I took my large breed dog in for grooming. He was shedding profusely. I do brush him often but could not keep up with it. He had some matting behind his ears but not a lot. I try to cut out any that I find. My dog is well cared for. Anyway, I received a call from the groomer. She said they would not be able to get him dried if they gave him a bath. I took him in at 8:30 A.M. She said he had difficulty standing. (Of course he does, he is a large breed and gets tired.)She said she was able to shave him, mostly on the floor. (I've seen videos of other groomers doing that.) Essentially, they did not want to continue with him. She even shaved his tail!!! My dog's beautiful, fluffy tail looks like an extra appendage! You don't shave a dog's tail.! There are long tufts of fur that were missed and the shaving was uneven. I went to pick him up and they charged $250!!!! They charged double what I would have expected for a complete grooming package. This was an incompetent, lazy, incomplete job.Then, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip! (Incredulous!!) Anyone that operates a business needs to learn that, they do not "work for themselves;they work for the people paying them, ie., the customers. The facility was also rather offensive with odor as soon as I walked through the door. (I've been to other groomers and have never been met with bad odors, especially upon entry.) Perhaps, of you have a small pet, the experience may be fine. Otherwise, stay away from Bubbles Bath and Beyond. read more

We have been to a number of groomers since we moved to NC. Some were great the first time but on subsequent visits we were disappointed, and some it was bad timing because the groomer that knew what our babies needed, retired. I have found this shop, and had no idea how close to our house it was, 4 miles are you kidding me? We went in with no expectations and let them do their thing saying "Puppy Cut" for both. When we picked them up I could not have been more surprised and pleased; I almost cried, they had put bows in Bella Paisley's hair!! I was so delighted (Bella is our Shih Tzu) of course they were out by the time we got home lol. Blondie, our mixed breed looked beautiful and even cut!! The most exciting part, this was the least amount of money we have paid since we lived in Chicago! Seriously! When she gave me the total I had to ask, "For Both? Really?" I wanted to hug her! I will share pics of before with Blondie, and after and after with Bella Paisley. I am not going to say where we went before I will simply praise Bubble Baths and Beyond and recommend that everyone that gets their dog groomed go there!!! I brought my 8 year old cat, Lance, in this morning for a bath, brush & claw trimming. He was treated so well. The staff is caring and super friendly and helpful. I picked Lance up smelling like a daisy and soft as cotton. I highly recommend this place for your fur babies. read more

I've been taking all 3 of my dogs here for about 5 years. They have always been so sweet to my pets and do a great job. My oldest chihuahua, Miley passed away March 24th. I was sitting on my porch this past Saturday thinking about her and how much I miss her when I got the most thoughtful flower arrangement delivered to me. It was from Bubbles Baths & Beyond. They absolutely did not have to do this but they did. That just shows you what kind of people they are. They always were so sweet to Miley and were always happy to see her. The ladies never spoke to our dogs. They barely spoke to us. The cuts looked great but the customer service was lacking. We didn't want to leave our babies, but our groomer was injured. They ladies weren't friendly when we returned. We won't be back. read more

They were pretty good with my Max who is a chihuahua. I just think that there was more to be done in his grooming. It seems as if the just threw water on him and clipped his nails. Granted I didn't need him to be dried but we were in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. Otherwise, the staff seemed to be pretty courteous. I'll take my Max back there. Bubble Baths and Beyond has always done great with our German Shepherd. She's a highly energetic dog, but she gets anxious in public settings and they educated my family on how to socialize her and make her more comfortable coming in. They are so sweet and kind to her and to us. Not only is their customer service great, but the services that they provide are too! Prissy gets a bath, nail trim, her ears cleaned, and she sometimes gets Furminator treatments to help with her shedding. No complaints at all! They have a small but great selection of products that you can purchase, such as dog shirts, air fresheners, brushes, and more. We love BB&B so much. read more

Love this place!! They are so caring & gentle with animals. One of our dogs was near the end of her journey, but we wanted to get her bathed & cleaned up. We called around & no one would work with her because she couldn't stand up for the full grooming session. They would!!! When we took our dogs in they were immediately petted and hugged on!
