Pretty fun place, you can sit on some motorcycles, thy have an area for kids to read, dress up, and ride a fake hog. They have a guess-who game too. There is also a lot of interesting history you learn about, obviously how HD dealt with the ebbs and flows of manufacturing during wars, depressions, etc. Great museum for kids!

Look for the sticker on the mirror or you'll be struggling to get water from the bathroom faucet.

This is a great option, specially when having friends visiting from out of town; the restaurant has a lot of potential but it fell flat. The food was OK. A friend wished he had ordered what my husband had. On a Packer football night, there was a live singer and they didn't show the game at all; even though they had been showing the previous game. Pretty disappointing.

We had the guided tour, which included a visit to the motorcycle vault. The history of the bikes is fascinating, but the way that the tour is presented can get boring at times. It's a no-touch place, which I get, since some of these pieces are artifacts, but having a few more hands-on opportunities here and there would help. Some of my favorite pieces were the police motorcycles and Elvis Presley's bike, too. I had hoped that we would get more photo ops in the vault, which you could ask for, but they secure it so hard that you think you might get sniped if you come too close to anything. It'll get the job done if you're looking for something "interesting" in Milwaukee, but don't expect it to be what the site makes it out to be, unless you're really into Harleys like that.

I really love what they did with the Harley campus. There's plenty of room to park which is rare when you're downtown. The museum is one of many buildings and they have collected so much over the years including rare older bikes used for mail delivery and in the armed forces which was really cool to see. On Thursdays during the summer they also host bike nights with live music, food and drink outdoors and a chance to see some cool bikes. I've also been a few times for private events upstairs and the catering has been absolutely delicious, including charcuterie boards and the like. The staff have been warm and welcoming, too. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and even a little bit curious about the history of Harley.

I came here on a very cold Sunday on a quick family trip. The customer service rep talked us into getting a yearly membership considering it was only 7$ more. The museum itself is very clean and they have a coat rack so we didn't have to lug our heavy winter coats around. I liked that they had a scavenger hunt, of things to find in the museum. It wasn't as easy as we thought and it kept my son engaged for the duration of our visit. I loved the entire museum but my favorite part was the motorcycle vault. It was cool to see all the archived bikes! This museum has something for all ages as there is so much history and information on the motorcycles throughout. We are planning on making a trip back during the summer. Even if you are not motorcycle fanatic; This is a well put together museum that is enjoyable for all.

I'm so glad we decided to stop by this museum! It was such a fun and engaging experience, with the perfect mix of history and interactive exhibits. I took way more photos than I can possibly share because everything was that fascinating--and I'm not even a Harley owner. I especially enjoyed learning about the connections to law enforcement and the role of women in the history, which made the visit even more meaningful. Afterward, we checked out the restaurant and bar across the way, and it was just as impressive. I don't drink, but their non-alcoholic beer was honestly the best I've ever had. This is a must-visit whether you're a Harley fan or just someone who appreciates history presented in a fun, memorable way.

I loved this museum! Every type of Harley Davidson is displayed and brought back many good memories. There are some motorcycles that you are allowed to sit on for picture taking. Don't pass this up. If you are visiting and riding a Harley, there is special front designated parking. That is also interesting to look at, meaning what bikes riders rode to the museum.

    Andrea U.

There was a lot of free parking in front. Admission was $21 to view hundreds of motorcycle styles through the decades. Here we saw Elvis and Evel Knievels Harley's. The Experience Gallery on the bottom floor allowed us to take badass photos, and enjoy interactive exhibits. There was a huge gift shop & restaurant on the premises.

Whether you're a die hard Harley rider or a museum enthusiast, the HD museum has something for everyone. Stocked full of bikes, incredible displays, mind-blowing facts and full blown American ingenuity. There's something for everyone here. I'm a Harley owner and rose 610 miles to visit. Well worth the ride.

On a work trip in Chicago and drove to Milwaukee on my day off to visit the museum. A solo trip was well worth the drive! Beautiful museum you can get lost in for hours. Loved the visuals and history captured on all floors. I also loved the merch store on the corner where I purchased tons of goodies to bring home after an amazing meal and Bev at the restaurant!

I was a good time we're coming to the Harley Davidson Museum restaurant and bar. I love the atmosphere, all the servers are nice and friendly. This is the best salad there is at least I think so. The portion is a good size and the salad is always fresh which I appreciate that's my go to pretty much every single time. Simply delicious and refreshing

The display at this museum is amazing on its own. A little on the pricy side, but still a decent value. We are not Harley Davidson people, but it was interesting to learn the racing history of the bike. Make sure you check out the archives!

Incredible! The museum had everything I hoped it did, particularly, the individual rider photos and their personal stories. I loved the tanks throughout the ages and original military war films. The Harley shop had plenty of stock items in various sizes as well as the treasured, collectible coins. I highly recommend this museum, shop and garage.
