Donna C. reviewed the wrong place; these reviews are for Buck & Grill not the Buck Diner that used to be HWY 55. With that cleared up, Buck & Grill's fresh, hot food is the best! Try a fresh off the grill rib combo with greens and hushpuppies, soo good you'll want to smack somebody! Nicest folks ever but remember this is no indoor seating but some nice umbrella covered picnic tables! read more

I found this place by accident on my way home and "something" told me to stop and check it out. THANK YOU "SOMETHING"!! Man let me tell you - I been eating catfish my whole life and this was some of the best I ever had!! There's definitely "something" in the seasoning or the batter that sets this apart from other places. And it was perfectly "crispity" with the lil crunchy bits at the edges. Will I be back? Yes. I order a takeout from here. Lunchtime. The food was fresh and hot but man the two sides I selected were not good in my opinion. It was Mac and cheese with fried okra. Don't recommend. BUT!!! I ordered fried catfish as a main. And it WAS GREAT! Fish was fresh. Hot. Flaky. read more

My son asked the girl bellowing numbers where 71 was and she said, "we are only on 68." And has proceeded to bellow out the number 75 no less than 10 times. They have now called 78 and still no ice cream and no coke float. How does this make any sense? And she's rude because she's mad she had to remake someone's snow cones, cool I'd be upset too but at the end of the day I don't understand how an ice cream cone can take longer than ANYTHING else to make. I was so excited to come out and find a cool place to hang out and now it appears I'll keep looking. I gave the extra star because the young lady taking the orders was super sweet.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I arrived with great expectations, this being…read moremy first time and all, but I left feeling disappointed/disgusted. First, we waited for ten minutes or more outside in the 90 plus degrees heat waiting in line for others to order at the window. While waiting in line in the heat, one of the workers yelled out the window that he/she could not sit on the bench's leading up to the window and they have to wait in their car. Once we placed our order, we were given a number for our order. Getting out of your car and checking often to see if your number has been called is the only way you will know. This establishment does not have a display system like the one that have at other business where the current number is displayed. We ended up waiting 35 minutes for our order of frozen whiting that was over fried and hard, salty mac and cheese, received macaroni salad when I ordered coleslaw, bad attitudes and bad customer service from the employees. Needless to say my family and I won't be going back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
