Found you guys by looking up the affiliated gyms from the Jiu Jitsu for Life Team. The culture was great, with lots of quality instruction and I really appreciated all the higher belts taking time to explain small details and it seems like they genuinely care for your development (especially as a first time visiting practitioner). I loved the hour of rolling and open training to just get lots of rounds afterwards. We worked on sequencing arm bar from closed guard today as well as defending the position from the stack counter. Definitely a really great detail to pick up and to try to incorporate in my own game and development. Hope to visit more often!

The obstacles can be challenging but, you are hooked safely to the wire, so if you 'fall' you don't actually fall. This definite gives confidence when you see an obstacle that makes you seriously consider the sanity of the creator. WEAR GLOVES! FULL GLOVES! You can bring your own or buy some for $5. Fingerless gloves will not help you much. That's what I used and I got a couple blisters, but I will have full gloves for next time. You don't need a ton of upper body strength to do this, kids are also allowed at a certain height. Don't think fitness is a huge factor, but you DO need to be able to climb the ladders and do a little walking uphill. Having upper body strength does help, but you'll do just fine if you're not too confident. There were people in my group of all fitness levels and heights and we all did great and had a lot of fun. I had more fun doing this than plain ziplining in the Caribbean. There is a discount if you go in the morning. Also, there were no bugs in the morning either and it was just starting to get hot out when we finished. A great active place to go! I'd definitely go again!

Family had a really great time here!…read more My daughter is 6 and wanted to try fishing after hearing about it at school. We didn't want to go far, with boat rentals, etc. This was perfect for us. The ponds are not deep, they get very shallow by the edges. You do need to cast quite far to get closer to where the fish are in the deeper waters. There are a bunch of pipes nearing the shallow waters, make sure you reel continuously over those areas, as a few times my daughter stopped and the hook got caught on the pipe. There are staff available to help you with your catch, to get the hook dislodged and fish dropped into your basket. They also clean and bag your fish on ice. Fish are priced by weight. A family ahead of us paid $94 for 4 fish, we paid $126 for 4 fish. Fish also tasted great. Their rules are stated on their website and on a board at the entryway. No dogs, no bbq, no catch and release. Respect these few rules and you'll have a great time.

Decided to come here…read moreagain with him except with my kids to have an enjoyable time fishing from ponds stocked full of rainbow trout. Most things are the same, some have changed. They no longer have the awesome "food shooting gun" or the "vacuum powered fish cleaning suction machine". The upper and lower ponds now both stock the same sized fish (upper pond used to be bigger fish). You can rent rods, there's a fee per fisher, and fish is $33/lb and you can't throw back what you catch. Expensive, but altogether reasonable because you're paying for an experience and not the fish itself. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially if you need help landing a fish. Went at opening 10am and they weren't busy. First hour we caught nothing, even with the provided worms and power bait. We then learned that technique matters! Tip - the rainbow trout are less interested in a non moving bait and bobber. They much prefer a slow reel and want to chase their food. Once we figured this out we were catching like crazy! One of my kids even caught a fish with a landing net! Super fun. Decided to keep 5 fish for a total of $180. Overall worth it for the fun experience w the kids. Down a star because it's expensive and not something we can afford to do frequently.

This is a public course so you don't need a membership. Well, it seems like COVID pricing is in effect, and it's about 10% higher from what we recall. It's the first time I played the Classic and Challenge course on the same weekend. I agree with the person working there, "you play the Challenge course if you want a better score". Even though you would think by calling it "Challenge" and it being a longer course, it should be more difficult. I'm a noob and I scored the SAME score on both courses. I find the greens are easier to putt on the Challenge course. Both greens are a bit on the slow side. I find the rough on the Challenge course had grass a tad too long. I lost a couple balls because I just couldn't pinpoint it on the rough. The taller grass makes it easy to miss the ball even if you're 3 meters away. It's busy, so they will always try to pair you into a group. The spacing between groups however is decent, keeping the course flowing without being backed up too much. A course marshal was there to ensure groups are moving along. A solid choice for a public course.

The old grump took his job way too seriously, stole alcohol from the bottom of our bags that wasn't even open. What an awesome choice for a team event. A simple space, from the picture you can see a set up which includes two targets each, small axes and boards to keep score for the real tournament! The hosts spend a least an hour patiently instructing us on the safe and appropriate manner to swing the axe at the target. Many of us got bullseye right off the top, some, like me, flung the thing over the target. But in the end, if you are looking for a fun team building exercise for a reasonable cost, this is certainly a great option. I don't know if you can always do it, but if you have a big group, you can probably negotiate a lower rate than the $45 per person.

Tinier than I thought it would be. Three cages made of metal fencing. Very high ceiling! Each cage has two round targets made of big pieces of wood. How it works: Two teams two hurlers at a time. Where your axe lands , you count points It's hard hitting the target but fun. You get a lot of practice throws! Nothing like the satisfaction of hitting the bullseye!! Hit it twice in a row and you feel like wonder women!! Conclusion: I'm coming back. I've never had so much fun doing exercise. :)
