I shopped at your Annapolis, Maryland store on May 3,2026, afternoon and received rude and poor service by your sales associate. I have a broken arm and my out of town cousin was with me. Both of us were ignored, had to ask to take clothes to try on. Then I wanted to try on shoes and the associate didn't want to help untie laces. All around poor experience. There are so many clothes temptations here. I went in looking for Farm Rio clothing, in particular their dresses. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my requests. The store is well lit and meticulously organized. They did have the brand of clothing I was looking for however what they had in stock did not work for me this time. Bottom Line: Unique women's clothing and home decor but a bit pricey. Anthropologie is where I shop when I am searching for unique, fun, fashionable and eye catching clothing. The store is rather big and can be overwhelming unless you have a lot of time to methodically browse fixture by fixture. Sometimes items will be hung behind dissimilar items so you really need to check out the entire rack. Also, you can't judge items by the snippet of fabric you see when approaching the rack. Often the garment's details are what make the item buy-worthy or a fashion-don't but you have to take a close look to see the details. In addition to great ladies' clothing Anthropology also has some terrific accessories. All of this fashion goodness does come at a price though. For a thrifty shopper, ensure to check out the back racks near the fitting room but browsing this space will require patience. The home goods at Anthropologie are also browse worthy by this particular store has a limited inventory. Pretty dishes, embroidered dish towels and frilly aprons are all sold here. Because there is often a lot of pattern, color and detail to the home goods I wouldn't furnish an entire house from Anthropologie but a few pieces mixed in with more neutral selections is killer. In retail service is often consistently inconsistent; however, at Anthropologie it's often attentive and helpful which it should be at this price point. Parking in this shopping center can be a bit inconvenient but Anthro is basically centered between all of the available parking garages so that helps. read more

I always love walking through Anthro stores. You feel so inspired with the decor and styling. The staff here is friendly. The store is a bit small compared to others so they do not carry much inventory but they are helpful in ordering for items to be delivered to your house. read more

Love this Anthropologie. Anthropologie at any location is fantastic, but I particularly enjoy this set up because the home items are on the far right when you walk into the store and it feels like it's truly separated. Also they have a beauty section devoted to all the make up, hair items, and facial products. Similar to any other store they have a beautiful selection of items ranging from clothes, home, stationary, etc. The staff here are welcoming and very friendly. read more

I always find a pretty dish or hot pad or apron to add to my kitchen. They have bedding, knick knacks and all the clothes that I don't really need but would love to have in my closet. The clothing pieces are original designs with lots of character and can either complement what you already have or add a new spin to a boring wardrobe. They're slightly on the pricier side but they also have a neat sale section that you have to check out in the back. I can easily find great presents for my girlfriends here. Not sure why this place is not on Yelp...maybe it used to be Urban Outfitters or was incorrectly added under that name. Wish I could check in! read more

The people working at this Anthropologie are so nice and helpful. Nicely organized with beautiful whimsy details. The dressing rooms full of lights and plenty of hangers. I'm always impressed by the window displays. It's my perfect place for a present or retail therapy. Bonus: free parking garage! read more

The absolute rudest people. I was caring around 20 articles of clothing and no one asked to put them in a dressing room for me. Per the Anthopology standard. Two of the girls were lost on conversation not caring about anyone who was in the store. Then when I went to check out the didn't wrap my clothes they just threw them in the bag. No smile, no have a great day. Nothing. If you don't like working in customer service then DONT! And be nice to people no matter now they are dressed or what they look like. This is a pretty good / pretty large store. The staff is pretty helpful. The selection is wide and varied. It's not two levels like my fave store in Georgetown but by that same token its not as crowded either. This store is a great place to swing in prior to dining (if there's a wait for a table); or to linger in when the dining's done (if you ate too much and need to walk it off before getting back on the road to DC). Guess I'm the first reviewer who didn't just LOVE this store, but someone has to be the rebel, right? Let me start out by saying that I do love the cute clothes, accessories, and home items that they have......very original, colorful, fun.....can't say anything bad there. And the candles and lotions smell AMAZING...the second you walk in the door, if you close your eyes you'll feel like you're on a tropical beach. The store has a very cute design, and the free parking and convenient location are big pluses. However, unlike many other reviewers, I did not find the staff to be very friendly or helpful. In fact, in the 45 minutes that I spent wandering through the store, not one person asked if I needed assistance or even acknowlegded me. The only employee who noticed I was there at all was the girl in the fitting room. Their prices are a bit on the steep end, and even their sale items are kind of pricey. I especially found it a bit off-putting to find a dress that was damaged, had a tag on it that SAID it was damaged and sold "as-is", and they were STILL charging over $150 for it. I realize that many of the items are unique and I don't expect to pay Wal-Mart or Sears prices, but I'll wait for a sale before I go back. After all, I DO hate to pay full price for anything anyway! read more

