doubt we wont be back soon to enjoy the fun!
