Its hidden in the upstairs suite of a buiding famous for donairs or the iconic 7-11. You can take the elevators up if youre too lazy for stairs. The bubble tea here is authentic. Same as you would get in chinatown. But in a better and cleaner venue. All the typical flavors can be found here. My favourites are the coconut or matcha green tea. The sago is soft. Best part is that they dont overcomplicate the drink like the newer places typically do. And they dont charge for this and that. Sago is included with every drink. Its $5.75 per drink unless you customize it. The service is fast and theres never a stupid line like at other bubbletea joints. Its fast like its meant to be. Get a card stamp for your purchase. Came in here yesterday to treat my daughter who is a HUGE fan of Bubble Tea! The location is a bit odd in that you have to go up a flight of stairs or take the elevator (in the same complex as Eddie's Donair - also good!). The Bubble Teas themselves were freaking FABULOUS! We had fresh fruit slush style mango and strawberry. The texture was perfect and smooth and the sago was just right! We wanted to order the spring rolls but they were out so we settled on a spiral cut potato chip (think french fry like) on a skewer where you could pick the dusting flavour. They were good and my daughter would most definitely want another but at $6 for two, I don't think it's worth the coin. That being said, I would most DEFINITELY come back for the bubble tea but the location is not convenient for me. They also had board games if staying and playing is your thing. I snapped a pic of the wing challenge, so take a peek at my pictures but basically, if you finish the fire hot wings within 5 minutes and no water, you get them free plus win some moola from the money pot! We visited this second floor NE bubbletea joint as a group of 4 for late night bubbletea. I have never been here before and was surprised to find that it was actually getting quite busy when we got there. atmosphere: 3/5 It is located on the second floor; overall cleanliness is satisfactory; some large windows which could be blinding with the sun. A variety of games, but it was also getting pretty loud as the night went on as the place became busier. Plenty of parking spaces in the lot. Food/drink: 3/5 Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering a green tea without sugar which is exactly as the name says. Perhaps this is not representative of the actual bbt menu so I'll have to try something else next time! There were also plenty of other snack options Service: 3/5 Adequate; drinks arrived reasonably quickly Overall: 3/5 I would return again but perhaps to try another drink if I'm in this part of town! read more

With all the great Yelp reviews, had to check it out, as it's tough to find good bubble tea places. Bubble tea isn't something I get normally, more of a treat once in a while. I think I have found my new go to place as it's not a far drive. I got the Fresh Prince (peach, watermelon and lychee) total was $6. Option for real fruits and either milk or slush. I chose milk, but nice options for those that can't have milk. And wow, so good! You can taste a little bit of each and just so refreshing. The prices are reasonable considering how much you pay for a smoothie at places like Booster Juice. As others have mentioned, the location is upstairs. So you can either take an elevator or walk up some stairs. The space is small and cozy, but with the high ceilings it doesn't feel confined. I went when it first opened around 1 so there was no one else there yet, so was very fast in getting my order. Not sure how it is during peak time Will be back to try other flavors but I don't know if any can beat the one I got today. read more

The price of a fresh watermelon fruit smoothie was a little shocking ($5.75), but after tasting it, I was a little more understanding. Made with real watermelon, the smoothie was refreshing and delicious without being overly sweet. The location is a little strange since it is on the second floor of a strip mall, but the large windows let in a lot of natural light. It's not a place I'd linger in, but I think I'll be back for another bubble tea in the near future! read more

Bubbletopia. Pickings are slim when it comes to finding a quality bubble tea in town. If you haven't been before, Bubbletopia is located on the second floor (take the elevator or stairs up) and has a laid back, relaxed atmosphere to it. They have a few board games that you can play (not a very good selection unless you like Jenga, Chinese chess, cards, etc.). They have some snack options as food but I've yet to order anything besides bubble tea. Just BBT me up. The bubble tea options are endless: special mixes, milk tea, fresh fruit, powdered, green/black tea, milkshakes and juice. For the most part, I try to keep things simple and order fresh fruit. - Fresh fruit avocado ($5.75) - finding a fresh avocado bubble tea in Edmonton is like finding a diamond in the rough. I decided to try Bubbletopia's version and sadly, it was only so-so. I subbed in grass jelly, which they were nice enough not to charge me for ($0.75 extra normally). It's hard to find fresh, quality avocados in town which is what I blame the slightly off/weird taste to. The taste did gradually get better, the more it mingled. Guess that's why most people stick with the typical flavours. - Booboo ($5.50) and Fresh prince ($5.50) -the booboo is a blend of watermelon and strawberry with apple jelly pieces. The watermelon is more watery in general but I thoroughly enjoyed it. They could threw in more apple pieces. My friend ordered the Fresh prince and subbed out lychee pieces for sago. Her drink was much more slushy than mine. The sago was surprisingly decent. I believe they make them fresh everyday. - Matcha green tea milkshake ($5.75) and Spirit bomb ($5.50) - really enjoyed the matcha green tea. Perfect consistency and just the right amount of green tea flavour. Might be my new favourite! The Spirit bomb, pineapple and mango slush was also on point. This place is growing on me. Whenever I'm northside, this is the first place that pops into my mind when I want a bubble tea to drink. When you order your drinks to stay and hang out, the BBT comes in tall glasses. Cool stuff. They are open till midnight Friday and Saturday night, hopefully they start changing this to every night! read more

Love that there is still a place to go for good bubble tea in North Edmonton. Dont love that the hours are restrictive and its on the 2nd floor of the building. The interior has vaulted ceilings so you dont feel boxed in and the staff was quick and pretty efficient. There are plenty of games on hand to be used if you wish as well. I picked up 2 bubble teas for myself and my son to go and they were both delish. read more

This is quite close to my house and other stores, which is quite nice! The workers there are kind and will get your order finished very quick. Some drinks may be a little pricy, but it's all worth it! My favourite is probably the quickie bubble milk, which is taro and coconut with pearls. You can also use SkipTheDishes (a app / website) to get this delivered to your house! When you go into the actual building, there are little signs with a code so you can get a discount when ordering with SkipTheDishes. They have board games inside and many spots to sit, but it does get a little loud because of the blender. read more

I took my daughter for a bubble tea. She ordered mango and I chose avocado with fresh milk. The bubble tea was good. No complaints - smooth and tasty. We sat down to play one of the provided games. The music was playing loud and the variety was inappropriate. One song was laced with f*ck off. I let it go. But another song came on with sh!t, f*ck you and a few others. We got up and left. Why would anyone play that kind of "music" in their business? They obviously aren't considering families or adults. read more

Cute little place that opens late on weekends. They have a large selection of drinks and snacks. Boards games for friends to come and enjoy and the staff are super friendly. The staff are friendly and will answer questions happily. Not much table space and can sometimes be quite busy, especially if you want to sit down for some boardgames.
