Fair warning...We hired this company to put a new roof on and it was the worst decision ever. They…read morenever tarped our home like they said they would causing nails and shingles to go everywhere (and we're still finding them 5 yrs later in our flower garden). Never showed up on time, missed days and I was the one always calling to find out when they planned on showing back up. Worst of all...we've had shingles blow off the roof every year for 5 yrs straight and now have to find a capable company to fix these screw ups. The foreman chose to take vacation the day after starting the job so the labor was done half assed when he left. Had another storm last week and our driveway was once again covered with shingles from the peak that blew off. Last yrs when I contacted them again to fix what I paid for them to do the first time they gave me crap about it. Be warned that just because they talk a good talk before the job doesn't mean you're getting it done right. Plus, the work crew took all the left over shingles that I paid for so I didn't have any when I need to replace the damaged one that came off. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

We had our metal roof installed only 3 years ago and it started leaking last year. Apparently they…read morenever installed ice stops and the ice pushed our vents and caused leaks through our stove vent. (This caused mold which meant we had to renovate our entire kitchen. That cost $18,000!) We did our best to calk it in the meantime for an immediate fix. Sure enough, it started leaking again into our new kitchen! When we called them about it as the roof is warranteed, the woman who answered the phone referred us to some guy named Toby who used to work with them. He gave us a ridiculous price of $1600.00 to fix the leak and install the ice stops that should have been installed to begin with! We specifically went with Burke's because of the guarantee that the dad, the founder of the company, assured us of when he came out to quote. Apparently the son does not uphold the guarantee and quality that the company earned its reputation on. I still have my paperwork with the guarantee. I want my roof to not leak. I'd rather give my lawyer $1600.00 to get them to stand by their work than to pay some dude named Toby. Their guarantee is garbage. Go with someone else. Edit: 09/25/23 I just received a phone call from Sheryl Burke stating that our problem was from a lack of "maintenance" not their work, therefore they could come out and quote us to do what is needed to fix the leak but that they are more expensive than the quote I got recently. I informed her that this is not an issue of maintenance when they, the roofing professionals, never informed us that we needed additional hardware for a leak-free roof. We assumed that they, the professionals, would know what our roof needed and would include all of this at the time of quote and install. She tried to insinuate that we haggled over price, going with a cheaper option, (we didn't) and she stated that Zach didn't do the work, his dad Mark did. Wrong again, Sheryl. Mark quoted it in June and Zach did it in October. The bottom line: don't trust them to do what is needed, don't trust them to inform you of what is needed, and certainly don't trust them to stand by their assurance of a leak-free roof.

-You were 4 weeks late to complete the project -6 weeks late…read moreto provide invoice -Found it easier to discount me then provide the invoice i asked for -Almost zero communication -Every individual project down to the smallest things were done at a later time frame then you said or just not done at all such as the shelves in the red cabinets -Guy immediately demanded payment upon completion instead of providing a proper invoice with due date. -There are literally open uncovered nails in the cabinets for people to jam there hands on trying to remove items. -These cabinets are attached to my warped counter. -Not a single surface built is level or straight -The small amount of wood flooring put down is unlevel, and therefore a tripping hazard. -The hole he caused and then patched in my floor was patched poorly. After sending this information to Guy, I got zero response.
