We placed our order in November and were told delivery would take 8-12 weeks, and that we would receive a call once it arrived. After 8 weeks passed with no communication, I called and was given a delivery estimate of February 15. That date came and went with no call. When I followed up again, I was told there was a delay and that the new delivery time would be mid‑April, and once again, that we would be contacted when it came in. No one called. On April 3, I called yet again and was told the couch was finished and would arrive early the following week, with delivery to be scheduled by April 10. Once again--no call. I finally went into the store on Monday, April 13. At that point, they cited the war as the reason for delays, even though all of the promised delivery dates were before the war even began, which felt like a weak and convenient excuse. They assured me they would call within a week (by Monday, April 20) if the couch did not arrive. At my request, they issued a 10% refund. And once again--no call. What was advertised as 8-12 weeks has now stretched into over 20 weeks, with zero proactive communication from the company at any point. Every update we received required us to call or physically go into the store. We went couch shopping because we genuinely needed a new couch. We were never told it could take over five months with no delivery and no updates. At what point does taking payment without delivering goods become unacceptable? This experience has been extremely frustrating and reflects very poorly on their business practices.

I would give it zero stars if I could post a review with that well deserved rating…read more The owner of this business is prejudiced against smaller trucks - like my 2020 GMC Canyon Denali 4x4 Crewcab. He has repeatedly changed his towing requirements after I show up to pick up the reserved equipment and has refused to rent equipment to me because of my "small truck". I have pointed out that my truck weighs as much as the acceptable basic GMC Sierra and has towing rating that exceeds its big brother by 900lbs. Yet this "businessman" states he will only rent his yard equipment (in this case a small tractor of 2500 lbs) to people with bigger pickups. This is idiotic and defies physics and logic. This prejudice was finally said out loud, on this my third (and final) attempt to rent equipment from him. Previously I had attempted to rent a much larger tractor from him and each subsequent failed rental reservation was for equipment at a lighter load, and each previous time it was stated (incorrectly) that my truck couldn't handle the load... but if the load was only lighter.... Now it is clear it is just his prejudice that fuels his discrimination, particularly since he has stated that ANY 1500 class truck would be rented to for the same loads I was denied. It isn't only that this fool wasted my time, insulted me, and didn't even follow his own logic with regards to vehicle weight and power, but the fact is the last time he did this I successfully rented the same equipment from a competitor (120 miles away - he has a monopoly in his area) and I towed the 4000lbs equipment all the way up the mountain to my property and back - several times, without a single issue. This genius lost 8 weeks of equipment rental at $1500 a week, for all his foolishness and bigotry. Today was my final attempt to work with this numbskull! I refuse to waste my time again with someone who so clearly deserves to go out of business. I suspect that if he had any competition in the area he'd be out of business already! Here's hoping it happens soon so someone competent to run such a business takes up the challenge.

However, over the years I've been there I've found EVERY time that the sales people, at most there are two, pay attention to the male customers. As a woman I'm used to getting no help (luckily I don't usually need help) and the sales person, usually one guy, pays attention to male customers and the male customers will continue chatting with with the sole staff guy even if I've been waiting for some minutes. Neither customers nor the staff guy wore masks even though there is a sign to wear masks. Take my advice and send your husband here - cut about 10 mins off the trip.
