I'm surprised I could eat a whole one, but it surprisingly stayed all together really well. It was my first time trying Bubbakoo's Burritos, and the team and manager were super friendly. It was busy inside, and the team was working hard to pack a catering order. I ordered to go and got a grilled chicken burrito with bang bang sauce and a side of queso. The ingredients on the burrito were fresh, and the bang band sauce packed a perfect punch. They had a crazy burrito menu with wild combinations, which I thought was cool. The inside of the restaurant is brightly colored lime green with a skater punk vibe. The walls were covered with tasteful graffiti art. It's a fantastic place with friendly staff. I would recommend it! read more

We decided to give Bubbakoo's Burritos a try and ordered their burrito bowls. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! The bowls were so good, we practically licked them clean. Honestly, it might have been the best thing I ate during my trip to Zephyrhills (and that's saying something, especially coming from a New Yorker!). The bowls were a delightful mix of flavors and textures. I mean, how can cheese and sour cream ever taste bad? It's practically impossible! The ingredients were fresh, and everything just worked together perfectly. I was also impressed because, believe it or not, some places in New York fail to do a better job than Bubbakoo's (I'm looking at you, Hot Peppers!). I can't speak to the consistency of the meals, but from what I had through delivery, it was good. I finished my meal completely satisfied. Some other reviewers have mentioned that it can be inconsistent, though, so your experience might vary. If you find yourself in Zephyrhills and craving a solid meal, Bubbakoo's Burritos is definitely the spot to grab a bowl. It's a taste of comfort that can satisfy even the pickiest of palates. This place is a no in my book, and really should be for everyone. When you enter, you assume it's a hole in the wall place, but... the prices suggest otherwise ( tacos for $5+?!). Once you're ordering the people do not want to be there at all, and seem upset that there are customers. Upon receiving your food, it looks like it was prepared by someone who just threw it together, with toppings falling all over the place, and a smell that was slightly off. We got three items to try, and none of them had the flavor you'd expect, and seemed like someone microwaved old meat and didn't spice or put any flavor in anything. I would be cautious around this place as I'm sure a health inspector may find this place not how it should be, and close it down soon. read more

The food here lacks consistency. Sometimes I've received a decent meal but more often lately there are issues that will stop me from coming again. Tortilla chips that are wet and soggy with grease or other times stale. Qusadilla have so much grease on them and have aftertaste of old grease. Had a burrito bowl the other day with so much salt in the rice it was inedible. Often things not included in the order like sides of sauce or cheese or missing chips. Portion sizes are inconsistent feom one time to the next. I've ordered from here alot and changed up items hoping to find ones without issue but I've been burned too many times with odds of 1 in 10 that I will receive mealnwoth out quality issues. read more

I would like to point out how great the food here is, the rice is just right, the meat is fresh and juicy, the vegetables are ripe and perfectly separate. they have something called a "chawawa" and oh how I love it. the customer service is great, very patient. I am a black women.. if I had to leave a review without being asked to; you know this place is the bom.com. they are clean, work fast, not messy at all. Tastes great, possibly better than chipotle! Not so sure about portion sizes for the price. You could spend less at chipotle for more portions. Basic bowl with rice, beans and chicken goes for $10 roughly at chipotle and is packed with rice and protein. While this one was kind of missing some food. I was on the hunt for dinner via UberEats since I was working late and ran across this place. Decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. I ordered the shredded chicken with Jamaican jerk flavor quesadilla, and 3 grill chicken bowls with the flavors Mango habanero, BBQ and Jamaican Jerk. First off let me say that I love spicy food and expect the Mango habanero and the Jamaican jerk to have a spicy kick to it but it didn't at all. Don't get me wrong the flavor was good but I expected a little kick considering I got spicy flavor with hot salsa and fresh jalapeños. Overall the everything we ordered was good and decent portion size. I would have to say my favorite was the shredded chicken quesadilla with Jamaican jerk flavor as you get to really taste the flavors in the shredded chicken.. The kids got boardwalk cookies for dessert which is fried Oreos and they were delicious and crunchy even though they were sitting there for hours it kept its crunch and didn't get soggy read more

My husband's burrito was huge!! He got the Pineapple Express, the pineapple salsa was amazing. I got the nachos and they hit the spot exactly what I was craving!! Last Saturday I visited this location. When I arrived there were no customers in the restaurant and 2 employees and a manager. I went to the counter to order my food because this was my first time ever going to this restaurant, but no one came to the counter to take my order so I turned around and left. I wish I could leave a 0/5, this place was absolute trash. My friend and I ordered uber eats about $50 worth of food and the only thing edible was the chips and salsa. I got a bowl, he got a burrito, both of our meals were bland. The rice had no flavor, nor the beans. The pickled jalepenos are def out of a can. The chicken in the bowl was SO DRY, its like it was cooked once and then cooked again and had no flavor for being "marinated grilled chicken" and there was no grilling about this, it was def either microwaved to death to suck out all the moisture or flash fried, it was the worst chicken I've had in a long time The quesadilla was not very good, it was super crispy and oily like it was fried? and the proportions of where the sauce and cheese went was one side or the other, how about evenly distributing the cheese and sauce?! We ate only about 1/3 of our food and threw it out. I'm typing this the next day and both of us feel under the weather and having stomach issues...so yeah you're better off going to taco bell or chipotle. Yesterday was my second visit and I will never go there again. I ordered through the app. When I got to Bubbakoo's, a large family walked in before me. My order was not on the rack or even started. There were also 2 other people waiting for to go orders. The Mgr announces to everyone in the restaurant that walk-ins get priority. I should've canceled my order on the spot and went to Chipotle but I waited another 1/2 hour. Now I watch as the mgr is grabbing food from the prep table and feeding her face. I loved this place the first time but I now have deleted the app and they have lost my business. Thank God for Chipotle!!! read more
