I wouldn't recommend their fried chicken. Took a piece of daughter chicken. We're not flavorful just bland. Service was fast. Atmosphere inside was great also. I did enjoy their boil. However, it's weird here in NC. I got the corn, potato but no sausage. It was an extra $5 I think to add it then the slices were really thin. We really enjoyed eating here for lunch before attending the Holly Day Fair at the Crown Coliseum. There were four of us and we all tried different things. The steamed oysters and the seafood boil were so good! We also tried fried shrimp, oysters, crab Rangoon, crab bites and sweet potato fries. Everything was really tasty. Let me just say this, I wrote a little review last week before trying the food! Customer service was a 10/10. I always enjoy good service! The atmosphere wasn't too bad when I went up there and I was helped in good timing if I'm being honest... took me a little min to order due to me being VERY indecisive, BUT the gentleman and young lady in the front working the registers!!!!!! ( I forget their names) helped me pick the best choice of wings and the onion rings were GOODT! Whew. Everything was great and I enjoyed it! Appealing to the eye and made hot and ready! Juicy crab has once again proved why they are deserving of multiple one star reviews. The first problem is, whoever is their hiring manager that sucker needs to be terminated immediately! Because any manager with half a brain knows to schedule the most workers on weekends! Second, have two people at the register at all times. If someone has to take up the phone, make it three people at all times. And second limit the amount of parties you can have. I enjoyed the shrimp w/o head, corn, and potato meal with juicy sauce. The lemon pepper wings were heavily seasoned, but cooked well. The shrimp were smaller than the shrimp that I'm used to being served at different seafood restaurants, especially The Juicy Crab. I did not have to wait a long time to receive my food. This location operates like a fast food restaurant. After placing an order at the counter, choose from open seating, then fill/refill your beverage at the open fountain/drink station. Absolutely my new favorite place to eat. And YES! I would even make the hour long trip to go back here. BEST crab boil we have ever had. It does take about 20 minutes for you to get your food, but its worth the wait. They were running a specials the day we went in which included 1 lbs. of shrimp, 2 snow crab clusters , sausage, eggs and potatoes. (We opted for double potatoes since my husband can not have corn, but next time I will get corn on the side). The Ocean Catch meal is the closest thing on the menu to what we had and it was plenty for 2 people to share. You are able to chose your sauce and level of heat with your boil. We opted for the "Juicy Special" which combines all the sauce options into 1 sauce and a medium heat. OMG!!! When I tell you this was the best sauce ever, I truly mean it! There was an amazing flavor combination of garlic, paprika, cayenne, onions, and lemon and butter. There was just enough heat that it made your lips tingle, but didn't make them burn. I literally was drowning everything I ate in the extra sauce at the bottom of the bag. The shrimp were deveined and the heads off so we didn't have to worry about that, and they were cooked perfectly. They did still have the shells on, so you did have to work a little to eat them, but they were well worth the extra work. The snow crabs were the best we have ever had. They were fresh and cooked perfectly, even better than we had ever had eating them at the beach! My husband generally does not worry about trying to get the meat from the shoulder, but on this occasion he was digging away. The legs had some snap to the them, instead of being soft like so many places make them. The meat came out perfectly and melted in your mouth. The restaurant does offer melted butter and cocktail sauce upon request, but I felt bad because we ended up not using them because the Juicy sauce was so good. The sausage was a type of kielbasa, which other than being cooked in that amazing sauce, was a standard kielbasa. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. I didn't eat the eggs, but my husband said they were great because they were covered in that sauce. We had a child with us that opted to get the fried chicken wing basket. The wings were a basic fried chicken wing, because he opted to get the sauce on the side. The fries were perfectly golden and crispy..... He regretted not getting a boil bag once he tasted our food....My recommendation if you get the wings, get them covered in the Juicy Sauce. We added the wings to the sauce in our bag, and they elevated a basic chicken wing into an out of this world wing. After our meal was over, we went to compliment the staff on the amazing food experience and were told that they offer the Juicy Sauce in to go containers. So head up, you can take this stuff home and attempt to make a boil as good as there. read more

The cashier/waitress even held the menu for me (I had gloves on) while I was deciding what else to add to our already eaten order. My expectations were low and wow I was pleasantly surprised. I ate 2 pounds of crawfish almost to myself and I have to say pretty damn good considering being no where near Louisiana. Also had the crab that was meaty and cooked perfect. The Cajun fries are also like crack. I tried every level of dipping sauce. Fire is my favorite. Great place and great prices. Do not eat here!!! The food is trash. My son had one 3 cluster crab, my husband and I both had the chicken tender combo. Mine was with onion rings. Food was cooked in old grease. They use the same oil they cook shrimp or seafood with and then turn around and cook my chicken tenders and onion rings in that same oil. I was sick afterwards and the following day.
