Douglas is $65 no matter the size and the Nobles and Grands are $75/each. Cash or check only. No frills but they do have complimentary cider and popcorn and it's a nice relaxed atmosphere. Family members help shake and bind the tree and provide ropes for tying on the car. They also have saws to cut the tree on your own. This is our go to farm and we'll be back again next year to support this family business.

I honestly couldn't imagine them not addressing any concerns I may have had with the plants, which I haven't. Additionally, DJ is extremely knowledgeable and would seriously doubt they would sell anything that wasn't top notch! I wasn't there so I don't know for sure. As far as the good-natured employees, Arango, who appears to be the main Foreman of the nursery has always been in good spirits and extremely helpful in helping me search and load up my truck/car with the best they have to offer from there vast fields. My family and I went their last summer; kids had fun and the guys helping you were nice. The problem is that they will tell you everything is good and healthy and they will load your truck up and tell you everything you want to hear before you get a chance to realize your mistake. The problem is that I do not know about trees. The guys will tell you how good the trees are and no matter what they will not tell you that the tree will die or any other problem. They have a one-year guarantee but when I came back days later to ask why my FIVE $200.00 tree roots were only a few inches long and why all the old branches were cut off so that only new growth would appear and why the bark was falling off. All my trees had damage under the bark, you will not see until they all die. I received a look from the owner that scared me and he let me know to drop it, no refund. Now after 13 months all my trees are dying. I could not get a refund. This was not my first purchase from this place. The other trees and bushes all got sickly looking and I realized it too late; I am an idiot. I expect to be sold what I pay for, not garbage. Everyone I have talked to about this told me that all five of my trees should have NEVER been sold.

Their prices are very reasonable. I always have the best luck with their plants, they take-off quickly and thrive. I can always find a few unique plants that I have never seen nor read about. Unlike supermarket checkouts designed to push impulse purchases, Growers Outlet has surprises in every corner. They don't sell meat, but we usually end up with multiple items that were not on our shopping list. There are a couple of times a year, when we want strawberries for canning, or a tree for Christmasing, when no place else will do. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are many other Portlanders that have their own times of year when they simply have to come here.

I was very disappointed today when I went to get my tree here on the phone I was t's they have if…read moregrand firs if ur for 75 and up and trees that were already cut today were cheaper so we went and then we were showed only 2 pre cut trees one was so bare it made Charlie Brown's tree loom goid then there was one other tree that was very crooked but only 35.00. I asked if it coyuld be shaped to get the bugs and loose needles out but there machine was broken. I brought the tree home and noticed how yellow it was it seems to me that they are ripping off consumers if they only have those 2 unhealthy trees for 35 or you can go for the 75 and up I'd it trees. I feel as thought consumers should know about this and be aware I'm very disappointed in this tree farm and will never go back
