There are so many clothes temptations here. I went in looking for Farm Rio clothing, in particular their dresses. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my requests. The store is well lit and meticulously organized. They did have the brand of clothing I was looking for however what they had in stock did not work for me this time. Looking forward to returning.

The last time I was there, I spoke with another girl who was trying on clothes for 20 minutes in the dressing room.

I tried on a few outfits before purchasing anything. Surprisingly, the dressing room was dirty. There were used tissues/napkins on the wooden seat and floor. I almost did not want to touch anything that is the level of uncleanliness that was going on in there. I tried on my outfits and placed what I did not want in the restocking area. Since one of the dresses was too big, I went to the rack to look for the smaller size. I never looked at the dress to inspect it for damages etc., I only looked at the size. I purchased this item for an upcoming vacation, so I did not remove the items from the bags until about three weeks later while I was packing. At that time, I observed that not only was the slit in the back ripped straight up the seam, but the tag appeared crumbled almost like someone had worn and returned it. I tried calling the store, but they do not have a phone. I called Zara's customer service and the mall to determine if they had a direct number. The bottom line is that Zara stores cannot be contacted directly. I knew that the item was still eligible for return, but I still wanted to speak to someone about it. Thankfully, I returned the item without a problem, but not being able to reach someone locally was frustrating. If I purchase in store again, I will be sure to fully inspect all items before purchasing.

Zara - The store just opened. This has always been my least favorite location due to the service but today was just horrid.

Annapolis has got a ton of little clothing shops and odds and ends but THE COTTAGE's selection was top notch. They had bracelets, bags, decor, clothes...you name it. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. Hopefully I'll be stopping in on a regular basis if I get a Mid class 2031.

To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig. Since this location is in downtown Annapolis parking is a consideratoin. On an early weekday morning you might be able to grab a metered spot our front. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is nearby too. Or you can always drive 15 minutes to the Severna Park location where parking is plentiful. Overall, The Cottage on Main is a great addition to downtown Annapolis.

Welcome to my fashion obsession. My little fashion secret is out. I found this cute boutique when I…read morewas walking in La Jolla. It looked like a small upscale boutique where a pair of jeans was likely to be $400. Oh no, this place was affordable on my student budget. This became my go to place for sundresses (usually in the $35-$40 range), funky tops, and accessories. They have accessories as far as the eye can see. I even introduced my east coast friends to the store when they visited. Then I moved away, and had to order on line. I kept each item of clothing for years knowing I would never find anything like it again. I had one wrap dress that rivaled anything made by Diane Von Furstenberg. When I moved east, and when coworkers would ask me where I got my clothes and I would direct them to the website. I had them hooked, pretty soon they had their entire families ordering. And then there came a day when three of us had on the same dress from here. That was my doing. Then much to my luck the store added stores on the east coast. I recently went to store in Annapolis and it was like old times. The staff was friendly and I had to put myself on a budget to avoid buying the store. And now the news got out that there is a store coming soon to Bethesda Row! See good things do come to those that wait.

Not sure if they changed their age range or what but it's definitely a tasteful store for young girls and teens, which is refreshing considering the other stores for their age group nowadays. I didn't see any "sexy" choices or anything related to sex which I loved. I'll be back for this reason alone. The store was very clean and organized. Great choices. Reasonable prices, but the sale they had today made it fantastic. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired though. You can tell the young ladies that work here fit the age group that they're marketing. A little too relaxed, no "hello," no "do you need help with anything". While I was waiting in line for my first purchase, I eventually realized there wasn't a line, just a bunch of young girls standing at the register talking. Finally after a few minutes I realized they weren't buying anything so I made my way to the counter, the cashiers were just standing there talking, no apologies for leaving me standing there waiting for almost 5 minutes for nothing. I made two purchases (I found something else on my way out the door) and during the second one (different cashier) asked me for my phone number. Apparently they have some type of rewards program (but then again I don't know because she seemed confused as well but agreed to all of my questions ‍). When my info came up (I'm guessing one of our daughters signed me up) my info was wrong. Instead of changing it when I brought it to the cashier's attention, the young lady next to her, who was the first cashier for my previous transaction that didn't even ask me for my number said skip past it, the young lady said okay and then gave me my total. I guess this is why I've never received any emails for them, it's someone else's address. I digress. I saw something else on my way out but decided the poor service wasn't worth me making another purchase, maybe some other time. Overall, the store is cute, I'd shop in here for my girls occasionally. But moms, beware, you might get a little agitated. It kind of reminded me of when I have to repeat myself to my children, which I don't like to do. When I'm shopping I don't want to be reminded of my kids irresponsibilities. The girls in this store are definitely a little irresponsible when it comes to good customer service. If they tighten up, they'll get the extra 2 stars.
