Delicious brisket sandwich, but the low quality gasoline caused my new car to end up at the service department of the dealership. They determined the bad quality gasoline is what caused my car's engine to sputter and stop working correctly. Thanks, Buc-ees, for nearly ruining my vacation. read more

August 1st, we passed many gas station options, and held out for the Buc-ee's. The anticipation (and essential relief) was building with every passing billboard. I was immediately greeted with enthusiasm when I walked in. It's nice to know you're seen, but it's special when it's so genuine. We purchased lunch (my first time) road snacks and drinks. The checkout clerk was fast and friendly. I asked when they opened and she said they had opened one month, to the day, earlier. We got to the car and realized we needed another car charger. I ran back in, this time I grabbed my personal water bottle to top off with ice and water. I placed the charger at checkout and Hannah asked if I had a Coke refill. Confused, I answered no, just this, scooting the charger towards her. Maybe she hadn't noticed it. Hannah, clarified, in the bottle, nods towards my Owala. I said, ah, no. Hannah tilts her head downwards while maintaining eye contact with me. It became evident that Hannah was suggesting that she didn't believe me. I started to unscrew the lid to show her, and assured her I had gotten ice and water. She charged me 79¢! I asked questions. She wasn't helpful. I thought maybe she was confused (they were newly open), I know some places charge if you use their cups. Makes sense. She wouldn't hear it. I asked for a supervisor. I was surprised it took as long as it did, but eventually Kathryn (Asst Manager I think) popped up. At this point, I'm now thinking of my party waiting patiently in the car for me. The 79¢ seemed ridiculous. But, then it seemed ridiculous either way! Kathryn reiterated Hannah's non-negotiable 79¢. I pointed out that the signs say any size cup of ice is 79¢ and shows a picture of the Buc-ee's disposable cups. Kathryn was inappropriately smug, "water is expensive". Alright. That's where we were. So, I start pulling a dollar out of my purse (charger already paid for) I asked Kathryn if there was a corporate number I could call. She scoffed with a bit of a chuckle and said "oh no. We have two owners". She went on, "you should call them! You can share your concerns with them!" Yes, it was a taunting tone. I could go on with the LACK of normal, informative, communicative, simple exchange. It's been 10 days. I'm back home to my busy life and that interaction still rubs me the wrong way. Kathryn "encouraged " me to enclose the picture I took of the sign. I think Buc-ee's should reconsider the verbiage. It's such a simple sign and yet interpreted so differently. read more

The food was lowkey not very good, we tried the chicken fingers and it tasted less than average, I had a club melt and it was DISCUSTING. absolutely awful smell and taste. So bad I had to spit it out and genuinely didn't wanna eat after it bc it turned off my entire appetite. the best gas station around! it seems like they arr the only gas station that carries 100% ethanol free gas now days. the have the cleanliness bathroom anywhere! and alot 9f the 4o choose from. great grab and go food chooses along with great bbq! gas stations nation wide nerd have this standard of service or better... if that is possible .. read more

Stopped to use gas station and grab something quick. The Sliced Brisket sandwiches are delicious...extremely tender meat, comes with a few condiments (onions, pickles, extra sauce) for around $8. Also there's a million gas pumps and the inside is like a Cracker Barrel merchandise store on crack. The bathrooms are great - light indicators to show which ones are available. Purchased some pralines and Sorry Buc-ee's but these are NOT real pralines...you guys should know better selling these in Georgia....shame on you! They really need to redesign their parking lot for better traffic flow....this parking lot was full of incompetent drivers (squared), someone nearly drove into me because they didn't know where to go and were clearly distracted by the frenzy. And another thing! Not enough parking...and Buc-ees, get some tables and chairs for your customers for cryin' out loud...I don't think you're hurting in the profit category - spend some cash for seating or high tables - something! Overall, a good stop for bathroom break. read more

Visited the store in Brunswick GA right off i95 on October 2nd -purchased $110 worth of gifts etc and realized I grabbed two incorrect items. was in a hurry to get to NY for a wedding and figured we would stop on our way home on the 5th.. Stopped to exchange for correct items and they would not exchange or help me out with the incorrect items - car freshers - refills - needed the device to use.. Long story short said NOPE can't exchange unless for the same item? $50 wasted - Called PURA the company who's item I purchased and they said that there is a return policy of 30 days - which I was well under and that the store should have allowed the return or exchange. Emailed the store directly since no phone number - several times and still nothing. Side note.. stopped at several and spend at least $100 each time for gifts etc and gas and will no longer be stopping again. FRUSTRATED and beyond annoyed. Now have items I can not use - ever. Wish they had better customer service. read more

Over crowed and all of the food is premade. They do not accommodate allergy issues. It is a Loves Travel Center only on steroids. Would I return - no, only if I need to fill up with gas and then I would go. Parking is a challenge. read more

stopped for gas, price excellent; however somewhat confusing entrance & exit back to I95. So busy many people left their cars locked without drivers after filling gas tanks at the pumps, so we were stuck for awhile (towing camper), noticed dangerous cars had to back out of spaces. Perhaps signage or more parking spaces would help read more

Starving with dietary restrictions on a Sunday night driving through states of gas stations and fast food. I'm staring at a giant dead animal of brisket sliced fresh at buc-ees. They won't sell me plain brisket unless it's saturated in bbq and on a bun I can't eat. I'm leaving hungry and pissed. read more

Very clean restrooms and store. Gas was about average for interstate gas prices. Needed a little more variety in their food section. Place is super busy during the day and parking is little bit crazy. I do not get why this place is so special. read more

If you do not like crowds and chaos DO NOT come here. We spent 15 minutes just on the ramp to enter the parking lot. I honestly thought that someone was at the parking lot entrance stopping each vehicle to charge admission, that's how long it took. We neither got gas or food. We used the bathroom and left. It also took us about another 10 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. My first and last Bucees experience! We will never come back! read more

Very disappointed! Bought a Woodstock Warmee from Buccees in Florence while traveling for my 5 year old only for it to get a hole in it in 2 days. A few days later we were traveling and passed back by and exchanged it for another with the receipt at the Florence store. On the way home from vacation the second Woodstock Warmee's wing came completely off. Of course I didn't know where the exchange receipt was, who would have thought I would need to take it back again?! At the Brunswick location the manager Angie was contacted regarding the issue to which she did not even have time to discuss the issue with me because she had something that was obviously better to do. She refused to let me return or even exchange the Woodstock Warmee. Very unprofessional, rude, and thought it was a good idea to discuss me being upset with other employees HOWEVER could not discuss it with me since she blatantly just walked off from the register without even speaking to me. Would not recommend this store! Poor management to say the least! Wouldn't spend money here if someone gave me the money to spend there! read more
