First time shopping in Buckle today. I was there shopping with a friend when salesperson, Kylie, approached me. She asked if I have ever tried their jeans. I told her no, but I did really need a new pair.... Kylie not only NAILED my size on jeans, but she also brought me some items that made me step out of my comfort zone. I have been so tired of opting for comfy clothes that are admittedly pretty frumpy, but never knew where to start. I've never had a shopping experience quite like that, and I'm excited to return and get some other clothes for my *new* style. Anyway, I just really wanted to thank Kylie from the bottom of my heart. It made me kind of emotional because she truly made me feel good about myself, and she took pride in choosing very flattering pieces for me. It's not everyday that you meet someone excited to do their job, and her excitement was contagious. Everyone in the store was AMAZING, but Kylie really made a difference today for me. I was in Michigan taking care of my mother for 6 months last winter. She bought me a blingy Blazin' Roxx belt online because the stores have all closed in Michigan. I wore it one night on my birthday and a big crystal fell off. When I returned to Maryland at the end of May I took it to the Buckle in Annapolis. I was told the seamstress would look at it and get back to me. I called 5 times over the next 3 weeks with no return call. Today, finally, Kayla the manager called and said they could not fix it and could not replace it nor refund me. She suggested I call the Blazin Roxx company or their customer support and I was upset because they ignored me and my calls 5 times only to tell me no to every solution I proposed. i told her to do some due diligence and try to ensure the situation had a positive outcome especially due to wasted time, non communication etc. Again her answer was no. I called and talked to an extremely helpful, friendly, problem solving employee who not only said yes immediately to any action I would like to take but my new belt is on the way! It's worth it to insist a fair remedy and I am SO SICK of these power hungry girls or control freaks or whatever the hell they are that just like to be negative, small minded and hurry up and go away employees. This woman was a manager! Her name is Kayla and she needs to go back to school to learn how to properly manage a retail business and it's clients.! Won't be back. Kim read more

The sales people hound you every second you're in the store. The clothes are nice and pricey, but after owning a pretty extensive wardrobe from that place Im noticing for how much I paid my clothes are falling apart.. :( no bueno Buckle. If you can get past the pit-bull sales people and the over priced clothes that only the cast of "Jersey Shore" should wear then you will love it, as for me Ill stick to A&F. read more

If you want a glimpse into how Hollywood elites shop, this is it. Like all locations in the Buckle chain, the service at this store is the definition of customer oriented. As you enter the store you are greeted by sales staff that are, in effect, your personal shopper for the day. Let's say you want some jeans. Since Buckle has a crazy selection of sizes and fits, they will first help you narrow that into a manageable box. Don't be surprised if what they recommend is not what you have been buying all your life. Notably, you have probably been walking around in flood waters for years and nobody has bothered to tell you. Next comes the fun part. The staff will provide start bringing literally dozens of style jeans with that size and fit to you. Just as importantly, they will bring some complementary clothing to go with the jeans you are evaluating. OK, this is an upsell, right? Maybe, maybe not. Let's face it, you just walked in from the mall and probably aren't exactly at your fashion zenith. I mean are you really going to wear those new jeans with the Pony sneakers with Velcro laces that you trudge around the mall in? I sure as hell hope not. So the sales staff will bring you some appropriate footwear, maybe with a few inches of heel, that shows how the cuff of the jeans will look in the wild. They will similarly bring you some casual tops which you just might decide you like. Hence, the sales staff has not only helped you pick out the correctly fitting jean, they have also helped you build a new look. And they are damn good at what they do. I don't know if they work on commission or not, but if they do they usually earn it. Should you have a problem with the constant attention or consider it to be pushy or upselling, just tell the sales staff that you would prefer to be left alone and they will leave you to it. The Buckle house brand jeans and tops are the best value and very long wearing. Usually less blinged out than pricier brand name selections though. It seems to be a universal truism in clothing that the more upscale the product the more fragile it gets. Buckle probably deserves that fifth star, but I'm stingy. read more

Being a woman it's hard to find the right pair of jeans! I usually buy 20 pairs of jeans before I find the perfect fit, style and color. When I walked into this store with my husband we were immediately approached by an employee who offered assistance. I told the associate that my husband was looking and thanked him for his time. That same associate returned quickly with a pair of jeans for me to try as he insisted I should buy myself something nice while shopping with the Mr. As crazy as this sounds and I still cannot believe this - they were the perfect jeans down to the size, color and style. WOW Shopping made easy! Especially with the customer service they provide I will continue to return. read more

Like others have said, the employees are overzealous and, quite frankly, creepily nice. They work on commission and bring you a million things while you're in the dressing room in order to increase the sale which is really uncomfortable. Clothes are cute but I don't want to be annoyed while I shop. read more

I only shop here when my boyfriend wants to shop here. The salespeople seem... desperate? I don't know, but it's kind of annoying. They're nice, and I feel bad saying that, but I literally dread shopping here. I hate how the salespeople are constantly trying to get you to try new things, and not just one or two items, like 20 items every time you walk into the dressing room. The clothes that they pick out are not even remotely close to what you're trying on either- "Oh, you're trying on a basic tank? Let me find you the gaudiest shirt that's bedazzled and looks like The Situation made it for you to try on!" Even when after I tell the salespeople that I am only shopping with my boyfriend, they still hound me to try on their clothes. Overall, I avoid this place like the plague. read more

I would give it more stars if I didn't feel like a seal being attacked by sharks every time I walk in the store. I can't walk five feet without a salesperson hounding you.
