Great Buccee's stop along I-95 near Brunswick. Buc-ee's was founded in 1982 by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and Don Wasek in Clute in Texas In the 44 years of operation it has grown from a modest gas station into a chain of travel centers celebrated for their large facilities and excellent bathroom cleanliness. As of 2024, Buc-ee's operates 50 locations across nine states, with 35 in Texas and two in Georgia. This location is on the east side of I95 just north of the Golden Isles Welcome center and just south of the Altamaha river. It has a lot of roundabouts to get to and from the building. If you are comfortable with these traffic circles then you will probably like the entry and exits. The gas pumps are all in a row on the north side of the building. There is a cute bbq sauce sign close to the road on the south side of the building. The layout of the store is very similar to most other stores with really clean restrooms located along the back with the food in the center, the essentials to one side and the other sale items to the opposite side of the large open room. Gas prices were good. We picked up some candied pecans and drinks. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall, a good location to stop for a break, shopping and gas on the way to your location. read more

Wonderful Bucees in Georgia. Very new location with one row of gas pumps and a nicer layout than some of the older stores. Great products as usual. The fudge was awesome, rock road. The warm coated nuts are the best. Got bucees shorts too with the beaver on them. Fun place. Extremely crowded and popular store. read more

This is an awesome Buc-ee's! Let me preface by saying that we stopped by early in the morning around 1am but it was truly great! There was no traffic getting off 95 and the roundabouts make it pretty easy to cross over and get into the parking lot. We got some gas because it was cheaper than in Jacksonville and so I decided to top off. We went inside to use the restroom, get some drinks and I needed some cough drops and nasal spray since I had a cold. I found everything I needed! The nasal spray was only $2. So much cheaper than a drug store. They also had the honeeyz cough drops with real honey and they had the regular and menthol varieties. I got a hot coffee and we got some soft drinks as well. The restrooms were nice and clean. The check out was a breeze! They have more gas pumps than the Daytona or St. Augustine location which was great. I would easily stop in on my next trip north! read more

We stopped for gas and breakfast. When on I95 its our go to place. This is the first time I am disappointed at a Buc-ee's. We got a sausage egg & cheese biscuit which was delicious and a bacon egg $ cheese biscuit which had a little piece of fat on the side and no bacon !!! We checked the receipt and we where charged for a bacon sandwich. We got our gas first and the food and left. We where to far to turn around to complain. From now on we will check our food orders from Buc-ees of Georgia. read more

Done and Done With Buc-ees! On my recent trip through the area, stopped for some gas and quick bite/snack. It was early in the AM so I didn't expect much and there wasn't much there. No don't get me wrong, these places typically offer a variety of choices but I don't choose many things as the ingredients on most of their food is terrible and filled with chemicals, seed oils and preservatives. I went for some chicken salad. Ooops! Nope, couldn't get that. You should see the list of bad ingredients. Looked and looked and best thing I found was a fruit salad. Took it out to the car and took one bite. Terrible. The fruit was solid as a rock and tasted terrible. Who is in-charge of this stuff? Returned to the store and had to get a manager to do a return. Jarrod was the manager. A sarcastic, rude person who would only allow me to get another fruit salad with the same terrible quality. Tried to get credit for something else and wasn't allowed to. So I left the item and walked away knowing full well that Buc-ees stole from me and committed fraud. Now I have unfortunately bought some of their over priced clothing and travel items. The bathrooms were better than most places, but the water in the faucets was way too hot, the red and green lights didn't correctly show which stalls were occupied, and I did see one clogged toilet. We tried a few food items: the brisket sandwich was very good, the coconut cream pie cup was decent, but we wouldn't get it again, and we don't understand why people like the Beaver Nuggets. 3-4 stars: I'd stop here again for their good bathrooms and perhaps for food. This was the cleanest and calmest Buc-ee's. I've ever been to and I have been to a few. Smooth getting in and out of the establishment by car. The food was well stocked and generous in portion size. We tried the sausage and it was pretty good; it's really just sausage wrapped in a tortilla. We got the Beaver nuggets as that's always a family favorite. Buc-ee's is ok. My only issues with all of the prepared meals have meat in them and I don't eat meat. I had to go somewhere else to grab food. Also, almost all of their snacks are made with bad/unhealthy ingredients. read more

