The only thing I didn't see was a Buckees brand turd and smilie face emogis stress ball. That logo was on E-VEr-Ry-Thing! You have to go several times to really experience all that it has to offer. We stopped at Buc-ee's on our way home after driving to Killeen during snowvid-21. I'd heard about them in some Facebook videos so it was a must stop. OMG! I could've spent hours in there. There was so much to look at. My husband and I spent at least an hour in there. The workers seemed happy to be there and the food was fresh. The restroom was very clean and well stocked. I don't think we even saw everything because this place is so big. They do a great job keeping everything clean. We're actually looking forward to going back when we drive to Texas again. While we were planning our drive through Texas to visit family we were unanimously given one piece of advice: STOP AT BUC-EE'S!!! The billboards started welcoming us in like an hour before we would arrive. We had planned our breaks perfectly and the restrooms and gas pumps at Buc-ee's became our oasis in the Texas heat. As you pull in it's a buyer's market on which of the roughly five thousand gas pumps you would prefer to pull up to. Gas prices were certainly reasonable and the exterior was extremely clean. The store itself was very clean and had tons of stuff to choose from for snacks and meals. This was just a snack pit stop so I went with a drink and some fudge. Next time the BBQ shall be tested. The one HUGE negative in my eyes is there was an insane amount of people in the store not wearing a mask. I'm not sure of the COVID protocols in Texas but I know that having roughly half of the 2-300 people in the shop without masks is not a good idea. Definitely held my breath as much as possible and got in and out. So, be warned. read more

I can't say enough good things about Buc-ee's. Every one that I visited has been incredible!! At this one I've spent the most money so far. I didn't stop here on a road trip, I came here specifically to check this one out as it is the closest one to my home. Dog potty areas: Fantastic! Cute signs & well stocked poop-bag & waste disposal. Well maintained grassy areas for rover. Public bathrooms: Almost as nice as your grandmothers house! No stalls!! Every toilet is in its own room with floor-to-ceiling walls! Warm water at the sinks in winter for your cold hands. Clothes, camping gear, hunting accessories, dishes, cookware, chairs, decorations? Yes - plenty of it. Food? Oh. Holy. Crap. They have EVERYTHING. E V E R Y T H I N G. Gas: You will never ever wait for a pump because they have SO many. Customer service? The incredibly sweet man who checked me out asked if I needed any extra utensils, napkins or BBQ sauce with my sandwich. The nice lady cleaning the coffee station kindly watched my basket when I used the bathroom. The sweet young man who was stocking the T-shirt section I was in noticed I had an arm full of things and offered to go get me a basket to carry them in. This place is just incredible. I have some mad love for Buc-ee's. We were in the area and decided to stop in for their cheap drinks. The bathrooms are so clean and they have a bunch too so no lines. They have a great area for coffee and HPR chocolate complete with huge bottles of Ghirardelli chocolate syrups, creamers and whipped cream. I love the little kitchen items and soaps but they can be a tad on the pricey side. They have amazing looking pastries which I plan on trying my next visit. I have had their BBQ sandwiches and they were quite tasty. The fudge, oh my, don't get me started on that yummy goodness. They also have a beef jerky counter with many different types of jerky. The employees are all pleasant and will greet you when you come in. There are always employees cleaning up around the store which I love. Gas prices were competitive when I filled up. I usually enjoy bucees cheap gas, nice restrooms and good brisket when I make my weekly drive from Dallas to East TX. However, last week I got a sliced brisket sandwich which was at least half fat and virtually inedible. Since I was already on the road I didn't turn around to take it back, but figured they'd make it right on my trip the next weekend. Fast forward a week and I bring the situation to the attention of the manager, who apologizes and assures me that their brisket is lean cut with the fat trimmed, so I guess I just imagined the whole thing, and without a receipt and the sandwich there's nothing he can do. That's unfortunate, because I really like Bucees, but I appreciate being respected even more so I won't be returning to this location. read more

Now that we have family living near by we will definitely be making return trips!! It's like a mini sized Canton First Trade Days all in one place! I could get lost in this store for days just looking at stuff I want to purchase and then never buy the same thing twice 5 STARS Restrooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and asked if you needed help finding anything. Cashiers were fast, courteous and very friendly!! Cinnamon sugar pecans were hot and very fresh. Beef jerky was delicious!! This is the new location in Royse City. The employees were nice and very helpful. There was an employee near the soda fountain area and he loved to tell me about the sodas and how some of the brands they have compare to major brands. He seemed very nice. Not sure if Buc-ee's can help with the issue of parked, unmanned cars at the pumps, but when we were trying to find a spot to get gas, this looked like a major issue and it was actually hard to find an empty gas pump. I like Buc-ee's but I don't think I will be back at this location until the hype dies down some. It was pretty chaotic inside. read more

We happened to make a stop here on Black Friday. We thought it was a gas station with a really large convenience store -which is what it is... it kinda felt like a grocery store, but it's not. And it kinda felt like a Cracker Barrel, but it's not. Did I mention that it was Black Friday? It did have like a little smokehouse sandwich counter, but I didn't stop. There was a beaver Santa, so that was something new to see. I've never seen one of these places before, but I thought it was pretty cool overall. I am so happy this Buc-ee's opened up. It's right on my route that I take to visit family out in the beautiful Texas countryside and it's a great pit stop. After being stuck in miserable Dallas traffic for an hour (or more) I also need a bathroom, a drink, and a snack to make the rest of the drive! They have a forest of gas pumps (I'd say maybe 50?!) so you never have to wait for one. The bathrooms are as clean as advertised--literally every time I go there is always an attendant cleaning them. They must have someone constantly cleaning up, which is cool since many gas station restrooms require a hazmat suit for entry. In addition to the clean restrooms the store itself is always neat, tidy, and clean. You barely have to wait in line to check out with your items as they have plenty of registers and staff to ring you up. They have an amazing range of snacks, from their own line to national brands and local artisanal brands. Their beaver merch is cool and they change it up frequently. They also sell cool gifts and housewares and other random items that I never knew I needed but always want to purchase when I see them. read more
