I recall having been there years before. Its been awhile. The whole place has a rural feel, the entire lot is small and has no paved parking lot. It's all gravel. They don't have a dedicated parking lot, find a spot that doesn't block the flow of traffic. They do have designated handicap spots. Or you can park next door at the El Dorado Nursery and walk over using their secret gate. Ok it's not a secret just ask the staff, they will be happy to guide you. But gotta say that the nursery parking lot is also gravel and not particularly large. It is not a long walk, they are right next to each other separated by a fence. The trailer office at Acer's has samples of the materials lined up on a shelf. Great. That way you don't have roam their lot in the heat. You can if you want to though. Also inside the office are large wall boards with the pricing. They got stonewalls, geowalls, cinderblocks, Italian pavers, estate walls, fire pits, techno soil (don't know what that is but they have 16 varieties), flagstone (over 20)... rock in decorative colors, types, and sizes... bark also in different types, colors, sizes., The staff here are super helpful, friendly, and professional. They have some characters that made me laugh and others that are more business like but not at all unfriendly. We ended up ordering materials and setting up a delivery time and paying the fee. The pricing was cheaper than another material shop located in Rancho Cordova, CA. Acer was even able to deliver the next day on a Sunday. Wow... Sunday, that's rare. But we scheduled it for a weekday instead. We were given a 2 hour delivery timeframe. The driver called within 15-20 minutes before they got to the house. He dumped the materials in front as instructed. Great.

Next, I bought some flag stone and he charged me .02 cents more that price and I didn't catch it until I got home. Not a big deal, but it's the principle. I went by today to buy more flag stone and the owner told me I had to take the pieces to the scale and load them myself. I'm a 69 year old female who has had 2 hip replacements. Really?? An employee overheard and ended up helping me. He was very kind and helpful, which made up for the rude owner.

Outside is the nursery with native flowers and plants, fruit trees, and vegetable plants. The outdoor area is compact. The plants are labeled to indicate if they are deer resistant which is important in these parts. Deer is abundant in these parts, and they have an appetite. The nursery inventory is thoughtfully laid out. Towards the back of the outside nursery is where the yoga studio is located. In addition to the yoga studio, there is a concrete patio with a view of the nursery below . That is where the outdoor yoga classes are held. They offer instruction in various types of yoga. The class schedule and pricing is posted on their website. Take a peek, pricing averages $15 a class and 10 class purchase is $120. The owner recently opened a cafe on the property. Nourish Cafe serves up cold pressed juices, fresh fruit smoothies, artisanal coffee, nourishing soups, and vibrant salads. Finding parking can be challenging. There is about 12 dedicated parking spaces in front on Green Valley Road. However, this place is popular. I called a 2nd time to get the Owner Information Tom Answered and was rude immediately and brought up our order and the "situation" despite me ONLY calling back to get OWNER INFORMATION. At one point Tom said "why do I need to tell the customer what's more cost effective?? That's not my job!" Tom Acknowledged the girl who placed the order did not discuss with my husband about any other cost effective options like how a full 16 yards (he interrupted with you mean 18 yards?) is not much more and how during the weekend it is "landscaping" prices according to Tom and that's why it was so high. And he reiterated how it is not their job to help us get a good deal! No one informed us of Other cost effective options regarding load size or timing of the delivery. And when I called this morning this was my MAIN issue but; None of your employees demonstrated empathy or even Understanding at Any moment. None of them took responsibility for anything or their parts. NANCY AND TOM blatantly mistreated me, told me I was Wrong even though I have Screenshots of your website and google ad. I never said anything to your employees other than trying to discuss the situation that happened. Nancy and Tom were Defensive and rude right from the start. Every customer should be valued and be treated properly. Employees should be respectful, considerate and informative so their customer can get the Best Experience with your company. It encourages repeat customers and many customers do have multiple projects. I hope you can resolve this issue in a fair manner and make up for my mistreatment by your employees. I would like to be Able to leave a Positive review for your company on Facebook, Yelp, Google and Angie's List. TIM the OWNER did NOT resolve the issue & was Not much better than his employees. Such a lovely afternoon picnicking, enjoying a bottle of sparkling wine by Deaver, exploring…read moredaylillies and demonstration gardens. Myself, husband and 4 kids (4-11) found a perfect day trip from Sacramento to the Amador Flower Farm. A main attraction for our family was the picnic area beside the pond full of koi fish, turtles and frogs. A food dispenser ($0.25) was endlessly fun to feed and attract the pond inhabitants and observe their patterns beneath mature oaks brimming with sparrows, red winged blackbirds and other songbirds. We brought our own picnic food, bought a bottle of sparkling wine at the gift shop/tasting room, and sat for more than an hour spending time together. Later, we wandered through the gardens and enjoyed the beautiful blooms, many of which can be purchased to bring home. The paths were easy to navigate for our mother with a bad knee. It's straightforward to get here, and well worth the hour from the Sacramento area. What an incredible afternoon!