I've been watching this location build and was delighted to find it open on my last trip. We visited on the site's third day of business and it was a family member's first ever Buc-ee's experience. Yes, the gas stalls, store, and parking lot were packed with guests. However, getting fuel, food, snacks and parking wee all easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. My first timer family member is now a raving fan. If you're traveling, Buc-ee's is clean and has anything you need. And grab a pic with the happy beaver out front. Purchased several items back in November, among them was food and chips.. started down the road and bit into a chip that was so hard I broke a tooth. Went to the dental clinic the next morning and found that the tooth could not be restored and requires a implant, which has begun..I filed a claim with Buckees for damages just for restoration and was denied. I was told there were no other complaints so my claim was denied. Whether there were any other claims or not, my tooth broke and I was just looking for damages for replacement. Came to buc--ee's to get some gas and a healthy snack. After reviewing the labels of all the fresh made food items filled with chemicals I decided on a $5 fruit cup. ( I dare anyone to look at the ingredients list, it's disgusting) I checked out and a at down in my car to start eating it and the melon was hard as a rock. I immediately went return the item. Apparently you need a manager for that, the manager came out to inform me a can't have a refund but I can have another fruit cup with hard fruit. That's the end of buc-ees for me. If you are a company that doesn't make good for the product you are selling I'm not buying. Totally un-American. The parking and traffic within the parking lot and entering/exiting is ridiculous here. They need to have parking lot attendants or some additional routes in and out, because there's no reason that the main road outside of the parking lot is clear but we sat in 10 minutes of traffic waiting to leave. Bucees oh Bucees, the place where my life has completely changed. Me and my boyfriend arrived at the palace of Bucees, hungry, low on gas, full bladder and worst of all... no Bucees merch. We pulled over and filled the tank for $2.50/gal. Yes, you heard me right $2.50/gal. My bank account was satisfied with that as we have been traveling with a truck that devours gas. But it doesn't end here. We walk in through the magical gates of Bucees and feel the angelic breeze and godly smell of bbq that's been freshly displayed. Immediately, we rush to the restrooms where multiple clean stalls call our names, begging for us to sit and void in them. As we step out after feeling empty getting an exorcism in the bucees restroom releasing whatever demon that was living inside us. We immediately run over to the merch, our eyes light up after seeing the knife sharpener that we talked about needing for the past year, right in front of us but in bucees design. After 5 minutes, our cart was filled with Bucees themed merch, we finally fulfilled our life destiny of obtaining Bucees merch. Once we started heading to checkout, the most amazing smell hit our noses and filled our sinuses... The bbq sandwiches, HOW COULD WE FORGET?! So we went and snatched up some bbq sandwiches and drinks to rinse the tastebuds. We also grabbed some Bucees teriyaki beef jerky. The thought of the jerky made my mouth salivate with excitement. We finally check out... after fighting through the crowd of snowbirds, we approached the cashier. She looked at us with the thousand yard stare, as she seen some things that have occurred at Bucees. The soulless cashier stared deep into our souls, trying to steal it but managed to be friendliest person in the entire place. After she reads us our total, my wallet is crying for mercy as I dig out my card. It tries to fight me as I insert it into the payment machine. It fought a good battle, but still lost. In defeat, my card gets approved and we carry our bags out to the truck where the last part of our journey home awaits us. But this review doesn't end here, I need to try the sandwich... I excitedly open my sandwich, and the smell of fresh bbq turkey fills the nostrils and I instantly drool everywhere. I bite into the sandwich and my mouth instantly Os. am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding an experience I had at your Georgia location. As a loyal customer and a diabetic, I made what I considered to be a simple and reasonable request -- a brisket sandwich without barbecue sauce. To my astonishment, I was told that Buc-ee's "does not do any special orders." Let me be perfectly clear: asking for a sandwich without sauce is not a "special order." It is a basic modification -- one that takes no additional effort, time, or resources -- and, in my case, it is a medical necessity. To refuse such a minimal request demonstrates an alarming lack of consideration for customers with legitimate dietary restrictions. Buc-ee's has built a brand on hospitality, quality, and customer experience. Yet this policy, as enforced by your staff, sends the opposite message -- that Buc-ee's values rigid policy over human decency. I was left with the impression that my health and business were of no consequence. I urge Buc-ee's corporate leadership to immediately review and revise this policy to ensure that customers with dietary or medical needs are treated with respect and common sense. Good clean restrooms, gas reasonably, The food they offer is fair to good depending upon how long it was sitting. I tried a chicken sandwich, a little tough and dried out. The sauce helped but would never get another chicken anything. Other sandwiches tried were ok. Coffee ok, soda fountain no brand names except for DR Pepper - only Buckee flavors, yes bottle soda is available... buckee offers lot of their merchandise.. you can easily spend $50 and not realize it.
