I was referred to Buck Roofing & Construction, LLC by a couple of friends who recently contracted with them to upgrade their gutters. I'm so grateful for the recommendation, because they did a fantastic job! Our gutters were in poor shape, and frankly weren't large enough to handle the capacity of rain we've been getting. We also had gutter guards installed on the back side of the house (where our big tree lives). It should be noted that every person at this company treated us like an important customer, from the initial contact - all the way through to paying our invoice. The installers were prompt, professional, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. Folks, THIS is how it's supposed to be done! Even the small details, like carefully replacing nests that were disturbed. Honestly, this is one of the best experiences I've had with a construction company. Here's the icing on the cake... While the problem didn't end up being the roof, thanks to Gabe, who came out promptly to assess/diagnose the problem, he figured out and took pictures of what the problem was (broken vent/pipes related to plumbing and HVAC) and directed me who to call and what needed to happen, hopefully averting a near disaster. Poor reliability. Initial meeting and estimate was promising, Brian came out to do an estimate same day and tacked a tarp over the damaged area. So, I signed a contract with them for minor roof repair in June. After several follow up emails/phone calls for an ETA on repair date, my roof is still not fixed in November. Going to another roofer. They literally just called me on 11/14 and said they were scheduling my repair for tomorrow afternoon. That is a MONTH after they told me they were looking into my work order (post 3 emails and 2 phone calls), 5 months after I signed the contract, and 1 week after the above review. read more

Thanks to Gabe at Buck Roofing we were able to fix a leak after it was found during a rainstorm, the next day. Gabe and another associate in training stopped by on short notice to inspect a leak, as well as fix the leak within 30 minutes of being there. Had RBuck Roofing estimator come our and look for leak around chimney. He had only been working in roofing for two years and looked pretty young. He refused to climb up on roof as it was too steep for him. He stayed on the ground and looked up thirty feet to the chimney. Said he would need to cut into stucco around chimney to fix leak. Come to find out the leak was caused by an ill fitting cap on the chimney and nothing to do with the stucco. Glad we did not use them. read more

I have used Buck roofing previously, and just had another great experience with the service department. 24 hours within initial contact, they were on site to make a roofing repair (in the rain). They gave me some advice on the cause of the issue, documented their work with pictures and left a spare shingle including the name/manufacturer/color for future reference. They even provided the work at no charge! I would highly recommend Buck for any work large or small. read more

They were price competitive and overall did a good job, but I inspected their work afterwards and found that they did not properly flash around my chimney. It doesn't leak because they piled in a bunch of caulking to fill a gap. I called and asked that someone get on the roof and look at the problem because you can't see it from the ground. They sent someone out, but he never got on the roof as I requested and his only comment was "We don't see a problem". So now I'll have to find someone else to fix it, or maybe do it myself. read more

Had appt set and Rob came out to give us an estimate on a ceiling leak we had been experiencing. We weren't sure if it was plumbing or roof that needed repair. He came and after about 15 minutes stated that he needed another guy to help as needed more than 1 person for safety... duh!!! Said he was going to have to get someone else and would be back in 30 minutes or so. We had to leave but gave him both email and phone numbers to notify us what was found and estimate to repair. 3 weeks later no word back from buck roofing.. with this customer service I am glad we didn't have them do any repairs!! read more

Buck roofing did a great job removing and installing my new gutters.if your using a credit card for payment you get screwed.i asked up front if they took credit cards for payment and they said yes,but didn't tell me that any thing over a thousand dollars they charge you 3% more.i guess I'll find another company to do my roof this fall. read more

They are the worst! Super shady and such bad work. OMG! After they claimed to be 'finished' and got paid, the roof started leaking. Suddenly stopped answering the phone. Had to have a different company come fix their mistakes. A drunken toddler would have done a better job! read more

Buck roofing did my roof repair last September. I asked them to repair the whole roof and their proposal included replacing shakes where there are missing ones, exposed felt, and worst cracked ones without specifying area. My roof leaked again this year resulting from exposed felts and I called them back to look at. When I asked why, he told me they only repaired the front last year. read more
