Having visited the museum, (We spent 5 hours there, including lunch at the restaurant) I will say I 'get it' and have much more of an appreciation for the bikes and the HD community. LOCKERS AVAILABLE We purchased our tickets at the front desk and checked our bags and water into a locker (No need to have money for a locker). If you're visiting in the summer, don't leave your sweater in the locker as the museum was SO COLD! Restrooms are also in this area. WHAT TO EXPECT You will learn about the beginnings and history of HD, their rapid growth, learn about the different parts of the bikes, see hundreds of bikes through the years, see the progression of the HD logo, see a wall of different colored gas tanks (I loved this!) and be able to sit on some bikes. There are info boards to read and it never felt too crowded. ON-SITE RESTAURANT If you get hungry, there's a restaurant next to the river. There was a wait time, but we sat at the bar immediately. I will say, there weren't really healthy options on the menu. We had a burger. HARLEY GIFTS GALORE There's a gift shop across the 'campus' from the main museum. A/C TOO COLD Like I mentioned before, my main complaint was that the museum was WAY too cold, which made the experience slightly miserable. Other than that, it was very interesting and I'd recommend a visit. I'm now completely FASCINATED every time I encounter a Harley on the street! Helpful?

I appreciated that the staff member let me know the bathrooms are on the first floor so I went there first before heading to the start of the museum on the 2nd floor. So many motorcycles to see! It was fun to see how they have progressed over time. The engine wall was beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. I most enjoyed the displays that included anecdotes from the riders. If not going on 4-1-4 day, the museum is $25.

Our sail was very smooth but other months can get very rough which means they sometimes have to cancel because of the wind. Food prices aren't cheap. You're looking at 10 bucks for a sausage English muffin and they don't take cash. Overall the experience is pricey at 500 for two people plus a car. Otherwise five stars for everything else. Make sure to get there at least 45 minutes ahead of time if you have a car. They cram in the cars pretty tight and do a cursory bomb sweep but aren't checking if you brought some "gifts" from Michigan to share with others.

I love how easy the skywalk system makes getting around Milwaukee. I used to live and work downtown and the skywalks were great for getting around in the winter or inclement weather. The location was very easy to find, and everything was incredibly convenient. The tubing hill is right next to the parking lot, the tubes are close to the hill, and there's no walking all over with bulky winter gear -- everything is right there for you, which is especially nice with kids. The employees were friendly and well organized, regulating the flow from the top of the hill. The magic carpet ride makes getting back to the top quick and easy each run. The atmosphere really felt festive with holiday music playing, and the kids loved seeing Santa tubing and even racing them down the hill. The ski chalet was super cute, with fire pits and outdoor seating where families could gather and warm up. We booked online for a 2-hour session at $33 per person and printed our tickets at the kiosk on arrival -- very simple process. It was a bit more expensive compared to other hills we've visited in past years, but it was a new place to explore and we definitely liked it. Overall, Crystal Ridge made tubing easy, fun, and festive. We'd definitely return and recommend it for a family-friendly winter outing.

Kanaloa Tiki provides a captain at no additional fee. The bathroom onboard is small and a few people in our group did use it. Besides the fact that it is such a fun boat with its decorations/theme, the best thing about this boat is seating that is shaded and seating that isn't. It was nice to switch between the two. The boat comes equipped with Bluetooth so you can play your own music. Two hours down the Milwaukee river goes fast! We went all the down to Jones Island and then back to our docking location. There were about 8 of us on the boat and we had plenty of room. We also appreciated the cooler and ice provided by Kanaloa Tiki. You can bring food onboard and there is a nice bar top to put food on. We definitely want to rent this boat again and make it an annual thing!

I have not been fully pleased with the other pontoon rental services in the area who seem to be discombobulated and over run when they're trying to get multiple parties on multiple pontoons at the same time. This was a great experience and well worth the $$.