So I don't think I have ever bought anything here. It's a little too Hippie like for me. But they do have some cute stuff. Just not cute enough for me to spend an outrageous money. If I am going to pay that much, I'll save it for a local boutique rather than this trendy chain. Don't get me wrong, they do have some nice things. I believe that their stuff is made from natural materials and not mass produced in China (don't quote me on this...) This store has a whole room full of stuff on sale. Too bad their sales aren't cheap enough to draw me in. However, I will continue to stop in and give it a look. I don't discriminate, I'll buy stuff from anywhere that has stuff that looks good on me. They also have a lot of home decor stuff. Like drawer handles and knobs. Interesting. Never seen a clothing store have some much home stuff. They also have some of my favorite Volspa candles. Too bad Candles Off Main have better deals in their sale rack. It's worth a stop to look around, but the prices are pretty high and its really not my style. read more

I am a fan of this particular Anthro because of the exceptional customer service I recently received. I had an internet return and (by accident) the sales person only credited me for two of the items. I didn't realize this until the manager (Erin) called me a few hours later to straighten out the transaction. This Anthro usually has a great sale section. The store is always pristine and well-stocked. I miss the Rockville store (it was the mecca of all Anthropologies) but Annapolis is a great alternative. read more

The only reason I gave this store 4 stars is because they no longer have a shoe section. However, this is a good thing for me because when it comes to shoes, especially Anthropologie shoes, I find it really hard to control myself. First, the customer service here is exceptional. I came in a few weeks ago during a sale event and the moment I took a dress off the rack an associate calmly approached me and set me up with a dressing room. When they didn't have an item in my size, they ordered it for me online (which waives the shipping fee). The dressing room attendant was very attentive without being overbearing and kindly helped me zip up a blouse when she noticed I was struggling. She even recommended coordinating bottoms that were on the sale rack. Some folks may find the extra service a little overwhelming, but I find it refreshing. Personally, I cannot afford to shop here on a regular basis (I'm a thrift store kinda gal) so it is a real treat to be waited on. Second, the selection of items is awesome. You want a bar of pretty-smelling soap? Check. Hand painted thank you cards? Check. Adorable ceramic door knobs? Check. Dainty summer dress with superior stitching? Check. And lastly, even on a Saturday afternoon this place manages to be extra tidy and never crowded. All the dresses arranged properly according to size, every mug and earring in its place. read more

This Anthro has a nice layout and carries many items, but their customer service is terrible. I always get the feeling that they don't want customers in the store. I live in the Annapolis Towne Centre, but I prefer to drive to the Georgetown location to shop. read more

The Towne Centre has new hours for winter which are not posted anywhere but their door. So imagine my surprise when coming through from out of town to have the door locked right at 7. Also completely unappreciated when I attempted to get the women's attention who was at the front window display and she ignored me. I will make this review very succinct. VERY pretty clothes, lovely and large selection, quite pricey and was disappointed that staff seemed very aloof. I asked for a restroom, and the first sales woman in the dressing area looked at me as if she didn't urinate! C'mon corporate office WAKEUP! I am a professional who has two daughters to shop for, I spent hundreds of dollars in your store, which by the way caters to WOMEN-everyone goes to the bathroom, women also have periods and sometimes need to use the bathroom! I loved the look the store, but was astonished when the changing rooms were filthy. I told the manage and another associate of the conditions of the change rooms. They confirmed how dirty they were and apologized, saying the cleaner had not yet come in. It was 11AM . I told the manager that if I had a broom I would have swept them myself since they were so dirty. They had 3 associates on the floor, and only two customers in the store, to my knowledge Come on ladies, everyone knows the basics of cleaning. If I were the manager, I would have cleaned the dressing rooms to show my staff, we all need to work together and pitch in when someone isn't available to do it. Kind of elementary anthropology management and staff. You should be apologizing for your behavior, not that someone didn't show up to clean! I am in love with the store. Everything is so perfect! The girls who work here are really nice and helpful. The dressing room is huge and comfortable. I feel as if time stops in the store. The last time I was there, I spoke with another girl who was trying on clothes for 20 minutes in the dressing room. We sat on the couch, in our tried on dresses and just talked! Kudos to the store and the staff for creating such an atmosphere. The clothes are amazing. Very high quality. They fit like a dream. I can't imagine my life pre-anthropologie. Love it! read more
