Though the guy at the door didn't acknowledge my presence while he did for others when I entered, Racha was very friendly and accommodating when I wanted to try on a couple of options I had in mind. The options are pretty limited but if you know what you want and you know it's in stock, the whole process is very easy and smooth. Great store with a very good selection (online) and customer service. I have bought several pieces from them both in store and online and the service has been top-notch. The sales associates answer all my questions and very friendly and knowledgeable (and honest) letting me try on different pieces. They offer snacks and refreshments when you make purchases with them (obviously a very minor thing, but it really makes you feel like they're going out of their way to accommodate you.) I've come in periodically for them to look at my watches to give me a quick once over, which they do for free. Also every location has a watchmaker on staff who can do basic adjustments. Keep in mind you can walk over to W. 47th St. and probably get a better deal on a watch, but they are just as many crooked dealers as there are honest ones on that block. I once had a watch dealer on W. 47th St. who reeked of pot smoke tell me that he would authenticate the watch. He sold me, no thanks. With Bruchere I know that I am getting the real deal. Don't buy a watch from this place. If it breaks or requires any type of fix whatsoever they'll make it a nightmare for you to get fixed. Customer service is 0/10. You call them and they aren't allowed to give repair updates. Next thing you know 8 weeks goes by and not a single phone call with an eta. Not even 1 email. read more

Be forewarned before bringing your timepiece here for repair. They do not meet their estimated timelines nor does their repair center communicate adequately with customers. I brought my watch here for repair, and the initial estimate was over a thousand dollars, and was scheduled for 10 weeks, but 2 weeks later the price went up more than $300 and the parts changed completely and no one would call me back. When I called the store for escalation, the sales rep said it was not their responsibility and I needed to contact the repair center. Consequently I am caught up in a circle of hell where no one takes responsibility and no one calls me back. Been here on several occasions and I have always been approached with the utmost respect and courtesy. This Tourneau location is definitely my favorite of the 3 in NYC mainly due to the staff that works there. The first time I went there to browse their inventory and one kind gentleman made me leave with several Rolex books and magazines when I didn't even make a purchase. More recently I randomly walked in a little over a month back when I was starting to search for my first Rolex. I encountered Anthony who showed me a couple of their pre-owned watches before he found out I wanted a two-tone Rolex Submariner. He pulled one out the back but to my disappointment it was the version with the blue dial/bezel when I thought it was the model with the black dial/bezel. As many watch dealers may do, I left Anthony with my information in case one showed up. Fast forward a month later, Anthony had been consistently communicating via email and let me know the watch I've had my eye on had finally come in. Since it was a Rolex sport model I knew it would sell pretty quickly if left out in their case so Anthony and his manager Arianna were able to hold it for me for a few days as I live out of state in NJ. Both were present when I finally came in to purchase the watch and were extremely pleasant to work with. I had them ship the watch to my location in NJ since I could save a few hundred due to the lower sales tax. Shipping took 1 day and was packed very safely with no issues! This Tourneau has a pretty impressive Tourneauver each year. Get it. Get it. One of the most expensive places I've ever seen so it's basically for anyone with an extraordinarily expensive watch. I didn't find the customer service to be too awful by any means - maybe if you're judging by much higher standards, but I don't really go in places like this. We were just checking it out because Barbie was thinking of getting me a very very fancy birthday present. I convinced her not to but I think it was an excuse just to come in here and feel rich. I had a wonderful experience with Klaus at Tourneau Bryant Park. I had been eyeing a Rolex Explorer for weeks. Explorers are still difficult to get as they sell out very quickly. I told Klaus that I wanted to get the watch to celebrate a big life moment, and he said that he was confident he could get me the Explorer. I gave him my contact information and hoped for the best. A couple of weeks later, I got a message from Klaus that my Explorer had come in. I was thrilled that Klaus got me the watch so quickly. I have to do an update because I was hunting another 2 watches and i have to say... if Tourneau offered this brand I would have just went to them by default. Psttt.... Offer Grand Seiko please. Reason 1: You can't go wrong from the staff in the Bryant Park location. From Marielis, Klaus, Ariana -- whether you're an enthusiast, getting a gift for your husband/wife, or just curious, you want sales reps to not only assist you in getting what you need but do it with care and details without the snobbery attitude in which happens in other stores which is why I normally go to the "gray market" (a.k.a. reseller). Reason 2: I would like for anyone to try to go to other stores and see if other staff know watches. I'm not trying to be snobbish and expect people to know each reference number and caliber--I mean, can you tell me more than the brand name? lol But if you don't know watches well--you want someone who has a good knowledge to guide you (not just point to the most expensive watch on the displays) or point the most well known brands. Reason 3: Convenience. Middle of Manhattan, tied to other tourist locations if you're from out of town with multiple ways of getting into that location. Sounds silly--but it matters to some people. Side note: They also sell pre-owned watches. If you have a reference number in mind they may be able to spot one for you--its most likely to be priced higher than Chrono24, /watchexchange and other external sources but if you're not 100% about a watch this is your safe bet in acquiring one and also it includes their warranty (ask them for detail information about a pre-owned and what it covers) . Got to the store before opening and Klaus was kind enough to get permission for the manager to let me in before the official opening time. Klaus was very warm and welcoming from the start he showed me a couple of variations of the steel datejust 41 with different dial, bezel, and bracelet options was a very quick and smooth transaction. My journey with this Tourneau(now Bucherer 3 Bryant Park) location started in 2018 when I got my very first luxury watch and one of the sales representatives helped me in picking up a perfect model as I was a bit confused between two potential watches. She later introduced me to Klaus Olivet who is probably one of the best in business when it comes to any watches be it specification, details, movements and so on. He is extremely knowledgeable, organized, courteous and detail oriented. He is very serious when it comes to watches that he maintains his own notes/logs (which speaks a lot about him). I highly regard him and thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He is usually very busy as he has lot of clients, however, he makes it a point to check with you whenever you are there in person for any kind of service or reach out to him offline via email/text. Whenever I had a question for Klaus, he was always friendly, enthusiastic, and genuine - I had a phenomenal customer experience each time we spoke. He did help me to get servicing for couple of my watches - I scratched the bezel by wearing a bracelet, and the other needed full service as it was not keeping well with time (it needed overhaul/full service). Whenever I need any clarification related to watches, I consult with him. He has given me sound advice as a friend every time, not even once as a salesman. He also helped me to get one of my dream watch in 2020 that I wear only on special occasions. Recently, I wanted to get a special watch for my dad, who retired last year due to COVID-19. I haven't seen him in person for more than 1.5 years now and wanted to get a special watch for him on his 70th birthday in August. I did speak about this to Klaus (5-6 months ago), who was upfront and assured me, he will do his best to get it, however he did mention, it will be difficult to put an exact date on it. I understand that these watches are expensive and status symbols, etc., I've owned a few Rolexes and Patek Phillipe watches in my day, but does that mean the staff has to look down there noses at customers and make them feel uncomfortable? I've always liked going to Tourneau, but this visit has made the Bryant Park location my absolute favorite! I have purchased from this location in the past, and always fondly recall the friendly and professional staff. My experience this time was no different. I was walking around town and decided to pop in and try my luck re. a Rolex sport model I had been hunting for all over the world (literally!). Arianna saw me as soon as I walked in and I was very pleasantly surprised that she remembered me from the last time I made a purchase at this location. Arianna was extremely warm and welcoming, which was a far cry from several other ADs I have been to. Her personal touch really went a long way. Klaus was the rep that I mentioned my sport model quest to, and he listened to me very patiently. He took down my info and said he would let me know if the watch I was looking for came in.
