This hotel is really nice…read more Been here a few times and returned under their special winter pkg. Occupancy was low. Room was clean. Restaurant was excellent. Breakfast food and service excellent. Large portions. Starbucks coffee free, front desk in morning fantastic. Makes no sense, you can bring free coffee into Restaurant but if you order it with breakfast, $5.00. Front desk, Jacob evening fantastic. Some daytime staff at desk unfriendly and so, so. Shower, no cold water in couple rooms, some only hot water. Still overall recommended. Nice pool and hottub. Large event space and easy parking. Ps Robes are very nice and worth $75. If you need one.

The hotel is four diamond AAA rated and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the elevators are quick to serve. If you need insight into the local attractions or directions, their Concierge will be more than happy to assist. The on-site restaurant, Seaway Grille, is AMAZING, plus they have a full bar and patio seating. I will, most definitely, choose the 1,000 Islands Harbor Hotel for future visits and highly recommend it to all Yelpers.

The room itself didn't have a fridge or a coffee pot, but right outside of our room was an area with coffee, ice, refrigerator, toaster, bagels, breads, yogurt and more. The location of this Inn was super close to restaurants and the Harbor(right in front of the Harbor), Sackets Harbor village is lovely also! I would definitely stay there again. It is located on Lake Ontario. Highly recommend!

Judy was wonderful managing our reservation and warmly greeted us when we arrived. I like the concept of boutique hotels but sometimes find they can be too cramped or stuffy, not the Harbor House Inn. It's intimate but rooms are spacious so you feel like you can breathe. The room was absolutely amazing, farmhouse chic with a splash of coastal aesthetic. The soaking tub was to die for! The bed was very comfy. All the staff were friendly. Our room had a partial view of the lake, was a welcome surprise. The hotel is right in the center of town, perfect walking location to the battlefield, shops and eateries. All we wanted was a night away from the little ones but Harbor House Inn delivered a sweet experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return. It was worth the money spent!

A few weeks ago, my daughter called me and said that we should go on a "Staycation". I did not know…read morewhat this meant. She explained that many people were doing this to save money in transportation when going to other places. It meant we stay in Kingston, where we live, and enjoy re-discovering our town, taking tours, we had not done before, disconnecting for a few days of our jobs, and most important, spending time just us: mother and daughter. What a wonderful surprise it was for me to arrived at Frontenac Club to spent 3 days together. This boutique hotel is one of a kind located in the heart of downtown Kingston. We parked the car in the parking lot of the hotel during all our stay, as we were able to walk to the sites we wanted to visit. Also, within walking distance are the best restaurants in town. We were given two marvelous suites, one with a full living room, king bed, and an astonishing bathroom with a bathtub. The other one was also very impressive with all the amenities needed. Both suites were impeccable clean! Every morning, we went down to their restaurant called "The Bank" where we had a well served and complete breakfast (included), and the last day we dine there (tapas), accompanied by life music and the tastiest margaritas I have ever had. Frontenac Club personnel make a special point to get to know their guests. With 20 suites, all with different themes and sizes, they catered families, singles and couples. They have a sweet bar and small arcade for children, a lounge to read and play games, a patio to relax, enjoy the weather while having meals served also there. It is important to note that Frontenac Club is a heritage historic house build in 1871, and although it has been completely and beautifully renovated, it has kept its special character. It was home to one of the first Canadian Bank of Montreal, and therefore there is a vault, so large that it has been conditioned to host business meetings or private celebrations. I highly recommend staying at Frontenac Club. If you are celebrating an anniversary, or a family gathering (my brother and his family stayed here when they visited us from overseas), or if you are celebrating another special occasion, or coming to Kingston as a tourist, or as a staycation guest, you will not be disappointed!

The Wooden Boat Inn offers different types of accommodations you can rent a house but think they only rent that by the week. Then they have 6 different rooms available all which have a different layout and shocking but true all are updated! The first thing when looking at the place from the outside you think or we did was it's got a nautical theme. It looked well maintained on the outside which made me pull in to check on availability and rates. I lucked out the owners Tom & Carol were there and they showed us around and were a wealth of knowledge about the area but back to that in a minute. The first room that they took us to was called Room Six the door opened and I waited for that musky , moldy , dirty smell..... To my surprise it didn't have any odor at all I couldn't believe it plus it was updated new furniture , tv etc... Next we checked out Rooms 1 thru 5 and again found them all clean , no odor and updated. Back to the owners Tom & Carol they are truly wonderful from the information they shared to the little extras they did for us. They went above and beyond in ever aspect to make us feel welcome and special. We were so impressed we booked a full week for later in the summer. My rating of 5 stars is because I have never stayed in as clean Motel as this plus it's updated and the owners just make this place so welcoming.....

The Comfort Inn was great and perfectly fit our needs - there was a BBQ happening when we arrived (free!) and so my kids and I ate, swam, and then snacked on warm waffles and popcorn before bedtime. Morning was made easy with a great diverse breakfast, too. Well worth every penny and we will actively seek out Comfort Inns in our future travels. The service was wonderful all around - super-friendly front desk, and a very kind woman got my daughter and I a tray so we could bring breakfast back to our room (because my two other children were still asleep). What a great way to rest/stop, especially for a parent travelling alone with younger kids.

So frustrating but more so because it was the third set of doors that went to the restaurant. I went in and the sign said I should proceed to the right. Since the woman at the front desk was helping someone else I made the mistake of believing the sign. Stupid me! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Found the restaurant and our group at 6:18. The ambiance was very nice. The waitress was professional and helpful and accommodating. She was great. The appetizers excellent. We had six main dishes. The pasta was not cooked to al dente, closer to underdone. The salmon was good and so was the risotto. The Osso Bucco was tough and hard to eat. Oddly the meat was falling off the bone but the meat was still tough. The meatloaf was horrible, worst meal I have had in years. The waitress was wise enough to not ask how the meal was. She did not inquire why I didn't want a box for my uneaten meal. The greens that came with the meatloaf were undercooked. The masked potatoes were delicious. My conclusion is that the food is inconsistent and the failure of the waitress to ask how things were or anything reflects that she has wisely learned not to ask. Again, she was great.
