They usually have enough cashiers staffed, so you don't have to rely on self-checkout when you have a full cart, which is a huge plus for me. I also appreciate that they have baggers during busy times, which makes the checkout process much smoother and faster. Their wine and beer selection is one of my favorites, and the meat quality is good as well. Prices on meat have started to get a bit high, but that seems to be the case at most grocery stores lately, so I wouldn't take points away from them for that.

NOPE, the self check-out clerk, (not even the person I checked out with as I went through the normal line due to having so many items) stopped us and asked if we had paid for our sodas. I checked the receipt as again I had worked with two other clerks who had taken care of such and verified I did. This was embarrassing, harassment, and terrifying for my daughter who spoke about the experience for days after. While all this occurred plenty of people continued to check out in the area she was supposed to be watching, where actual theft could have occurred due to her involvement in a situation that didn't concern her. This was on February 9th and the associates name was Daniela. I would have given two stars as it's a beautiful store but after reporting this to corporate the manager was supposed to contact me that same day . Must be a horrible place to work. I will not go back there. Kroger spends millions of dollars on advertising, but their stores desperately need customer service improvement.
